I just bought Newspaper 9 but got this message when I tried to install:

We know that AMP ads are not like regular Ads, in fact our AMP Ads were working good enough until Version 9.5
9.5 was a disaster for Us, AMP plugin is already disabled, right know we are working on cleaning the DB, because our wp-options table has almost five million entries with transients and class names td_uid_1_5c82894a1a5a7_rand.
This install was working perfectly before 9.5

I’ve already try to uninstall all the non Tagdiv plugins. It doesn’t work anymore.

I recently purchased and installed the Newspaper theme with demo pages without demo content because this new theme is replacing an older theme I’ve been using for my site.
Although, upon following all steps for installation and set-up (I think), the front page only shows the logo, main menu and gallery posts from my old website. None of the current news posts or ad banners are showing on the front page.
I thought using a the demo template would make my current posts appear in the new design.
I’m just wondering if there is another step I need to complete to make all the front page posts from the previous theme appear on the front page of this new theme.

With TD Composer nearly all blocks/modules do work — except the “Recent Comments”. When I drag it somewhere in the page layout… there’s just the loading animation (and it’s infinite, I’ve waited for hours). All other elements I’ve tried do work like a charm.
Maybe it’s just a problem with my setup/installation. So I’d appreciate if you could provide me the right shortcodes (something like [td_block_1]) for the recent comments, so I can edit it by text.

So im gonna straight forward about this, i happened to install this theme to website which is using VPS which i dont really understand about. Now I am planning to uninstall the theme and install it to hosting which I familiar about. Can I do that? I mean is there will be problem occurred or can i use the same activation code? I will be install it on the same domain but different server, i would just go with shared hosting.

Quite unusual, I also have Yoast installed, but the composer editing buttons appear in both Gutenberg and the classic editor

Are you using the latest theme and plugins versions? This may happen if you use an older theme and latest WordPress for example.

My website went down for a few days after the latest Newspaper update, and had to hire a professional WordPress developer to help me resolve the issue since I had no access to WP Admin. Here is his reply (and my website is now working again):
“”” I was able to replicate the issue on my end. The issue was with the Plugin “tagDiv Multi-Purpose” and “ManageWP Worker”. I have installed and activated the fresh files of the Plugin “ManageWP Worker” and deactivate the Plugin “tagDiv Multi-Purpose” to fix the issue. Now your site is loading on my end, without any issue. “””
Can Admin verify this issue exists? Or is it only for me?

I confirmed that I am not using a demo version of the theme; thank you for your screenshot. I noticed in that same section it gives a message that says, “Please install and activate the tagDiv Composer plugin – Our plugin is required for this theme to work best.” That would not have anything to do with successfully updating my theme correct? I can’t imagine that it would, but want to be thorough and ask.
I don’t necessarily need an automatic update or notice.
But what I desperately want is an EASY way to do this, that doesn’t create these same issues that I mentioned in this thread from 12/26/18:
“But upon new theme installation, certain homepage content was missing and I’d like to know why/how to avoid in the future:
– Site identity switched to blog from static front page
– Title tag and meta description removed
– Content blocks deleted
– Footer deleted”
Of the multiple ways to update the theme that you sent the link to, what is the preferred method?
Why does this have to be manual every time? Why doesn’t this theme update like every other theme I have encountered or worked with?

Hey I have a few extra plugins installed such as a cookie concent and a tool for zoomig images. But neither of them are working, like they are not even installed. I think it has something with the thme bloking some JS…maybe?

I have last version of Newspaper 9.6.1 and working with any problem.
But from yesterday I have a problem when uploading images to post and/or gallery. I have not installed any plugin or any component so I don not know where from the problem comes. Some image upload but some other don’t. Maximum upload sizde is 8 MB and any image is higher than 3.
I receive this message: “The response is not a valid JSON response”

I have any plugin instaled.
If I deactivate Newspaper Theme and activate another one … images upload correctly. But again appears the problem when activate Newspaper Theme again.

Hello,
Google Page Speed Insights showed a pretty bad score (3 for mobile around 30 for desktop) after I’d installed and configured the Cache plugin, as per your tutorial. I made some server-side/hosting optimizations and was able to to increase the score to 45 mobile / 72 desktop.
Apart from setting up the mobile theme + AMP pages, is there anything else I can do to score above average on desktop and mobile?

Notice that the multisite is just a WordPress functionality and it can be done in a lot of ways. For more information about this implementation, please check here -> https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-install-and-setup-wordpress-multisite-network/ If you want to achieve another structure of the theme, notice that you need to do it yourself because the theme does not have any such an option for this. Also, if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
