Hi,
That section is not a page template it’s dedicated to importing all available pages from the cloud library. This means you can import any page from any demo that has been uploaded there.
If you want to create pages with a similar or identical structure to the Revenant demo, you can simply duplicate a page you like—for example, the homepage: https://prnt.sc/4NK53KxWK8wp then, edit it using tagDiv Composer and adjust the elements as needed.
Thank you!
Hi,
In order to be able to have comments in post, you need to make these settings -> https://i.imgur.com/83CnhKi.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/enabledisable-comments/
Also, in your case you are using a pro demo and you need to edit the single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library using tagDiv Composer like this -> https://i.imgur.com/1kebAnv.png and add the single post comments where you want to have it -> https://i.imgur.com/i9pnmBJ.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
No, there’s no issue. The CSS code is targeting an element within the TagDiv Composer that supports custom styling. This approach is commonly used when you want the styles to apply only to a specific page or template. https://prnt.sc/AvVniXmsT4SB
In this case, the RTL demo requires some additional CSS adjustments to ensure certain elements display correctly in the RTL version.
That is exactly what I have done and what I have looks **nothing** like the calisight demo. are you **now** saying that I have to build the calisight demo from scratch? im not understanding all of this yet.
Hi,
I think that you want to do it like this -https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_shop_watches_store/ if yes, then it can be done use tagDiv Composer, select the Woo product block and search for the button option, which should be under the Layout tab. https://prnt.sc/NdCypAZ3uyd5
Hi,
This is because I think you search in the cloud templates after the default, but those have a different name, please search after Single Post Template 1, that one is used for the default demo.
Hi,
Thanks for your swift reply. I did worked with these solutions you provided even before sending my first complaint.
I’ve gone through all your links, but I’m still unable to display posts from multiple selected categories in one block. It only shows posts from one category or all categories.
I’ve been trying to figure this out ever since I got the theme a few months ago. So either I’m confused because of the many features, or the issue is with the prebuilt demo I’m using which I’ve changed multiple times.
I even tried getting a developer to work around it, but he hasn’t been able to solve it either.
Hi, I imported the Week Pro demo and I’m customizing the homepage. The content area is narrower than the original demo — the rows don’t stretch to match the full header width (from MENU to SUBSCRIBE button). I’ve set Page Layout Size to 1400px in Theme Panel, and Row Stretch to “Stretch row and 1400px content” on each row, but the content width doesn’t change. What setting am I missing to match the Week Pro demo layout width? Thank you.
Hi sefakoc,
Normally, if you have a PRO demo, then you need to edit the page and cloud template using the tagDiv Composer, then select the social counter element and set the socials you use on it.
Thank you!
Hi,
The ads on the NewsWeek are set using tagDiv Composer on pages and cloud templates and those are rendered by using the element ad box from tagDiv Composer.
Also, all ads that are on our demos are banners so those can be removed or replaced from ad box element from the image ad tab – https://prnt.sc/YeZHo0Pqsa0F
I hope this will help you!
Hello tagDiv Support Team,
I hope you are doing well.
I currently have a live website running on a custom PHP (CodeIgniter) system:
👉 hbtvnews.com
Now, I am planning to migrate my website to WordPress using the Newspaper theme, which I have already purchased.
Before migrating the live site, I want to set up a staging/development environment (for example: staging.hbtvnews.com or a temporary domain provided by my hosting) so that I can:
* Set up the theme
* Import prebuilt demos
* Migrate and test all my existing data (around 18,000+ news posts)
* Finalize design and structure
However, I am facing an issue where the prebuilt websites and tagDiv Cloud Library are not accessible without activating the license key on the staging/temporary domain.
I would like clarification on the following:
1. Can I activate the same license on a staging or temporary domain for development purposes?
2. After completing development, can I deactivate the license from the staging domain and reactivate it on my live domain (hbtvnews.com)?
3. Does the Newspaper theme officially support staging environments without affecting the main license usage?
4. What is the recommended workflow to set up and test prebuilt demos before going live?
My goal is to safely complete the migration and testing process without affecting my live website and without violating license policies.
I would really appreciate your guidance on the best and recommended approach.
