I suggest you test this first without using any plugins, leave just theme’s Visual Composer plugin and also make sure that you disable all html/js compression and test again.

Also make sure that you follow their instructions on how to unblock resources and let google bot view your page correctly, all this guides/tutorials are provided by google in your test page:

Please also note that the mobile friendly test is a new feature from google, the mobile friendly algorithm being released by Google on April 21st so we haven’t dealed enough with it to fully understand it. We will release the new version 5 of newspaper theme which will be a major update with new design and lots of new features and we will make sure that we’ll test it with this new tool from google.

The VC shot-codes aren’t appearing in the search result’s by default. I’ve tested this using the latest theme version: http://screencast.com/t/1WQIaSQg – http://screencast.com/t/Q8mu3bD8k – all this are homepages so if the short-codes would appear on search result they should also appear here.

Newspaper theme was designed in 3 columns fixed grid, so the blocks are recommended to be used 1/1 – 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3, or 2/3 + 1/3 like you can also see in backend when you split the row(are colored blue): http://screencast.com/t/0y8y1bJwl8vy You can also split row like you like, but not all blocks will work fine.

Block 11 doesn’t display read more button you have to use block 12 if you want read more button. Please take a look on our demo:

Hi,

Try to add width and height to the banners something like this:

Unfortunately for logo cannot be added width and height as when you change the header style also the logo size it’s changed. You can test also our demo, it has this error.

Module 15 take the entire content of the articles and you can use it on loops (category page, latest articles,blog..) and this will show content until read more tag is added. You can see this on our demo blog: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_classic_blog/

In our demo each stak is an example of a website so you cannot use different headers and menus on different page without custom modification – if this is what you mean, the theme doesn’t have an option for this. Unfortunately we cannot provide custom work as we work hard on development, updates and support.

In the theme we included a smaller version of the demo which comes with all page templates and the basic setup for starting a site. We didn’t included the whole demo because we wanted to keep the theme as small as possible.

We could not include the official demo in the theme because we wanted to keep the theme as small as possible. The xml was not included in the theme package because wordpress importer is buggy and it doesn’t save the entire data (sidebar, block settings, footer widgets, etc have to be configured manually). We included a smaller demo which comes with the page templates and some posts/widgets which should provide good start.
On our demo’s menu are added only some categories that are set to megamenu and pages with submenu items: http://screencast.com/t/jQxycYphSR You can make your menu that you need by adding your pages and categories like in the screenshot.
