Automatic updates are a bad idea. You should never allow automatic updates for anything. Not wordpress, not plugins and not themes. You should have the chance to create a back-up before any update. The speedbooster plugin has nothing to do with the wp automatic updates however. It is complicated to install as it’s meant for advanced users. Helps to read the changelog before doing major upgrade for theme versions, such as from 7x to 8x, just like going from major versions of WP or WooCommerce, etc., — AS THINGS CHANGE OVER TIME. Hence “optional.” If your read the info on the change with v8, they have provided a new simpler leaner faster plugin they have come up with call TagDiv Composer which I’ve been using in beta for looooong time over here. Works great. Visual Composer is still included but is optional for those setting up theme for the first time. If you check the ‘all files’ zip download, you will see VC is still there.
Generally good to also make backups of your dbase, site files, plugins and theme prior to doing any major update so you can ‘roll back’ if something doesn’t work.

It is considerably faster because for example it does not display page builder content. Mobile pages have to be created through the mobile editor. There are predefined templates for the front page, post pages, category pages, smart lists etc. It has also predefined fonts. These cannot be changed. Settings are kept to a minimum

The mobile theme is not a required plugin however. You can choose not to use, and display the same content from desktop.
There is no option to remove the sidebars for mobile at the moment, this will work only for the mobile theme. Something like this could be available in the coming updates.

My website is very slow on Mobile, some images are not loading. Users can’t access to the menu, when I click on it nothing is happening… I don’t understand why. Plus my Pages Insight scores are pretty high: 88 Mobile / 92 Desktop: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmybeautifuleurope.com%2F&tab=desktop . My GT Metrix score is high too.

The ID is the one in front of the vertical line. Check with google page speed and see which one needs to be moved. Select the ones mentioned by google.
wp-color-picker seems to be the only one detected by google page speed insight

Please try and test without the ad implementation you currently have. Remove all ads/plugins and test again. It seems that it takes a considerable amount of time loading the ads.
Then try deactivating or reducing the number of images displayed in the footer Instagram.

If they can’t set it to be ‘on’ by default for your domain, you can usually control that with .htaccess file.

I believe that is why the transition was placed in the first place, to make the possible flashing not so noticeable. Not all browsers produce the same results, there are differences regarding how the website is loaded between Chrome, Firefox and IE for example. You could try some tricks from these topics

Likely because the font is loading ‘after’ everything else to speed up page load.
Only way to really fix that is complex
a) either load the font in header up front
b) convert the font elements to base 64 and include inline in the code
c) Another option, would be to unhook the theme font, and instead load the ‘font awesome’ font off their CDN, which would make it more likely to have been cached by a visitor – and hence load faster even though 5x the size of the ‘slimmed’ version included with theme

Notice that thing does not depend on our theme because it’s just a loading from Instagram and Pinterest. Also, if your website is not well optimized is there are great chances to get a small score at the page speed.
