We recommend you to firstly create a full backup of your website. Your content should not be affected by the instalation of a demo. After installing the demo you will be able to set the filters of the blocks using tagDiv Composer as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/YGATfyrcuuA

This is disposable as a demo and we’ll add the cloud template in tagDiv Cloud Library as soon as possible.
When you use a demo the current settings for the one that you have will be lost -> https://i.imgur.com/vOcoYID.png, when you use only cloud templates then the settings will remain.

I think that you have installed a demo with content, is very possible that the demo you are using to be from 2016, for example the Gadgets demo has articles that mentions 2017 -> https://i.imgur.com/1KoZeLh.jpg -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_gadgets/

We recommend to use your own content, the one from our demos is just to see how the demo will look like.

Let’s say that you want to make a new menu and to set it in your website, for this you need to go in Appearance > Menus there you can select to edit an existent menu or to create a new one -> https://i.imgur.com/6QgN3yV.png after that you need to add elements in your menu. Now you can set pages -> https://i.imgur.com/d6V71yt.png if you want you can set posts -> https://i.imgur.com/Fo2uD7u.png or if you want to have a menu with sub-menus you can use a custom link (for this you can set the link to other website, your website, any link that you want, or you can let it blank)-> https://i.imgur.com/rzJyJKK.png and finally you can set categories (just make sure that you have posts for the category you select) -> https://i.imgur.com/PEdCR02.png now these categories can be transform in mega menus -> https://i.imgur.com/AP1JzaJ.png

There is no problem in installing a demo with content. But please note that you will need to create your own pages / menus / categories, etc. If you rename one category that the demo installed, when you will be uninstalling a demo, that category will be removed. So please be careful with that.

Please do not use WPBakery with tagDiv Cloud Library, this will not work correctly. Please deactivate WPBakery and import some demos from tagDiv cloud Library -> https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/ or install a pro demo.

You can use WPBakery only with tagDiv Composer without tagDiv Cloud Library.
