I am using newspaper Version 12 with default pro prebuilt website installed. I have customised the design and I am happy with the look and layout.

Now I would like to add an entertainment section to the site and I like the look and layout of Eastcoast Check Pro, but I cannot find templates for the pages in the cloud library.

How can I get the templates for Eastcoast Pro to add the entertainment section.

Hi there,

We have been using the NewsMag 5.21 Theme for the last 3 years with no issues. However, we have just bought the Newspaper 12 Theme today and after installing, every time we activate the theme it breaks the WordPress with “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” error. So we rename the Newspaper Theme to be bale to get back to WP Admin area with the old NewsMag5.21 theme.

I suspect having the same plugings from the same developer might be causing a theme/plugin conflict issue and might try to deactivate or delete some of the same plugings, but would want to see hear your suggestions as soon as possible.

I am completely in love with Newspaper. I installed it immediately on my dev in wpe and went to work after importing my site. It works really beautifully. I have figured out almost everything, reading a lot of the docs and on this forum and I have watched almost every youtube vid before I purchased last week.

I am moving over from Avada, I have had Avada since day one of their release but its not really for a news site. That is what brought me to Newspaper and all my people absolutely love it. 🙂

I am trying to figure out how in the world to change the top black menu header in Newspaper to red? In the TagDev it will only change the middle and leaves the ends still black, I found it in my stylesheet through Safari Inspect Element on my Mac and changed it…but that doesn’t really work once you reload LOL

Please tell me where to change this as I cant seem to find the place and black doesnt really match my site.

Hi. I searched the internet for answers, but found nothing that would help me.

On my website I add articles with photos. For some time, after clicking on them, the message “image # 1 cannot be loaded” has been displayed

The files install correctly in wordpress, the thumbnails work, and the links to them too. Nevertheless, the photo cannot be opened after clicking on it.

However, there is a critical input, namely a user review system, especially the current one that is very much needed for a news website/blog, namely a “user review system”.

With this user review system, Mobile & AMP plugins are increasingly being abandoned by developers. This feature is only available for regular tagdiv composer customizations and not available for Mobile & AMP plugins.

The idea of ​​the Mobile & AMP Plugin is great enough for me, by just installing it without setting the speed of the mobile website it can be like instant and the page score can reach 100 easily.

But the appearance and feature development for Mobile & AMP Plugins is not continued and the AMP mobile theme is now looking classic now and boring. When viewed by theme developers who are younger than their tagdiv their AMP appearance is more luxurious, feature-rich, and elegant. It doesn’t look boring to the reader.

Besides, it’s quite strange for me, this theme already has comment shortcodes in a single post but you guys made it again 1 for review? even though you can join it because it’s similar.

And I’m also a bit confused why the more important features for this news/blog theme such as table content, inline related, like post/reaction post don’t exist? why even make something creative that in my opinion is not very important for blogs/writers/writers.

That’s my impression for this version 12. Overall disappointing.

But I hope version 13 releases quickly and the standard features that should be in a news/blog theme will soon be available and then there will be other creative features that don’t bore visitors with a too classic look.

switching theme to newspaper from other theme alway create problems.
Hawaii.eu is the second website on which I install newspaper theme and it’s the second time I have problems.

basically the firs time I switch to newspaper there is no problem, than for example I activate the old theme (to copy css and other script) and then when I reactivate news paper the theme is broken.

I’ve noticed that when i try to use the search function on my website i’m not able to search trough my posts. It gives me a ‘no search results’ every time i try another search term. I’ve no idea what could be causing this i also don’t see error messages in the console (Google chrome inspector) and the plugins i have installed right now also don’t seem to be causing this to not work.
