Hi,

That is pretty strange indeed. It could be the Pagespeed module that is enabled on the server that is causing the errors, since you ruled out any conflicting plugins and no other modifications were made to the freshly installed theme.
I don’t know how that system works, you could try if possible to test without it and see if there still are errors present.

Thanks

Hi,

Your website could be infected with malware, if that is what Google says. A suggestion would be to deactivate all plugins except the ones provided with the theme, clear any caching installed and then check in the website source if the script is still loaded. You can try the advice from here as well
http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-scan-your-wordpress-site-for-potentially-malicious-code/
More useful information here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/malware-infection-redirects/
You can try a theme reinstall using the latest version, and also update the provided plugins. WordPress should be updated to date as well.

Thanks

Hello,

This is just a test installation as a kind of a reinstall since the same error appears on our live site. What I just figured out, after you told that you can’t see any issues, I only see this errors because I’m logged in. When I log out, no error message, as soon as I log in, its back. Pretty strange. See here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vbw56jnpefaq0jr/Error%20when%20logged%20in.PNG?dl=0

Hi,

At the moment there are no errors in the console from what I can tell
https://www.screencast.com/t/dpahVjhhBCXe
Please make sure that you are using the tagDiv composer on new pages. Do not edit previously created pages in Visual composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
You could also try a fresh theme reinstall by FTP
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Thanks

Hello mpozesny,

Do you have removed all of them? Try to reinstall your demo (with content) and check the results. Also, provide your website so I can identify it.

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

If you do not want to install the default demo which can bring the page itself into your install, you can replicate it in the tagdiv composer. please use this guide to learn how you can add or remove elements from your pages using our builder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Thank you!

Hello Inma,

Unfortunately, the W3 Total Cache not working as properly with our theme, sorry! Our tested caching plugin is WP Super Cache and if you want to achieve best theme results you should use it, according to with our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello thisisanfield,

First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest theme version, installed via FTP way. Also, if you are using some untested plugins which might interact with the theme core files, you should remove all of them, leave just only the required plugins to be active and check the results.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

The message should not be displayed if you removed it here
https://www.screencast.com/t/wRcj94sjbmN
https://www.screencast.com/t/HEnp2eWxx
After you removed it that text will not be displayed, that is where it originates from.
Try clearing any caching installed after you make the modification in that file, maybe that will refresh the data.

Thanks

Hello, I’m using Newspaper 8, I installed the “Business” Demo and I noticed that the News Ticker widget doesn’t have the top line (1 pixel top border) in my website, while in the demo site it does.

For example, Demo website:
Demo website
My website:
My website

I also noticed that 404 error page has an issue with an element header (this is in the demo website as well as in mine):
404 page issue

You might have to recreate that as photo licenses generally not included with themes, nor are fonts. So a copy of that PSD on layers would not have the font, as you would need to have the font installed on your PC. Probably simpler to recreate that with a royalty free licensed image for $10 and use a comparable Google font or similar to make your own?

( I don’t work here. )

Hello efstraatios,

Please keep in mind that you must have only one-page builder installed on your side. Also, you cannot edit the page with TD Composer if the page was created with VC. For more information about the transition between these page builders, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/

Thanks for the message!

Hello Fredrik,

It is okay if your GD library is installed on your server. I have mentioned it because some of the servers do not have installed this library.

Thanks.

Hi,

If it worked in the previous version it should work in the latest one as well. There is no need to activate Visual composer, it is provided pre-activated in the theme package.
In the previous update the new tagDiv composer was introduced
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More options and features will be made available only for this front-end editor
https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
If you do not want to use the tagDiv composer for your pages, try deactivating it form the plugins section. It is activated by default when you update the theme.
If the issue is still present, also deactivate all your other plugins except Visual composer and clear any installed cache. Then test again.

Thanks

Hi,

That is basically what needs to be done to install the theme by FTP. Manually place the theme folder as specified in the guide, in the themes directory. You could make a back-up before, just to be safe. This step is recommended before updating
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Please let us know if you still have problems activating the theme after the reinstall.

Thanks

Hello Fredrik,

Check your CPanel and also take note of the requirement for the server side and see if the mentioned GD library is installed on the server.

Thanks for your message!

Hello,
i have a online site and i configure theme in another “local” site.
Then when I finished I would like to enter the saved settings in the online site.
The procedure is this?

Offline (local) configuration site
Install Theme
Install Plugin
Install My favorite Demos with your utility
Configure site with my category etc.
Finish, export my setting from Theme Panel

My online site
Install Theme
Install Plugin
Import setting from file

This is a procedure?

Thanks

Hi,

You could try to reinstall the theme by FTP and then try the activation again
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
If you still cannot activate it, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.

Thanks

Hi,

1. The latest theme update featured the introductions of the new front-end page editor, the tagDiv composer. This editor is activated by default at the moment you update the theme. If you are using Visual composer, please go to your plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer. Then check the functionality of the image box again.
More information about the new editor here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/

2. If the plugin is not displayed in the plugins section, the it is added differently. Maybe you inserted code or shortcode in the theme files, or the theme panel custom code sections.

3. If you want to display an image in the ads section you can do it like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/NNzw0ldFz
If you have tried this and the image is not displayed, it could be a caching problem. Try clearing any caching installed then check again.

4. Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the mentioned parameters in this guide, if necessary
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
This could be the reason for slow loading and other issues, like settings not saving properly.
The theme is tested and works properly with the Visual composer editor provided in the theme package. This does not require any activation, I could not help you with the activation of a purchased Visual composer issue.

Thanks

Hi,

I have tested the method and it is still working properly. Maybe you are not making all the steps required. First paste the code provided by Bogdan in his last reply, in the td_module_single.php file. There you will see as specified in the topic, that there are 2 sections. Post sharing top section
https://www.screencast.com/t/u5CwkINb1u
And lower in the same file, Post sharing bottom section
https://www.screencast.com/t/7ufxi4Km
After you enter the code for the section you want or both of them, you must enter this code in Theme panel->Custom Css
https://www.screencast.com/t/qcFiDeb2LwG

.td-social-linkedin {
margin-left:8px;
background-color: #006699!important;
}

Also please make sure to have the Font awesome 4 menus installed and activated.
If it does not appear, try clearing the cache. But the method is tested and works, if you follow the steps exactly as they are mentioned.

Thanks

Hi,

You could try to manually upload the tagDiv composer editor in the plugins folder. Simply unzip the plugin and upload it to the plugins folder in your wordpress installation by FTP.
You can find more useful related information in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/visual-composer-does-not-have-valid-header/
Please let us know if you still have problems installing the tagDiv composer.

Thanks
