I deactivated almost all plugins and I cannot get the double column articles on the front page to work.
I did install it to another clean site, and did not have this issue, but if there was a fix I would really appreciate it versus having to do a clean install again.
Here is a link to the image:
Thank you.
I can not find any rationality in your answers. Why should any user need to deactivate other plugin to solve your issue? Do you think that other plugins are not needed when your theme is installed?
I am already running version 6.6.4. Jetpack is used by millions of user, do you think you will ask all of them to disable plugin?
Also, I can not find any image with the link.
Please resolve this issue.
Hi,
I’m just wondering how to install the Travel theme. Can’t seem to find it.
Thanks,
Brandon
Hi Andrei L.
Huge thank you for prompt reply. After editing the file installation was brilliantly successful. Now look forward to getting into style and content.
Again many thanks

Hi
I’ve checked the link provided as example and noticed that this is a custom post type which most likely it’s generated by one of your installed plugins Our theme have implementation for custom post types and the sidebar should be displayed fine. This issue could be caused by the widgets tile. You need to use just standard letters on the titles. Any other symbol such as !, @, #, $, or – , _ or language specific characters, will cause the sidebar and the widget area to remove widgets and sidebars.
Also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and the one which generate the current post type, clear all caches and test again.
Hope this help.
Thanks!
Hi,
thanks for your time looking into this. I just bought the theme 2 days ago and have 2.3.5 – so that is not an issue. I even did a clean install elsewhere and checked it. Not working. Which setup (can you post a full screenshot?) did you use to test it?
We researched your theme _after_ deciding for this plugin so it is most likely we will just use buyer protection from facebook and return your theme while looking elsewhere if we can’t get this to work.
Cheers, Oliver
Sir, i have added
<IfModule mod_php5.c>
php_value max_input_vars 5000
php_value max_execution_time 300
php_value post_max_size 50M
php_value suhosin.post.max_vars 5000
php_value suhosin.request.max_vars 5000
</IfModule>
this in my .htaccess file in wordpress directory but still i am getting yellow signal in max_execution_time, max_input_vars, SUHOSIN Installed, suhosin.post.max_vars, suhosin.request.max_vars under the System status
how to fix ?
Hello,
The theme does not change anything by itself. Please specify what you did before this happened. Did you maybe install a plugin that is conflicting with the theme, or made a few custom modifications to the code, or maybe you forgot to logout and somebody pulled a prank or maybe you got hacked… The possibilities are huge. Please check your fonts settings in the theme panel and see if fonts are set or are they rewritten by a plugin. This should be the first clue to what the problem is. IF all fonts in the panel are set to default, this means that the css from the theme gets rewritten and you need to identify where it comes from.(you can try to disable all plugins except visual composer and check again.)
I checked your website and except for a the font, everything seems to be fine.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi
Note that the Speed Booster plugin disable itself when an incompatible plugin it’s installed. We added this measure to avoid conflicts with the plugins that won’t allow to move their CSS/js resources at page bottom. To keep it always activated comment or delete the indicated lines from td-speed-booster.php: http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh You can check this topic for more information about speed booster usage: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-questions/
Hope this help.
Thanks!

