Please keep in mind that the Wp Super cache is fully tested with the theme and until now, seems to work as properly with our theme. Please ensure that you have disabled all the untested plugins from your side because all of these may interact with the theme and this plugin and cause a lot of unknown issues. If the problem persists, you should try to make a new clean install from scratch, only with tested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. After I update my theme my site’s mobile theme can be slip right or left; the problem is: “slipping right or left is make difficult to slip up and down.
I mean when I want to slip down of the page faster, sometimes it slip right or left and it is too annoying…
I want to close this gap in right of left, I dont want to slip right or left. Please help me.
The theme is not 100% compatible with php7. However I have site running Newspaper with php7 and seems ok. I did check the code and ideally Tagdiv need to re-write 5 items which fail php7 compatibility.
They seem strangely reluctant. Even they they where among the first pushing how good their code was such it would run a faster site! Also it is only 5 items!!
Maybe more of us need to encourage them!
Hi, my host asked me if I want to upgrade from php 5.6 to php 7.
Will this work or cause problems?
I read PHP 7 will make the site more secure and faster. So I want to do it.
I am running the latest version of WP 4.6.1 and Newspaper 7.4. I did a compability test with all plugins and it passed all green and good.
Does Newspaper support this?

The ‘cascading’ css can be seen as this is the way css works by rewriting itself. If the site is adjusted for better loading speeds, this effect will not be so visible anymore.
There are multiple threads on our forum regarding page speed optimization. You can try to do a search through the forum but be advised as it gets very technical. Unfortunately running a website always is.

Likely time out connecting to FB. Not much else you can do about that.
Some people take different approach and make “static” widgets, and then once a week manually update the numbers. Kind of more elegant way to do it if time permits. (Pages load faster too!)

Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches, remove server caches (if you do not have any access to do it, request this task to the service provider).

We are not adding the spaces. We simply add the group of photos with Faster Image Insert. Then we select all and upload into the post. We do multiple pic dumps daily with 40-50 photos each. It is a huge waste of time to go in and delete every space. We didn’t have this issue until we switched to the Newspaper theme. Anything you can think of to help fix this issue would be a huge help. Thank you.

The theme has been developed to be fast but it may still need configurations on this matters so test your site using google’s page speed insights testing tool(or gtmetrix) and try to follow the instructions indicated there to optimize the server.
