If you want to use a Blog version, you should setup from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QqJOV8ne and your homepage will display your posts by your latest. Also, if you like our Black version demo, you simply import it into your backend and your theme will be fitted to that layout.

I have inspected your website and I saw that you do not have a featured image setup for all of your post pages and that’s why you do not bring them at the homepage (page) when you are using some blocks to display your posts. Hi,

Only one demo can be active at a time. If you have installed the Gadgets demo, installing a different demo will uninstall the current one. If you are interested in the Smart app demo homepage, you can create such a page using the newly introduced multi-purpose elements in the tagDiv composer.

I have inspected the website, the homepage seems to be displayed at the moment on mobile

There are no problems form what I can see, with the homepage content. The same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile, if the optional mobile theme plugin is deactivated.
Only if this plugin is activated you will have to create the mobile pages using the mobile editor

If you want to add a simple link which only works on your homepage you simply try to add it from the panel, Menus section, Custom Link like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lDAiyUdPi and then, using a bit of CSS code you should hide it for the entire theme and block it only for homepage. Below, I gave you an example.

I have inspected your homepage and it seems that your featured images are working fine now as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/oGadSXyaayj but also, I saw that you have some errors on your console which might come from your untested plugins used by you which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Try to clear all of these and leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and check the results.

This has nothing to do with the articles. Installing the demo without content will import theme panel settings and custom design. If you install only settings from a demo, the custom design will apply to the homepage for example only if the same elements are used (same blocks, grids etc, same header and footer styles).

What you are describing sounds like a caching issue. Maybe you have a strong caching plugin or implementation installed. Or the hosting server could have a caching system.
That would be why this delay is present.

You could simply create two pages, a homepage and set that accordingly. Then create another page using the latest articles template. Set that in the menu for example as the blog page. This demo uses this solution
