These elements are specially designed this way and are working properly. Please note that modifying these elements is not an easy task, and multiple changes have to made, while taking in account every aspect.

I am glad that I see that you are happy with our theme. So, please notice that each of our demos has an own style and the theme does not have any such an option that defer/exclude loading this demo style when you import it, sorry! If you want to personalize yourself, you should import the default demo and then you can customize it to your desire.

Do you have cleared all your chances after demo installing? You should do that, purge all CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. If the problem is still there, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can easily identify you. Also, you can provide the FTP full access for further investigation.

I am sorry that you are unhappy in this regard! Please notice that creating this type of menu in the mega menu has not been included in our demo style because we watched not to include many settings here to avoid the confusions. As you can see in the above useful tutorial, this type of menu is not more complicated to create. You simply have to make a page with a single image at the top, and below this, you should create 3 columns where you should include the WP Custom Menu Element from Visual Composer, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/VervgVxel and the result you should see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7ZIMdPt4JN I created for you a layout which has to have your custom page which has to be loaded on your mega menu. The code of it can be seen here -> http://pastebin.com/sbcbCCZG This is just an example. You should follow the steps which are presented above and create your own custom menu.
I saw on the dashboard that you got a bad rating because of this, and I would like, if possible to change it because we are here and we will glad help you in the future if you have any other problems related to basic theme settings.

I recommend you to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. After FTP installation, you should import and install the Scandal Demo according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-installing-demos/ Do not forget to import the demo with dummy content if you want some content in your website.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. The breadcrumb implementation was modified in version 7.5 indeed, and the code meets the standards as required by google – https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/breadcrumbs The same breadcrumb system is present on the demo as well – https://www.screencast.com/t/Hc6KWOk0Wdxc and it is working as intended.
We will investigate the matter on a deeper level to identify possible issues, and a solution will be made available if needed.

We are sorry that you feel that way about the theme. Every user is entitled to his own opinion, we try our best to solve all the issues, if possible.

1. These are the plugins that are recommended to be used along with the theme, and periodically tested to work properly – https://www.screencast.com/t/zEaZ8Amv As it can be seen the WordPress SEO by Yoast is on that list so it is fully compatible. Here you can find a guide to help you configure it – https://yoast.com/wordpress-seo/ if you are having problems.
Also the theme has only one stylesheet by default and I believe that you are using a plugin for optimization, that could be causing these results.

2. These are all the blocks available in Visual composer as it can be seen in the demo – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/ also the big grids – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/ and we are sorry that you can not find one to suit your purposes.

3. Unfortunately at the present time you will just have to ignore the activation message from Visual composer, a solution may be provided within a future update regarding this.

Please consider that the Newspaper theme is and always was in a continuous improvement process, and the developer team is always looking to satisfy our customers with optimizations in every possible field. You can use the slider element from Visual composer for your page – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/ Here you can see what image sizes this element is using – https://www.screencast.com/t/iRJ2o7q3Fs or you could use a Big grid slide – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-slide/
Please note that it would not be an easy task to modify the slider to a custom size, and it would require taking into account multiple changes to the elements and classes that are used.

Ensure that your system status is increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Notice that all your data is loaded in your database. You will lose the content if you will disable the demo and all of your content has been edited from the dummy content. Otherwise, all of your data is loaded in your database and you do not lose the data/settings.
