Hi,
Uninstalling or switching the demos will remove all the demo related elements, of the previously installed demo. It will remove imported theme panel settings, custom design and dummy content. This is mentioned here in the documentation
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Only one demo can be installed at a time, there are no options to mix demos or have multiple demos installed at the same time.
Thanks
I purchased, installed and configured the theme today on my website https://listalegal.com/consulta/
but I noticed very often when I open the website the images don’t show and I have to refresh the page for them to load. How can that be fixed?
Also on the installation folder there is a sub folder called patch_8.5_8.5.1 but I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with it.
Regards
Solved! Regenerate plugin works few minutes ago. After regenerate the images, can I remove Regenerate or I have to keep installed? Tks!
Hi Catalin,
no, this doesn’t help. Deactivating all plugins + reinstallation = problem persists. It seems some options are persistant even when the theme is reinstalled.
Pls help.
Thanks!
After unsuccessfully trying several solutions I reinstalled the Newspaper theme and demo.
This resolved the save button issue – the save button re-appeared and worked fine.
Hello,
I’m looking for help about thumbnails on blocks. On my home page, the image dont’t use all the space on the block. My website is https://conexaofreelancer.com.br

I tried to use this guide (https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/), but the Regenarate Plugin doesn’t work. When I installed Jetpack plugin the problemm was solved, but I read this plugin could slow down my site.
How can I resolve this? Jetpack is a good option or not?
Thanks! 🙂
Hi,
yesterday I installed the Newspaper-theme in WordPress (4.9.1) and chose the demo “Travel Blog” and adapted it for my content today. I have some problems now, that I can not solve of myself.
1. I have switched all text colors to dark gray (#434242) under theme panel/theme color. However, some texts remain in black – for example on the homepage the headlines of the current posts.
2. Some headings of the default sidebar (for example in the widget adbox) are not left-aligned. Instead, the headings are in the middle. How can I adjust this uniformly?
3. In the footer the headlines of the widgets are slightly indented and do not start flush with the text. How can I correct this?
If necessary, I can provide screenshots. I am looking forward to a quick response.
Best regards, Alex
Done (without GD library installation because it’s too hard for me).
At this moment images in blocks seem to be perfect. Thank you.
But in header menu image I had problems: for example Demo Default Newspaper, header menu, Fashion (and featured images).
I had problems because I would use factories logoes as featured images. I resized original logoes to 5cmx4cm, obviously I lose original logoes proportions. How can I do?
hi, how do I install the child theme? i can’t find it in the zip folder anywhere..
Hey there,
If I want to re-design some pages of the site on another (development) server [with a duplicate installation of my site] is there a way to export the page or at least the visual composer layout and then import it into my live site?
Thanks
Killian
Hi
i’ve installed the theme 8.5, both tagdiv and visual bakery composer, but i cannot succeed in designing the HP using block. If I try to include a block that display the articles horizontally – on 2 or tre columns – in a full row of part of a row (2/3, or 1/3) i get as a result as much as one article per row. See screnshot below.
what am i doing wrong?
(i’ve worked with this template on another webiste with the 8.0 version and visual composer: all went flawless)

Hello AniaOkuKo,
Make sure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. Check your system status to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello. Tell me, please, how can I install this demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_dentist/
Hi,
All the demos contain custom design, an additional stylesheet will be imported when you install a demo. You could customize the demo colors if needed. This is where the stylesheet is located
– https://www.screencast.com/t/b5UMN0O4
So you could make customization in the demo stylesheet, for the elements you want.
Thanks
Hi,
First of all, thanks for all your quick answers.
As I was getting crazy so I made a clean installation of the template on a develop enviroment and as Catalin said it worked properly…
So I could solve it disabling another SEO Plugin we had, cleaning the chache, and I had to delete some inserctions that the old SEO Plugin left written on the site… last point was the one wich was making Yoast interfere with the template.
Regards,
Hello godfatherblog
I have inspected your website and I did not saw any flash regarding on your title posts from your blocks. It seems to work as expected. If the problem will reappear, I suggest you make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest theme method and also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them and leave just only the plugins that come bundled with the theme’s packet.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello panchayatitimes,
Ensure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way because this is the surest theme method in this case. Then, you should check your plugin’s list and if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them and leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core file to rule out any conflicting plugins.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
There were some issue with the multi-purpose plugin in update 8.5, however these were fixed in version 8.5.1 of the theme. We have not had any other similar issues like this, since the mentioned update.
If you have the latest them version try deactivating and removing the tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugins. Install them again from the latest package. If you already tried this, and you have no additional plugins that could create issues, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. We will take a look.
Thanks
Hello,
If a social plugin as well does not work, then it;s a problem from your install and not the theme. Please try to disable all plugins except the page builder and clear all caching to see if there is no plugin conflict affecting the social sharing. Also please check your firewall, file permissions, memory allocation.
Thanks.
Hi,
@sestrik Visual composer will receive updates when the theme is updated. The latest version at that moment will be included in the theme package. When this happens, deactivate and remove your current Visual composer and install the new one
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thanks
Hi I have the same problem for featured video. I followed all the instruction on https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/ (format video, Post style 11) but when I click “upload” I don’t see the generated preview image on featured image. I bought and installed the “Newspaper” theme yesterday and I only installed the plugins that came with the theme. The preview seems to work on the post page but not on the front page. I’m using the “video news” demo and my links are from youtube.
Hey,
I’ve just installed the Mobile Theme and am running into this current issue of a 500 error on mobile only. I’ve deactivated all plugins that I can. Others I cannot because it is either managed by WordPress or I’m afraid deactivating the other plugins for fear of losing all data associated. Newspaper theme is currently updated via Envato Market plugin and sitting at version 8.5.1. Cache was cleared, then those caching plugins deactivated. Deleted and reinstalled mobile-theme plugin. Same 500 error and what’s weird is that it’s only occasional.
I also cannot update via FTP as we have WordPress hosting and they do not allow back-end access.
Anything else I can try?
Thanks for your time,
-TW

tagdiv composer’s interface is all scrambeled when editing rows, i dont have any extra css or plugins in place that would be affecting this. I noticed this since updating to latest version of newspaper and installing the new multipurpose addon.
I also tried adding a child theme and is not recognizing it. Please help
After Installing the ‘Newspaper’ theme, every posts of my WP-Site is showing this Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /home/shamprot/public_html/shahitya.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_module.php on line 155, just below the title of the post. Now what to do to fix this?
here is the file that works perfectly – if you do not use buddypress.
