haha, silly me….I don’t remember installing that plugin but I just uninstalled and that’s exactly what I needed. Thank you.

I have figured out that it does that for all posts without images. But this client does not use images so not sure what I am going to do.

It’s by default like this and does this on other installs as well. I am from today on 4 sites with Newspaper theme and another 2 coming this week and I suspect they will all have this problem.

REF setup
– clean WordPress install
– clean Newspaper theme install
– NO CDN network
– Cache cleared, completely cleared and tested on multiple browser.
– all plugins off (accept visual composer) no change
– FRESH new clean isntall of Newspaper Theme, no luck.

SO I am back to square 1 but will make do with the module/block that does not cause problems. It’s only BLOCK 21 with the error.

I have removed the widget first, then deactivated & deleted the plugin again, then reinstall it and activate and added the app id, security key again.

Now again it was not showing but after 1 day it was showing. But only the facebook likes, Google plus count is not working.

Lol. this is not newspaper. this is you site you have installed FAcebook social plugin. Disable this and go to comments and activate wordpress comments.

Note: you need to install cache plugin, it’s very important because your servers doesn’t working like a charm. Or optimize your server response times.

Tag div recommends we cache. It’s a free solution. I recommend you wp rocket, has a cost but it’s a magazine cache plugin and includes options like send files to footer.

Reduce server response time
You can check waterfall/timeline and see how your server is responding slowly. I check your source code and i cant find eneabled some cache plugin, Do you installed?
Only your server its making 4 seconds initial waiting time to start loading site resources. This cloud be dropped to 0.2 seconds if you activate Wp-cache or Zen Cache (free plugins)

To add to my earlier message. The name of the demo file graphic is banner.jpg. It is in the Media tab area of my WordPress installation. Since I can’t invoke the row settings page to change this file with one I want, I tried to alter the banner.jpg image file path in the media area by renaming an image I choose and putting it in the correct path renaming my file “banner.jpg”. But the theme won’t let me make these changes.

-On newspaper theme panel go to blocks and select what blocks will you use in your site design.
-Go to plugins and install force and regenerate thumbnails. Activate plugin and run it. (may can take a while, depending your images quantity ).
-Before finish you have now all your images cropped correctly.
-install some cache plugin like wp cache, config an run it.
-Install and activate Tagdiv booster and.

Now your site it’s fast like a bullet.

Thank you. Just deleted and re-installed Jetpack. Same problem. I now get the following error message: Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible

Perhaps
a) try updating theme via FTP vs through panel
b) install new clean copy of JetPack after fully deleting current JetPack folder
c) make sure site works before activating JetPack again

Not sure that helps, but that’s how I’d proceed.

Also note the 6.6.1 update only updated a single plugin, not whole theme, so if already at 6.6., be sure to check the changelog in the Newspaper-tf folder before doing updates.

I downloaded the theme last night, so whatever version is in there that is what I used to install everything. So not sure what is missing or what not bout out the box there is an error.

What I have done is setup a clone of the home page, just to show you.

BLOCK 21, via VISUAL COMPOSER, only thing I have done is install your theme on a clean install of wordpress and imported posts via export from old site and used themepanel to install plugins. NOTHING more NOTHING less.
