Hi,
What I can suggest is first to make a full backup for your website and database and after that to update the theme (also, you can try first on staging or sub-domain).
The theme should be updated via FTP, by replacing the old theme with the new one (replace not overwrite), in case that there are custom changes in the theme files, those will be lost. Also, the child theme should be disabled and the main theme should be used. The child theme should be replaced with the version found in the last package from the ThemeForest and the code form it should be updated to the new files structure.
After the theme is installed, please install the theme plugins: tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Standard Pack and the rest of the theme plugins that you had before the theme update (social counter, newsletter).

If you want, you can test other plugins and see which one provides the best results for you, but each must be tested to determine which options can be used without affecting the website layout or functionality.

Have you checked whether the theme plugins were updated or installed after the theme update?
Usually, similar issues occur when the theme plugins haven’t been updated, or not all of them were.
You can install or update them from Newspaper > Plugins.

The option is available on any demo, just make sure that the tagDiv Opt-in Builder is installed, because the option is added by that plugin.
Good day, I have tried several times, including reinstalling the demo content, but I can’t seem to change the logo in the Doctors Pro menu as well as the footer. I have tried all formats permitted, sizes, and resolutions, but I thought I saw them changed in the Theme Panel and in the WordPress (customise) backend (besides the footer).
It just refreshes itself in the preview and reverts to the default image or logo.
I am using the Newspaper default in one license, and in this case, Doctors Pro is the one with the issues; however, I can change the Newspaper default theme for the other site without any issues.
With regards to the body, how do I change the image on the homepage in Doctors Pro and in both Newspaper 12 default and Doctors Pro, how do I change the footer copyrights?

Try one more time with the check for update button, but this time check it using only tagDiv plugins and make sure that no cache and object cache is applied.

Make sure that after the theme is updated, all theme plugins that are now used are also installed and updated (can be installed/updated from Newspaper > plugins).

Ok, i was maybe a bit too strong in my reaction. I’ve reinstalled the complete website and installed the theme, warnings are gone. As this site is still in development mode i cannot provide you with these details, however, i start a new topic, because in the new version i’ve comment boxes count shown in SOME pictures of the grids i use…. they all show 0….

Unfortunately, without access, it will not be easy to check it. Maybe you can make a staging area where you cannot add articles? If this is not possible, maybe a screen record making the settings to try to recreate it on one of our installs.
What I can suggest is to test if you set the category to the same template as for the one focused on https://i.imgur.com/MnddYCH.png and see if the templates for articles are displaying.

When you see shortcodes on your website, it is because one of the plugins is not installed. Please go to Newspaper > plugins and install tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, and in case you had tagDiv Social counter or any other plugin installed, you can install them from there.

Yes, this can be done, the process is teh same as on a live host, just make sure that you have a connection to the internet so you can install teh demos and activate the theme.
