Hi,

In order to set the number of subcategories that you want to show in mega menu, you can use a header template from tagDiv Cloud Template use the header manager and set the limit number -> http://prntscr.com/oxid1x
If this is not working, or is not what you mean, please provide me a link to see your mega menu, also please provide some screenshots with the settings you’ve made for mega menu and the parent category for your subcategories, in this way I will be able to inspect the problem and provide you an working answer.

Hello @spurt,

If I understand correctly, you want to have a a button in your menu, something like this -> http://prntscr.com/owehyg if is so then you can use the multipurpose style header -> http://prntscr.com/oweiph -> http://prntscr.com/owej0f or you can use the header manager and tagDiv Composer and build the header how you like.

Thank you!

Hello !

You will have to select the sticky header too from the Header Manager and edit it using the tagDiv Composer.

Please take a look at this picture: https://www.screencast.com/t/pMCaIipGs

Hi,

First please make sure that all theme requirements are set as in our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all plugins and child theme ( if you are using ) and let only the tagDiv Composer , clear all cache, deactivate the cache plugin and try again.

In order to can use tagDiv Cloud Library make sure that the theme is activate .

For Header Manager please check our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/
Also if you want to change the footer or to use a footer page build with tagDiv Composer please check this documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

If there are still some problems please provide some more details an some screenshots.

Hope this will help you!

Hi,

That is possible with cloud templates. While editing a cloud template for example a single template, you can use the header manager to select a different header.

So for example I have 2 languages for a post. I have 2 cloud post templates that I apply. One for the (in my case) English post and one for the French translated post
https://prnt.sc/oujqga
https://prnt.sc/oujqzk
Since these templates are made with the composer, they can have different headers.
So my English post can have one header, and the French can have a different one selected in the header manager while editing the cloud post templates
https://prnt.sc/oujryj

If you don’t use cloud templates, maybe it could be done through the string translations of WPML, let me know.

Thanks

Hello !

We have reviewed the issue you have mentioned but we couldn’t reproduce it on any device. That can be an issue from your host or internet connection but thank your for bringing that up !

Also for the header you have to edit the sticky version too from the header manager: https://www.screencast.com/t/s6mCIR6O

Thank you !

Hi.
Our header manager is changing the full pc/mac layout when we change the mobile landscape layout. We seem to be having issues with the TagDiv editor today. I can edit the header while editing a page – that’s when it changes the layout for pc/imac. When I try to change the cloud template header 3, it gets the error.
Is there any other information I can provide? WordPress credentials, etc.?
Thanks again.

Hello !

1. The sticky header must be edited using the Header manager from the composer and edit it like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/CDbOGUJoxdR8

2. The lines come from the demo style and can’t be edited or removed.

3. We do not have any contact template but you can use a blank template, edit it the way you wish and use Contact Form 7 plugin since it’s supported by Newspaper theme.

Thank you !

I have Force Full Width set to No Stretch and I don’t see anywhere in the header manager how to control the width of the Header Template 11.

How do I make the header the same width as the page container?

Hi,

If you want to change the header and you have one of default headers then you can do it from theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/ if you are using the header template with the Header Manager then you need to set that template in Theme panel as global ->http://prntscr.com/orgl6n
If this is not what you mean, please provide some more details.

Thank you!

Hello !

Sorry, I missunderstood what you have. Please add the header from the Cloud library and then you can edit it using the Header Manager from the composer.

Thank you !

Thanks for your super quick answer, Vlad, but I still can’t edit the header template.

It looks like if I go to the category page and I click on the header, nothing happens, on the left there’s a screen with three buttons:
ADD ELEMENTS
LOAD TEMPLATES
HEADER MANAGER

But I can’t edit the header directly.

Do I do anything wrong?
Thanks for your patience
Andrea

Hello !

With the new Newspaper update everything you use from a modified demo ( not the default one ) can be edited using the tagDiv Composer. For the header you have the header manager in the composer.

As you can see here, each block has an style tab and in here depending on your block you can have more or less options: https://www.screencast.com/t/j7dJ32CuZ

We do recommend taking a look at our improved documentation for a better understanding of the new features: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/

This is from tagDiv support on ThemeForest..”The issue you are facing is not an issue at all. it is because of the header manager implementation. Once you have a custom header set created using the header manager and tagdiv composer, none of the default header options will show up as the custom header takes over every header setting of the theme panel.
the same applies to all templates that have a cloud library template set like the post templates, 404 templates, category templates, etc. ”

So which is it?

Hello, I just purchased Newspaper theme and I have few questions for you:

1) Can I edit every single category page individually or do I have to edit only the category template?

2) In the “category template”, I inserted the “Category Grid 10” but it only shows 3-4 post max. How can I show more?

3) Header menu: I’d like to delete the shadow under the header menu, how can I do it? I tried anyway in the Header Menu Manager but I couldn’t manage it.

Thanks,
Andrea

Hello !

Please try and importing another header from the cloud library and assign it to your page: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/ After that edit your homepage and assign the header to it: https://www.screencast.com/t/pBiX1hkswvd

Let me know if this option worked.

Thank you !

Hi,

I have added a cloud header template and set it as sticky. https://templatetester.com
However, the menu doesn’t work as sticky even though on the zone manager it is set to be sticky.

What could be the problem?