I guess it was some kind of glitch. Initially the theme didn’t get the columns like in your demo but when I removed and reinstalled the theme it worked fine. WordPress moves in mysterious ways sometimes 😉
Hello Woozoo,
Unfortunately, there is not a simple task to change the width of the image of this Visual Composer element. This is set it with the width of the theme, namely-1068 px. Our theme has not been designed to use another width and I do not recommend to change this because the layout of the site will be broken.
Another possibility for you would be to use Revolution Slider plugin, which it’s included in /plugins folder, to create a full-width slider: http://screencast.com/t/5KiwDmuQwj You can find the installation steps of the plugin in our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/ We have some demo sliders, in Newspaper-tf\demo_sliders folder, which you can use to became more familiar with plugins functionality: https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/ and also you can check plugin’s official documentation for more details regarding the features available: http://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/welcome-slider-revolution/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello there. I would be most grateful for assistance installing Newspaper Theme.
Have installed current version of WordPress.org files configured database and have WordPress running inside my xamp/htdocs/Newspaper folder.
However when I use the process to upload the Newspaper.zip file located inside the Newspaper-tf folder the following message is generated
The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
Hello gabrieljsosa,
This problem might be caused by conflicting plugins. Try to disable all of them, except Visual Composer and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. Also, please try to use in your sidebar title only the numbers and letters without any unknown symbols because in some cases these can cause this issue. If your problem is still there, please provide your URL website so I can further inspect the issue.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hi @Nick
Please make sure that you set up the cache plugin according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ also make sure that the ajax view counter is enabled; http://screencast.com/t/jUR9ovODS You can also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hello gunner05,
I’ve checked your website and I saw the problem with your logo on the mobile version. Please ensure that you have installed only the plugins that come bundled with our theme without others because this issue it might be caused by conflicting plugins. I suggest trying to use a normal ad, without AdSense and see if your problem is still there…it is possible that the problem come from Google Adsense. I have tested on my side and every ads seems to work as expected.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes after these afterward.
Thank you for the message!
Hi
Replace the code from tagdiv_theme.min.js file with this one: http://pastebin.com/iCbJb38p
Before making any changes please make sure that you do a full backup of your current theme installation and WordPress: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
Thanks!
Hi
We didn’t tested the WP Rocket plugin with the theme so it’s may be a chance to appear some issues with its usage. We recommend WP Super Cache as a cache plugin and you can find more details about its configuration with our theme in our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thanks!

Hello!
After installing the 2.3.5 update, I’m getting errors such as these on both the admin pages and the frontfacing site.
wp booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_block_1 is not set.
/home/cayenned/staging/1/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/wp_booster/td_api.php
And it lists just about every module there. I’ve been able to fix things in the past to get around such errors, but after patching my child theme files I can’t find the source of the problem.
Switching to the main theme is working, minus my child theme customizations, of course.
Is there something I can look for to fix this? Thank you!
thanks that fixed it. great job on the update!
it says this: v4.2 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: worker/init.php
im installing it fresh from the most recent download zip
Note that only you can optimize your own site/server — no theme can optimize problems with your site setup such as caching, time to live, image compression, gzip/deflate, external tools like Jetpack that slow things down. You will have problems with all complex themes unless you learn to make the optimzations needed BY YOU to speed up your site/server/hosting account setup. This is true of *all* WordPress installs, regardless of theme.
(I don’t work here; just been using WordPress for over 11 years …)
You might try testing one of your posts with GTMetrix.com which shows the better examples of the things you need to fix with examples.
Again — site optimization is theme independent!
Hello,
Ajax view count is not working well on my website.
It is calculating very small digits when I have big traffic.
I have more than 4000 views to this page:
http://screencast.com/t/zlOZTDJq5X
And counter showing just this:
http://screencast.com/t/I84JpjMn4sa
This is the URL of this page:
http://www.uspeh.club/2016-budet-neveroyatnim-godom-dlya-lvov/
I have installed WP Super Cache plugin on my website.
And nothing more special.
Please help to turn it to the work.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Nick
I do not want my readers to see views each post has on the website just beside the eye on every post. I read in one of the questions here that in order for the ‘Popular (last 7 days)’ to work well, ‘show view’ must also be enabled on the theme panel along with the ajax view count.
I have disabled the ‘show post views’ but left the ajax view count.
Will this affect the way ‘Popular (last 7 days)’ works ?
I do not have any cache plugin or jetpack installed which I also read here affects this feature. Kindly advise.
I’m using the latest theme update 2.3.5
And if disabling “show post views” affects Popular (last 7 days), then kindly provide me an alternative because I do not want the views I get on my posts to be a public information.
hello i have just installed this theme on my server..
and it looks very very poor
how to fix it ?