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
Prakash Chauhan
Hi,
Please try like this: import a theme slider: https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos-prebuilt-websites/, then edit it, select the Content and set a category – https://i.imgur.com/OQylzO3.png after that save the settings and set the slider shortcode – https://i.imgur.com/y5FvrjR.png – https://i.imgur.com/Vh3u4ec.jpeg
This is just an example, you can use any slider or create your own as long as the settings from general are set for a type post and a category.
Hi,
What you can do is to use a carousel from Revolution Slider and set it with tagDiv Composer at the top of the homepage https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos-prebuilt-websites/
Thank you!
Hi,
It appears that you are using the Free News demo, so in order to change/edit the logo, you need to use the tagDiv Composer, edit the homepage and select the logo, then select the svg tab and remove the svg code, after that you can add your own svg, image or/and text logo https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
Hi,
The menu can be created under Dashboard> Appearance> Menu https://prnt.sc/pqei0GsTurlp
To assign it on a header, you need to edit that cloud header with tagDiv Composer, then select the mobile viewport after that you have 2 elements that can be used for the mobile menu: https://prnt.sc/eJcQc0R0zpCc
– Mobile horizontal menu (already used on this demo) https://prnt.sc/UN1q8xVNZRll
– Mobile menu element – https://prnt.sc/D12KGEObTLon
Thank you!
Hi,
The demo you’re using includes two headers: one for when the theme is transparent, and another for when it is not.
The non-transparent header is set as the global default. For any pages or templates where you want to use the transparent header, you’ll need to edit them with tagDiv Composer. Open the Manager, go to the Header section, and change it to “Header Template – Trucking.” Once you click on this option and it turns green, it means the header has been individually assigned to that specific page or template – https://prnt.sc/uOTTcXqc9AL7
Thank you!
Hi,
You can explore all our demos here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/newspaper-prebuilt-websites/?demo-type=all and choose the one that best matches your image sizes and overall layout.
If the issue only affects the single post template, it can be adjusted quickly and easily. However, if changes are needed across the entire site, it’s definitely possible, but it will require a bit more work—each flex block may need to be adjusted individually to ensure the images display properly.
Also, if you can share a link to your website, I’d be happy to take a closer look and suggest the best solution. In some cases, it might be enough to regenerate the images or change the thumbnail size used in the blocks.
Thank you!
Hi,
Just to make sure I fully understand your request: you’d like to keep the Newspaper theme, but replace the current demo/prebuilt website free news with the “Trucking Services” demo so you can use its tracking-related features—is that correct?
If so, yes, this is possible. The approach I recommend is to first set up a staging environment and install the Trucking Services demo there. You can follow this guide for the installation process: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ https://i.imgur.com/Dcpxfbz.png
Once the demo is installed on staging, my recommendation is to manually transfer only the content you need to your main site. For example:
– create new pages on the live site and paste the content from staging
– duplicate Cloud Templates and paste the corresponding template code
This way, you maintain full control and avoid overwriting existing content on your main website.
Hi,
Yes, this can be done.
You need to have the theme, and after that, make sure you create a full backup. Then install the Newspaper theme. After that, there are two options: you can either directly install the demo you like, or you can import pages and Cloud templates from the cloud.
After using either of these options, you’ll need to use the Theme Builder and tagDiv Composer to edit the content and set it to display what you want in each block.
Also, we can help you here on the forum or via email at contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you.

Hello tagDiv Support,
We are building a site with the Newspaper theme. We currently have two home pages in WordPress:
– “Home” (front page)
– “Home test”
We changed theme colors via the tagDiv Theme Panel (accent, header text, menus, posts/pages colors). These changes appear on “Home test”, but they do NOT reflect on “Home”, which still shows the old default colors.
We also changed the site logo via the Theme Panel. The logo change does not show anywhere (neither on “Home” nor on “Home test”).
Site: https://datronbilisim.com
Demo/base layout: Dental Studio (prebuilt website)
Can you advise why Theme Panel changes (colors and logo) are not applying to “Home”? Do we need to clear theme cache, assign a specific Theme Style, or copy settings between home pages?
