I removed the author, date, and comment fields from a Flex block without realizing that it would remove it everywhere that block was used. Now I need to restore it to it’s original form, and just remove it from particular posts. You will notice, if you look at any post on the main page – libertylens.news – that these elements are not present in the byline.

I have 2 questions :
1. Is it possible to open a single-post like a modal?
I would like to display a Flex Block on a page, set a filter to a particular category, and have readers open the single-post like a modal popup.
I know that modal-popups are for page-ID’s, so am wondering if there is a workaround.
2. I set a single-post template to “Autoload” – with “same category next”
However, this isn’t loading in mobile. Is there a different setting?

Thank you, you are absolutely right. I see that the “magazine pro” template has a “Big grid flex 1” on top that pulls articles from all categories, so I assumed the posts loop below would start with the current category first post, but it has indeed an offset of 4.

You can not delete the empty column, only the row that contains empty columns.
I saw that you have there a lot of empty rows; you can delete them with right-click.

The posts loop doesn’t display posts because you have only three posts in that category, and if you have the flex block, the posts are displayed in that block.
I think the posts loop is set as an offset, so select the block and remove the offset -> https://i.imgur.com/dJ0iFQu.png let that field empty.

I recommend using cloud templates, which are more flexible. To hide the description for the template that you have you need to use a custom code css

Templates used: Magazine Pro
Template I’m seeing this problem: Category Template – Magazine PRO
Wordpress: 6.2.2 (latest)
PHP: 8.1.19 (also tested with PHP 7.4.33)

I have a hierarchical category tree. Example:
Animals – Birds – Blue birds (3 posts)
Animals – Birds – Red birds (7 posts)
For this example, I have a post titled “Mountain bluebird” that is a member of (at least) 3 categories, ie “Animals”, “Birds” and “Blue birds”.
If I look at the category page for “Animals” I will see the post about the mountain bluebird.
If I look at the category page for “Birds” I will see the post about the mountain bluebird.
However, if I look at the category page for “Blue birds” I only get “No posts to display”, even if there are 3 posts with that category set.
Strangely enough, this problem is only partially there with the “Red birds”-category. In there I can see 3 of the 7 posts with that category.
The block that is failing is the “Posts loop”-block, which is standard on the “Magazine PRO” template.
If I clone the template, and add a “Flex box 1” with filter set to “Current category” that flex box will get the articles without any problems. But the Posts loop still displays “No posts to display”.
This is a fairly fresh install (last week) where I imported all posts from the current site, as well as imported the “Magazine pro” templates.
How can I add image to Big Grid Flex 2 ?

I think that I understand what you mean, you use the get_category() from the file td_module_flex_1.php, but the problem is if this has the element you need, for this you need to check the function in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module.php – https://i.imgur.com/Jy19PPp.png the function from there need to be changed to can display the picture.

After sometime of troubleshooting I realized that both sites I have installed this template on were doing the same thing.
If the Next Article has a short title it does not center the “Article Name” underneath the Next Article text. The Previous side appears fine. Just the left side.
It’s resolved by removing the following css

align-items: flex-end;
}

For the category template, please use posts loop; if you have set a posts loop then will display all posts in this category or you can use Flex Block/Big Grid Flex and set the filter to “Category -Current category” => https://i.imgur.com/7P99qx0.png and this is why the block will display posts for each category. So, please check the settings.

Hi am using the Flex Loop module to build the category template, however in the front end when I view my website on the category landing pages the category for each post is showing different category name and not the category name that I am on for instances, because my posts have multiple categories selected, in the frontend if I view the category “Long Form” the posts show the right posts but the category name is not according to the “Long form” but instead showing one of the other multiple categories. Please could you assist in how I can make the category meta show according to the category I am viewing.

1. I read the guide at the link you offered. However, I did not find anything about how to cope with header cloud templates. Moreover, the guide is outdated, and I cannot follow it. The guide shows a screenshot from the cloud template page, where there is a possibility to add new languages (clicking on a plus icon). However, in the latest version of TagDiv/WPML there is no such possibility (see the screenshot at the link https://prnt.sc/uXbaWpcIw1vi).
To add another language I use WPML’s translation management menu. But the header cannot be sent because of base64 encoding.
2. Another solution with online decoder I don’t understand. I have decoded the content of the header cloud template. And what do I do with the decoded text? I can see there a lot of base64 decoded attributes, such as tdc_css, flex_width, f_descr_font_size, content_general and others. Some of them are located under the tags, which are not existing in the custom XML configuration tab. Do I have to add all of them (including new tags) to custom XML or what?

We tried using Flex Block 1, but still no luck. However, when we inactivate the cache plugin, it works.

1. I think the problem is caused by the plugin cache; Also, you can try to use Flex Block 1 and check after.
2. Also, our theme uses the WordPress search function, and we made a few changes only for the live search. By default, those will display all posts and pages that contain the word/words you are looking for in the title or post content, but if those words are not in the content, then will not display content about that category, for example.
