@JBH, we removed the quotes shortcodes, we use HTML with classes now. The quotes are not updated by the script, sorry. We tried to add them but on some cases, there was a chance for errors to appear an we decided not to include them in the script. Header style 8 has the top menu included inside the container so removing the top menu will probably cause a few issues. I will add this to our fix list and hopefully in a future version we will be able to provide a fix for it.
you can make the logo a bit bigger using css:

If you want to add the meta tags, you have to introduce it in the header.php file from the theme, header section like this -> http://screencast.com/t/IjUYERYa Our theme does not have such option for RSS feed and you have to use some plugins with this functionality to achieve this. These things do not come from our theme and if you are not aware the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for your because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!

Mai exact am incercat sa adaug imaginea row de sub headerul din tema Travel si cele trei articole suprapuse in josul acestei imagini (box 5).
Am respectat toate setarile din Travel dar se pare ca nu au fost acceptate in Sport.

Dupa mai multe teste am ajuns la concluzia ca doua stiluri de header s-ar preta OK pentru ceea ce doresc eu dar amandoua sunt cu probleme (din punctul meu de vedere).
Primul ar fi Style 12 – Top colored meniu with logo. Totul este OK cu exceptia faptului ca ignora setarile pentru ACTIVE & HOVER COLOR .
Al doilea header style ar fi Style 8. Totul pare ok cu excptia scrolului. Când se afiseaza dupa un scroll meniul este afisat peste logo. Las aciv acest style pentru exemplificare.

I’m trying to reduce the height of the main menu and logo area in Header Style 12. I’d like to reduce the height of the menu item, overall menu, and logo areas. I know a ‘little’ css, but I’m not a css designer.

I updated recently to 6.6.4. All is OK except for the header main menu. I´m using the default style but it looks different. the grey shadow below the menu disappeared.

I recently installed the Newspaper theme and one thing I noticed that I’m not sure exactly why or how to fix is that my social media icons in the header and footer, as well as charachters/symbols for dropdown menus and arrows < and > in the Popular posts box and others have been replacced by what look like Japanese letters. What I did notice, however, is that once I go to another page on the site, any page, the charachters/symbols/icons all revert to the correct ones and stay that way sitewide until the browser is closed out of. Any idea why this is occurring and how I could fix it?

It looks like style 8 is only meant to work with a top bar nav in addition to the header menu. I switched to style 7 instead. Is there any way to make my logo a little bigger and not overlap the container in style 7?
Could you please provide the CSS to fix header style 8 (Hybrid menu 2). In full width, the logo is overlapping the bottom of the container and there is a line above the menu.

the theme seems to be well implemented but the website itself needs some attention I think. WP Super Cache is not correctly configured, gzip compression is “crashing” the access to your website with incorrect or unsupported compression. Also, I don’t think Speed Booster Pack Plugin is helping you. In fact I think it’s making it worse by trying too hard to force js defer and scripts/css to header/footer and halting the site.

This ad seams to be generated by a plugin: http://screencast.com/t/7PmuptOzfRb so try to deactivate any plugin related with the ads, clear the cache and test again.