Thank you.
Hello Support,
I am contacting you because I am running into what looks like a compatibility or translation-handling issue between WPML and the Newspaper theme by tagDiv.
My setup is:
-
WordPress
Newspaper theme (Today News PRO demo/import)
tagDiv Composer / Cloud Library
WPML
Secondary language: German (/de)
Default language: English
What I am trying to achieve is straightforward:
I want to have an English footer on the English site and a German footer on the German site. The footer content was created with the tagDiv Composer as a footer template / Cloud Template.
The issue is that I cannot create or manage the translation workflow for these Cloud Templates correctly, and as a result the German footer keeps showing English text for posts.
Here is what I observed:
In WPML → Settings → Post Types Translation, I set the Cloud Template post type to:
“Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language”
However, in the Cloud Templates area in the WordPress backend, I do not see the WPML translation controls I would expect, such as the language columns or the “+” translation icon for German.
Because of that, I cannot create a proper German translation of the footer template through WPML.
I also checked WPML String Translation and Translation Dashboard / Other texts (Strings), but the footer text does not appear there.
The footer text is not coming from a normal theme option or a menu string. It is content inside a tagDiv footer block created in the tagDiv Composer.
I tried creating a copied/duplicated footer and also a copied single post template as a workaround, but that led to additional problems:
-
changes in the copied version affected the English version as well, or vice versa
at some points, post formatting broke for both languages
I had to manually restore several pages/templates in tagDiv Composer
some templates disappeared or behaved inconsistently in the backend, even though the frontend still partially worked
Another related symptom:
In English posts, I can select the template “Single Template – Today News PRO”.
In German posts, I only see “Default”, not the same Single Template option.
This makes me think WPML may not be recognizing or linking the tagDiv Cloud Templates correctly for the secondary language.
At one point, setting Cloud Templates to a stricter translation mode caused header/footer/template behavior to break more severely, so I reverted to the fallback setting above.
At the moment, the frontend is mostly restored, but one core problem remains:
the German version — all posts — of the site still displays the English footer text, and I have no reliable WPML-based way to translate the footer Cloud Template.
From my perspective, the main issue is:
WPML seems not to expose the translation UI for tagDiv Cloud Templates in this setup, and the footer content is also not available through String Translation.
Could you please help me with the following:
-
Is this a known compatibility issue with Newspaper/tagDiv Cloud Templates?
Should WPML show translation icons / language columns for these Cloud Templates in the backend?
Is there a recommended WPML workflow for translating tagDiv footer templates created with tagDiv Composer?
Why would the English Single Template be selectable in English posts, but only “Default” appear in German posts?
Is there any additional configuration, compatibility plugin, or troubleshooting step required so WPML recognizes these Cloud Templates properly?
I can provide screenshots of:
WPML Post Type Translation settings, the Cloud Templates backend screen where no translation icons appear and
the footer output on the German frontend

PS here’s the response by WPML support:
Hello there,
Thank you for contacting WPML support. I’d be happy to assist you on this issue.
According to the documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/, the templates should display “+” signs. However, it appears that the plugin layout has changed.
Could you please reach out to their support team to check if there’s a way to view the template list as shown in the documentation?
We can also review this from our side and report it to our compatibility team, but contacting them directly would likely be the fastest solution for you.
Regarding the templates, lets translate the templates first and check it further.
Let me know there feedback on it.
Thanks
Hi,
Ok, for this you need to edit the page that is assigned to that tab (that tab has 2 pages assigned; if you click on it, you’ll see the 2 pages with an ID for each and the name of the tab – https://i.imgur.com/dj5puSu.png ). Now you need to open the page that contains the ID for Overview with tagDiv Composer (I believe the name of the page from the demo is “Company CPT Template – Overview”), and on that page you can make the edits for the technology taxonomy: https://i.imgur.com/jZBIsbY.png
Thank you!
Hi,
1. Yes, this can be done using tagDiv Composer, you can add, move the elements, edit them or remove https://i.imgur.com/qbkS767.png https://i.imgur.com/nmov9wm.png
2. The ad can be set on any demo, for this, it can be use the ad box element.
Thank you!
