So, I know last version you guys added the automatic theme update via the Update section in WordPress.
I updated via SFTP, but the notification to update to the latest version is still there. Could be a glitch.

When I contacted the host he said there is no issue in SQL There is Problem with the theme it was showing clearly

Now You tell me what this means. When I switched to Another theme by FTP it started working later I again changed to previous.
this error comes frequently not always and lead to show the error on all page for 10-15 minutes.

The option for theme update was added only in Newspaper v10.3.1 you’ll need to make this time the update via FTP and after that you’ll be able to use the option from theme panel.

Dear Calin, I have changed the header from the standard-pack to a header from the cloud-template. Now I have added the Schema-Markup-Code to the header.php which I could access via Design –> Theme Editor and I also tried it via FTP like you described it in your last point. But it doesn’t work. How can I fix it? The standard-pack I have deactivated.

Indeed is possible to be a problem with the version of the theme you are using, please make sure that you update the theme to the last version, Newspaper v10.3.1 and try again, it should work without any other problems.

I have tried adding your sample child theme via FTP to wp-content/themes/. Afterward, WordPress gives me an error saying I need to add a parent theme when I go to Appearances > Themes. Is there another way to create/add the theme?

Yes, you can update the theme, but you need to know that all changes made in theme and theme plugins files will be lost.

First of all, your theme is really great 🙂
But after installing the theme and making adjustments, I started to encounter some problems.
– During using TD Composer on my home page, when I push save button it turns continuously to does not save.
– When I try to upload a picture for an Ad, TD Composer gives an error like this: “Invalid data Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation” and also ads on the sidebar don’t show up
Addition question:
– Is it possible to make a “changing advertisement” on a single Ad box? 2 different Ad in a Ad box?

I just upgraded to 10.3.1, and I can’t get child themes to work using a plugin or via FTP. Here’s what I have tried:
For all previous versions, I had been using the free version of the Child Theme Configurator plugin. I upgraded to the Pro version, and it says child themes should work when I analyze Newspaper. However, the site is completely broken when I preview/activate the child theme. I’ve tried changing the settings multiple times with the same result. This is a preview of the child theme (home page):

In order to get the api key you’ll need to update the theme to v10.3.1 -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ (we recommend to make the update via FTP) or there is another method, but the update have more bugs fixed. The method is to deactivate tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social counter and tagDiv Cloud Library, delete theme and reinstall them again from Newspaper > plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/pGwFbQj.png

In the moats cases this problem appear when you make the update via WordPress, using this method you need to change the theme, therefore the widgets will be deactivate in set in inactive widgets -> https://i.imgur.com/H73IQOD.png to prevent this problem, we recommend to make the update via FTP -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
In your case you can get all the widgests from incative, but you’ll need to set theme back manually, sorry for the inconvenience!

In this case I think that the better way it will be to make a staging website where to set the actual version, delete the theme using FTP and replace it with the one from v10.3.1 also deactivate all plugins until you make the update, after that go in welcome section and install the theme plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/ilG68q4.png if evrithing is go normal, then you can start to activate the plugins one by one and check the website, also if you are using a child theme, you need to replace it with the one from Newspaper X package.
