Hi, I understand that I am very late in this particular issue, but I still use the previous version of VC builder Version 4.12.1. I didn’t update the VC plugin since the information was announced many month ago due to our website is still new and we were moving our hosting server back then, and frankly very busy with focusing on updating content.
Anyway, now I got issues with the old plugin since I think it didn’t work anymore as is should. I just checked in again on tagDIV forum, but when I visited the “Our new page builder is available on GitHub” topic, the post isn’t available, both for the instruction and the TAG home made plugin.
My related questions are:
1. Please advise on this matter.
2. What is the current plugin for page builder should I use? My plugin page give me notification for the new Virtual Composer update which is version: 5.0.1. but it should be downloade separately and install it back again. Or should I use tagDIV home made plugin? Where can I download the latest plugin.
3. In any plugin that I will use later on, do I have to remake my front page from the beginning or will it automaticly keep the current design that I use right now?
4. Please kindly to provide step by step on how to update the plugin since remaking my frontpage will take sometime?

After I install the demo content on my “secure” SSL site, the site is classified as “not secure” in every web browser I try (Chrome, Firefox). However, when looking at this same theme on EnvatoMarket the demo of this theme is “secure” in each browser.
This issue does not come up after I install the theme, it only shows up after I install the theme + the demo content.

Hi, i’ve did all you said but not worked :(, the panel is still with this bug; i tried to upload trought ftp the newspaper.zip (only the installation folder) and then got the error “stylesheet is missing”. The envato tutorial about that says to upload only the installation or upload trought WP panel what i’ve already did. Can you help in other way?
My website is using other theme now and I bought this for changing.

I was under the impression that only the Facebook ID was required to get the Facebook functionality to work. I watched the tutorials and that was the impression I was left with. The Pages are all Public and have been up for years and can be seen when the appropriate link is clicked-even when logged out of Facebook-demonstrating that they are public.
I have completely blown out the site a few times and each time the same result for anything related to Facebook. All other social platforms work perfectly.
I loaded a default demo fro NewsPaper, installed only the Two Plugins on the Theme Panel-Visual Composer and Social Counter- and still no joy.
Has there been an update to Facebook that broke the Social Counter plugin?
Install the main ‘theme’ zip file. not the ‘all files’ download.
Wise to LOOK inside zip files on your PC before loading them to your website, as general rule.

Hi,
It seems that due to some customization or by some other action, the html structure of the theme is broken. I would suggest to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check to see if the problem is still there. If that does not fix this, please try to make a fresh install using the latest version of the theme and the required plugins. I have inspected your website and I saw that you are not using the latest version of theme and also, you have some errors through your console, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vKiqCLWIiGl My advice, is to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and install only the required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet. Use only the tested plugins because the untested plugins can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues.

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are not using the latest version of the theme, you ar using the child theme and also, the required plugins are not updated, sorry! First of all, you should update your theme to the latest version of it which is 7.7, update the Visual Composer to 5.0.1, move the theme to the main theme, revert it to the default state, clear all your additional customizations, clear all your caches and check the results. Please keep in mind that the latest version of the theme is fully tested and compatible. Please make sure that you have right made your theme install via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Please notice that our theme is fully compatible with the Rev Slider and until now we do not have any bad reports in this regard. If you are using some untested plugins, you should disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. It is possible that your untested plugins to interact with your theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. This can be a reason in this regard. If the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, install only the plugins which come bundled with the theme packet and check the results.

Also, of the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and check the results. I have tested on my side and the Featured Image from Vidoe work as expected.

pls mind, I don’t have Mobile Theme installed, but loading site to mobile phone/tablet doesnot work at all.
Currently I have only TagDiv Default demo content on my site.
When deactivate WP Super Cache, loading site to mobile phone/tablet works OK.
What’s wrong with WP Super Cache ?

I recommend you doing a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflcitng pluigns. Hi,
That is the case if you choose to use the mobile theme, a choice made for increased performance. Like the guide explains you can use the theme without installing the mobile theme plugin, and it will display the same elements from your page on desktop on mobile devices.

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
If this does not fix it, you can try to reinstall the theme as a faulty theme install can also create such an error. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
