Hi,
I just installed newspaper theme in a subfolder of my website (mysite.com/blog/) and posts are listed one by one in the home page. I want to switch to boxed version like in travels guide demo!
Can you help me please ?
PS : I set an image background to the site but boxed version is not activated!

Cant figure out why when I install the demo theme on a fresh install of wordpress that it doesnt look the same as the demo at http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_video/. http://imgur.com/a/FCUWL Image of my site after installation of dem, http://imgur.com/a/yj88z demo showcase site by tagdiv. Why is my site not showing the section with the add in and no padding above ‘Popular’? Cant get my head round it. really frustrating! thanks
I am using Newspaper and the black version demo.
I am publishing a post in my ‘World News’ category, but I also want it on the Featured posts at the top.
When I click ‘Featured’ and ‘World News’ as categories, it shows up at the top and when clicked, it goes to the ‘Featured/Blog-Post’ URL and not the ‘World-News/Blog-Post’. I don’t want duplicate posts.
I would simply like to have all my latest posts show up on the featured posts, but not in the featured category.

I am trying to find a way to collect email addresses that works with the Newspaper theme. I’m attempting to ask for emails from the sidebar via a small form.
I am using MailMunch together with MailChimp. MailMunch is a plugin that creates a widget to be dragged to the sidebar. I go into my widgets and drag it into the sidebar. I’m using the World News demo theme and I drag the MailMunch sidebar widget right underneath the Social Counter widget and above the Ad Box widget.
It does not display.
Can you please advise? I don’t think this is a plugin issue – I have a problem whenever I try to add widgets to the sidebar from the widget menu unless I do it from the visual composer.

I have checked on our demo on mobile mode and this issue does not appear. You can try yourself and you will see that I am right. This type of problem appears only for your website, sorry! Try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. If you are using some untested plugins, please keep in mind that all of these can interact with the theme packet and cause a lot of unknown issues, like this. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP and then check the results.

The element is created custom for the dark demo version. In order to re-create it you need to create a tab element in visual composer and only use grids with style 1. Then you ned to add an extra class to the tab element: td-tab-color

If the SEO is done properly (use seo yoast) you do not need any extra markup in the theme or spend extra money for it. The theme will allow you to get review stars in google. Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option for Read More on pages, sorry! Also, please notice that we have some Blocks which use the Read More functionality like as -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-12/ -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-13/ If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Before trying the manual method, you can try a few things to get the demo install to work (the manual method is not a walk in the park. It’s easier if you get it to work automatically)
First thing you need to check is if you meet the newspaper system requirements:

Then you need to increase your system status parameters:

These 2 will be required not only for the demos, they are requirements for the theme’s functionality.
Then, if the demo still won’t load, you need to check if you have the correct permissions on your upload folder. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the cpanel, please contact your hosting provider. Another thing you can check with your host is to unlock the demo if there is some setting which blocks access to it.
If all of these will not do it, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and request the manual instalation and we will provide the XML file for the specific demo you want to import.

Unfortunately it seems your content is mission from your site. The theme does not handle the content. It is handled by wordpress and stored in the database. The theme will not delete your content. It only styles how the content is shown, but it will not be able to delete content. The theme only deletes the demo content installed by the demos. If you edited a demo and edited all the posts and then switched demos, then the content could have been removed, but not if you created your own content though. Please do not edit the demo content that comes with the demos as it will get removed when uninstalling a demo or switching demos.
Sorry but I do not know of any other explanation for missing content.

We are working with a client and they use demo from November to create document and we want access to same document so they can check @ category/post/top-grid etc… demo pages that was available in theme demo at the end of November.

Sorry but unfortunately the demos cannot be changed dynamically. There is no such functionality implemented for the moment. It is a neat idea though and I will add it to our list for future updates. Maybe if the developers consider it, we will be able to bring such an option in future versions of the theme.
