Hello.
Apologies for what is probably a very basic question. We installed Newsweek Pro (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_week_pro/) and are wondering how (where?) the filters are activated for the landing area.
If we click on the element, and go to “filter” (category filter), we are not seeing where the categories are selected. So we’re not sure how specific content is appearing in each element.
Example: the two vertical “TRAVEL” category elements in the demo.
It seems we cannot attach a screenshot.

I am looking for the two first blocks in right rolumn (single template) in the free news theme, but it seems that they are not added, even though other templates from this theme has been added. Can this template be added?

When I am trying to customize the theme template on staging site then images of my live site are not shown. Please tell me the reason and how to solve it. My website is https://techpeal.com and staging site link is https://demo.techpeal.com/
This class fixed the right column of the website as they do in the demos and it stopped working.

In addition to the previously reported bug with the Webp option in theme panel, I have found another bug.
Environment:
1. Theme version: 12.6.6
2. Webp format is generated by Ewww Image Optimizer as per your guide. – All images become Webp and all are lazyloaded.
4. For CWV / speed, we must disable lazyload for the first image (in the first flex or any block / logo is text). For this we use define( ‘EIO_LAZY_FOLD’, 1 ); in wp-config as per Ewww’s guide – under Exclude Images header.
5. The result is that the first image on the page converts to Web but is not lazyload – so this is correct. The Theme’s option Use Webp Format is meant to show this first image in Webp, because it exists on the server.
Issue:
The theme stops using the webp file for the first image when any caching system is on. This includes the “Cache block results” option on the block, WP super cache as per your guide.
How to test:
1. Make sure you have caching enabled – WP super cache as per your guide. Also can enable “Cache block results” on the actual block.
2. If you are logged-in, you will see a webp. If you are logged out – the theme will also be showing webp for some time, but a little later – once the cache is generated – the theme will start showing jpg (despite having webp on the server).
– I have tested this on various websites and demo sites. On the dev sites that do not have caching, there is no problems.

Hmm, normally there shouldn’t be a problem, we checked the demos to the live sound and everything seemed to be fine – https://i.imgur.com/iAlp9Gq.jpeg, but it is possible that this problem only occurs when monitors with a high resolution are used or some situation of this kind.
I’m glad you found the solution with “em” for fonts instead of “px”, from what I’ve seen this is a very used solution in adjusting the font according to the screen sizes. If this solution works well and only the slider block is affected, what I can suggest is: use a custom css that will apply only per slider to can adjust the size of fonts based on screen, here is a concept that can be used:
html { font-size: 62.5%; }
body { font-size: 1em;}
@media (max-width: 300px) {
html { font-size: 70%; }
}
@media (min-width: 500px) {
html { font-size: 80%; }
}
@media (min-width: 700px) {
html { font-size: 100%; }
}
@media (min-width: 1200px) {
html { font-size: 140%; }
}
Other suggestions are to try this:
1vw = 1% of viewport width
1vh = 1% of viewport height
1vmin = 1vw or 1vh, whichever is smaller
1vmax = 1vw or 1vh, whichever is larger

I recently purchased and installed the “Newspaper” theme on my WordPress site. However, I’ve encountered some significant issues that need your urgent attention:
Website Stuck: After installing the theme and attempting to import the demo layout, my website became unresponsive. It appears to get stuck during the import process.
High Resource Usage: Following the installation and demo import, my cPanel shows an unusually high usage of server resources. Specifically, the physical memory is getting exhausted, which is causing performance issues.

I don’t understand how to achieve to have 2 rows.
So I want to import it and modify it with my infos and colors.
But when I go in the Pre-designed Templates – Cloud Library, I only find all the homepage Homepage – Free News template.
If I import it, I am afraid that it will rease all my template site.
It is correct?
If so how I can achieve to importe ONLY the header of this demo without destroy mine?

– If you install with content, it will import demo posts, menus, logos, categories, the homepage, custom design where available, theme panel settings.

We do not understand why you release pre-build Websites with no multiple pages footer singe post Templates etc.
In newspaper_free_news_pro Demo which I am interested in, there is only a SINGLE option in each section template (Header, Page, Post, Footer)etc to select.
We definitely need multi template options to have a good starting point and some imagination from you, the majority of pre-build websites are like cloning each other and change the colors a little bit and just release to the public…
