Have figured out it is the installation of Facebook Pixel causing the problem.

Have tried the official Facebook Plugin as well as Install Footers and Headers plugin but both are causing AMP errors. I have deactivate the plugins now because I want to have AMP pages on Google.

See attachment when either of the plugins is activated.

Can you recommend how I can use Facebook Pixel and not get massive Amp errors?

Hi,

You have to remove the elements that are set to appear when the header is sticky. Edit the header and activate the sticky mode – http://prntscr.com/njdq41 then remove all the elements that are in sticky mode. The same for the mobile sticky mode. Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Hi,

Please tell me, you are using a Header Cloud Template for your header section? If yes, please notice that you can edit the logo element with TD Composer and add every logo you want.

Thank you!

Hello !

Yes: https://www.screencast.com/t/RPqCteujCb ; You can try reinstalling the template. Go to cloud library – select template and install it. Go to your homepage and open tagdiv composer and select Header Manager, choose your template and you’re ready to edit it: https://www.screencast.com/t/Yke80sGuwJsP

If the problem persists please let me know !

Thank you !

Hi,

Many of the theme files are now in the tagDiv composer plugin, including the header template files. This has happened after the 9.7 update, here is an article about it
https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
So now the header files are here – http://prntscr.com/njd2d3
This also means these files can’t be modified in a child theme anymore, as it was possible before, only directly in the plugin.

Maybe you could use the header builder and a cloud header template to do what is needed. The header can now be built with the tagDiv composer
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
There are headers built by us that you can modify and use, or build your own using the header builder elements – http://prntscr.com/nfnapk
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
So adding a block in the header would be a matter of drag and drop. You could experiment with these cloud header templates, maybe it is possible to do what you want using them. Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks

OK, that works for getting the stylesheet link into the header, but how do you reference the font in the newspaper theme font section?

To answer my own question, looks like you just type in the font family name into the CUSTOM FONT FAMILY 1 box in the Custom Font area of the Theme interface.

Awesome, thank you for that!

Would you have any tips on where would be best to put Google Ad code for the header? Currently we have to re-add it each time.
<script async='async' src='https://www.googletagservices.com/tag/js/gpt.js'></script>
<script>
var googletag = googletag || {};
googletag.cmd = googletag.cmd || [];
</script>

<script>
googletag.cmd.push(function() {
googletag.defineSlot('/93790867/Buzzmobilemain', [300, 250], 'div-gpt-ad-1515519871457-0').addService(googletag.pubads());
googletag.pubads().enableSingleRequest();
googletag.enableServices();
});
</script>

<script>
googletag.cmd.push(function() {
googletag.defineSlot('/93790867/Mobile_Above_Article', [[300, 90], [300, 1050], [300, 100], [300, 250]], 'div-gpt-ad-1515520093503-0').addService(googletag.pubads());
googletag.pubads().enableSingleRequest();
googletag.enableServices();
});
</script>

<script>
googletag.cmd.push(function() {
googletag.defineSlot('/93790867/Mobile_end_of-article_unlimited', [300, 250], 'div-gpt-ad-1515520488301-0').addService(googletag.pubads());
googletag.pubads().enableSingleRequest();
googletag.enableServices();
});
</script>

<script>
googletag.cmd.push(function() {
googletag.defineSlot('\/93790867\/Mobileendofarticle', [ 300.0 ,
250.0 ], 'div-gpt-ad-1528991941740-0').addService(googletag.pubads());
googletag.pubads().enableSingleRequest();
googletag.enableServices();
});
</script>

Thank you for the help and great theme!

Hi,

How can I reduce the space between the category title and its description?
Example of a category page: https://www.coupdepoker.com/culture-poker/
https://ibb.co/jhwKhsy

Fyi, I’m already using this CSS:

.td-header-style-10 .td-logo-wrap-full {
min-height: 80px;
line-height: 80px;
}

.td-header-style-10 .td-logo-wrap-full .td-logo {
line-height: 80px;
}

.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 30px!Important;
}

.td-page-title{
text-align: center;
line-height: 45px;
padding: 30px 5% 50px;
letter-spacing: .02em;
}

.td_category_template_7 .td-category-title-holder{
padding: 30px 5% 50px;
}

Thanks

Hello,
is it somehow possible to add a header-template to a custom post type and custom taxonomies? Or to enable the full post settings for a CPT to give them another layout?

