Bettina, the infinite loading issue is back. To fix the problem that day, I cleared cache, deactivated and reactivated the plugin. But now it’s back.

I’m not sure what’s causing this. I do have W3 total cache installed. To be clear, when you asked me to disable the cache plugin, do you mean I shouldn’t use one with newspaper theme at all?

Disqus is one the most popular wordpress plugins so why haven’t you guys figured out how to implement Disqus with the theme across the entire platform. It seems to work okay with prebuilt post templates but Disqus does not work with the Cloud templates. I know you can install DCL and use the shortcode, which I did, but it breaks other pages.
Please, please find a way to make this work. I have to disable comments because I can’t use this plugin.

Several ours (3-4 ours) after the publication is made, the contents are finally displayed without been logged. This issue starts yesterday since 13:00 pm more or less. As you have recommended me, I’ve installed WP Super Cache plugin, but until now I haven’t any cache plugin installed in my site.
Hello thanks for your reply . The changes have now been updated without removing any plugins. I installed a few like the GDPR consent plugin and google analytics along with a few others . Do you suggest i still delete these plugins and download the one you suggested to avoid any future occurrences ?

Unfortunately, you can not use a category template for a tag template, also you can not change the template type.
What you can do is to build a tag template which can look similar like a category template, or you can install a tag template from cloud.

If you need Mobile Theme, then you should install the Mobile Theme plugin.
If you want a responsive version of your website which is looking similar like on desktop, then you need to deactivate Mobile Theme.
Also, you can create mobile pages and assign for your mobile version, so your mobile version will display a design how you built in mobile pages.
Better delete your cache(also from your browser) and see the results.

You have installed Mobile theme plugin. If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. If you need your mobile version to be displayed with almost same design like in desktop version, then better deactivate the plugin and see the results.

This problem can be from the cache plugin or could be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.

Also, what do you mean that no new posts appear on the mobile version? When you post an article does it not appear in the “Latest articles” block?

Few days ago, I raised an issue over mail & forum that tpcomposer isn’t functioning properly and gives an issue while editing the Posts, it shows outdated and gives an option to update (instlly/activate), but once we try to update it, it shows ‘failed’ in front of the feature we try to update. Hence, you have asked us to delete the plugin and manually install through evanto. Today, we did the same and tried updating tdcomposer, td social counter & td cloud library manually. I installed the homepage mobile template (Scuba) from the cloud library. It now shows in the header for editing with TagDiv composer. It pulls up for editing and allows me to edit. However, it is not showing “live” on the site when viewed on mobile device. I have also checked via Chrome dev tools under mobile view.
What am I missing to get this template live for my site? Thanks
Does the Newspaper theme take time to fully optimize? I used the ‘W3 Total Cache plugin and the plugin created an issue at WordPress skite health with missed schedule event. Now I use the ‘WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache’ plugin but it only shows 68% performance at GTmetrix.
One thing to mention, when I used W3 Total Cache plugin, the performance was 95%. However when I first activated the plugin, the performance was not 95%, it was 66-72% on GTmetrix. After 2 days, I say suddenly the performance increased to 95%. I downloaded the ‘WP Missed Schedule (The Original)’ plugin to solve the issue and instaled it. but it refuse to get activated due to the errors as follows:
*”Before activate plugin WP Missed Schedule please delete conflicting option: byrev_fixshedule_next_verify.”
*”To avoid conflicts please clean orphaned options not cleaned after deactivation or uninstallation of plugin: ByREV Fix Missed Schedule.”
If I could active this plugin, then I could use the ‘W3 Total Cache’ plugin. But now I tried every other optimizer but the performance is below 60% at GTmetrix. I followed your articles on ‘Get almost 100% performance on GTmetrix’, but with those optimizers, the performance does not get up to 65%.
Therefore I want to know, Will the performance increase afterward or not?

Hi, on my site I occasionally get an unknown popup asking users to sign up to my newsletter (and it says the admin has to complete this in the settings). Is this possibly being created by the Newspaper theme? I don’t have the newsletter plugin installed.

1.Is it necessary to always create a child theme? or in which cases do you have to create a child theme?
2. When I install Newspaper X and I do it without the content (demo), but with the structure, will I have no problems copying the structure and modifying it? or should I start everything from zero?
