I am still not sure why the error occured. I have not changed the category settings since I installed the theme, and there was no background image to begin with, so I don’t understand why it suddently appeared, but the important thing is that I now know how to change it.

Hello,
No, deleting the plugin will not remove your pages. The pages themselves are kept in the database so removing the plugin has no effect on your content. You can delete it without issues and then install the new version.

I bought Newspaper 7 theme from Envato.com and I’m trying to activate it after installation but I get Envato API is down, what should I do as I need the website up and running like yesterday.
I’ve been using the News Magazine theme (from Newspaper 7) since Dec. 16. Yesterday it disappeared from my dashboard and the entire site defaulted to a standard WordPress theme.
What should I do? If I reinstall the theme, will I lose all design elements and settings that I customized?
I installed on of the demos and got a trouble – social counter appears at the homepage but i cant change facebook app key etc. like in the documentation tutorial. Because there is no tagDiv Social Counter in widgets and in visual composer. I can only change [td_block_social_counter custom_title=”Будь с нами” facebook=”22222/
when editing “News” page. But there is no opportunity to enter App ID

“tagdiv counter social” plugin doens’t work with facebook. Put “0 fan” and we have more than “30 fans” yet.
At first I thought the problem came from the facebook information entered in the plugin.
I have disabled all the plugin except Visual composer: same worries not the good number of facebook fans that appears.
So, I disabled the plugin “tagdiv counter social”. Reactivated all the plugin then Installed another social plugin then I tested this new plugin with the information entered in “tagdiv counter social” for facebook. Result: the new plugin shows me without concern the number of facebook fans.
Conclusion: this is therefore a priori not the information of facebook entered in “tagdiv counter social” which pose worries but well the plugin itself.
Do you have a solution of this issue ?
My version of “tagdiv counter social” is 4.1

After you downloaded – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ and unpacked the theme package, you should have a directory with these files – https://www.screencast.com/t/wztJbGCPai You must upload the Newspaper.zip archive because this is the theme file. Please try to update the theme to the latest version of it via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. If the problem is still there after update, please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at your website.

First of all, please ensure that you have made your theme installing via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ and here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Also, if the problem is still there, please check your backend of your website and check the Big Grid to be in full row, with layout 1/1. Clear all your caches and check the results. You can provide your website.

Please try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and purge cdn files if used, then check again. If this does not fix the problem, you could do a fresh install with the latest version using the ftp method – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ and install only the recommended plugins that come with the theme. Also make sure you use the latest Visual composer – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Please notice that all of your content will have to be loaded in your database. When you enable our theme, all of these will be recognize by the theme and WordPress, and all of these will have to be added to your website (pages/posts/categories). There should not be any problems with the WP Super Cache and the theme. I have inspected your site and I do not see any problems with the responsive theme at the moment – https://www.screencast.com/t/uf5eJwK3yf – https://www.screencast.com/t/yZvGtIeCY everything seems to display properly and the site loads fine. Here is a guide to help you configure the cache plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ You should also test this while having only the required theme plugins activated, maybe a plugin could be causing this.

As right now I’m using GZip Ninja Speed Compression and tagDiv Speed Booster to speedup site performance but ads are laying our of the front page, its been the issue since for long time, still it didnt soled please open any article and you will find the ads are moving out of the content body.. previously it was not there when I have installed or activated Speed Booster Pack and deactivated tagDiv Speed Booster, even Now I have deactivated all the boosting plugins and activated tagDiv Speed Booster but still the issue appears!

I can’t find the options shown in your screenshot. As far as I know there is no option to edit the front page of a WordPress blog, it just shows a list of the newest blog articles.
I want to place the slider on this front page (as you show it in your demo … that’s why I bought your theme), not on a single page I created.
[And it still confuses me, that the slider plugin is marked with “optional” and not “installed” (as described in my 2nd post).]
Any idea how we can solve the problem?

Installed the Newspaper theme in my wordpress. Then installed the tech news demo. After activating I went to the theme panel and changed the header style. Did Save Settings.
Opened a new browser window and browsed to the site. I am not seeing the changes made to the header style when I browse to the site.
What could I be doing wrong ? I cleared the local browser cache also.

I figured out the issue.
My WordPresss was installed on http://www.website.com rather than https://www.website.com.
Once I reinstalled WordPress on https://www.website.com all the security issues went away.
I did it! I began installing theme zip and then tried newspaper.tf.
The message I sent before was after installingzip and then tf file.
What do I do?