Hello,
I activated the “Drop menu items in More” option for a menu with many items in the header-editor of tagdiv-composer. But instead of showing a “more” item, it shows a strange and long string. Is this a bug?

Hello,
I noticed a problem loading the website.
When the page loads, other files are loaded first when the page is built. This problem is especially noticeable in the header and the font.

Please go to the following page and look at the header and the content font and color when loading the page.
>> https://wunschbeziehung.de
This is only visible in the first few miliseconds of the loading process. After that it changes to my own style.

How and where can I set that my style is loaded directly and not another style first?

If you don’t understand what I mean, I have added a screenshot (>> https://ibb.co/xFMHzpq) to the appendix. This shows what it looks like in the first miliseconds of the loading process.

I don’t understand why you’ve got a non-mobile logo showing on mobile in the footer. All you have to do is reuse the user-defined Mobile logo there. Or add a third mobile logo option for the mobile footer.

The problem is that I *do* want a black footer, but my logo has black lettering in it. So for the black header, on mobile, I created custom logos with white lettering for mobile.

But for some reason you’re using one of the non-mobile logos on the mobile footer. So it has black letters. Because it has to. Because it goes on a white background on desktop/web.

And now its invisible.

So now what?

Hello!

I can’t find the reasonw why Live CSS Editor is not working properly. The window is just blank and doesn’t even “convert” into a space for writing. I can see the header, the green button on the bottom, and also change the size of the window, but cannot write a single character. Could you please give me any advise?

Thank you in advance!

Sorry for the delay in reply! So I tried this…checked the source code and it’s showing my changes, but when I hit the search button or hit enter, it’s still searching WordPress. It’s very strange, it’s the same code i used before except I’m changing the core theme plugin files vs the child theme. I changed header-menu.php, header-menu-h1.php, header-menu-h2.php, and header-menu-2.php and nothing changes.

Hi,
I’m trying to update theme from 9.6.1 to 9.7.2 and the result is a blank page with only the top header bar.
Is this update possible? or is necessary update to 9.7 first?
If this is the case, is there a 9.7 download available?
I’ve followed the tutorials and updated by FTP, deleting de theme folder first, and updating de plugins next.
The live update delivers same result.

I’ve reverted to 9.6.1 and everything is working again.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

@azeemchowdhury
Now there would be no need for code modification. You can use cloud header templates
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
The logo element has an option to set a custom URL for it – http://prntscr.com/niq0o7

So you can import a cloud header template (and modify it) or build your own header
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Then set a custom URL for the logo.

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

You are using an older theme version, with the old AMP plugin, since theme update 9.6 this plugin is not provided anymore – http://prntscr.com/niojkx
The header when using the old AMP plugin will display the logo set in the theme panel
http://prntscr.com/niokz7
There will be no menu displayed in this case.

Now the official AMP plugin can be used, together with the mobile theme plugin
https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

If you want to have more control on menu you can use the header manager to make some more customization.

Thank you!

Simion C.

@sathana So you want the ad to not be displayed in the homepage, while in the rest of the website it should appear. One solution is to use a cloud header template in the homepage. Edit the homepage and load or create a cloud header template – http://prntscr.com/ninsf7
http://prntscr.com/ninskg
So you can create or load a cloud header template just in the homepage, what it contains is up to you. It will be displayed just in the homepage. With this functionality each page or template can use a different header, the possibilities are many.

@lpa_admin
I can’t say for sure if that will work for sure, if those files will change or not. It is true that the child theme has lost most of it’s usefulness, as it is currently limited to just a few files after the 9.7 update.
We will try to find a way of allowing files from the composer to be modified without doing it directly. If such a way is found we will create documentation for it.

Hi,

Quite unusual, the arrows seem to appear in the composer and also when the header is in sticky mode, but not in the default state.

Does it happen if you use a different header style? I could take a look at it, please post a link to the website if possible. Or send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login for a closer look.
If you send us an email, include a link to this topic in it. Let us know.

Thanks
