Hi,
I would like to remove the background image (or change it) on the mobile menu. Can you help? If it needs hard coding can you tell me where to change it?
Sorry but for the moment we have no plans on implementing a different mobile menu. If this request becomes more popular, we will try to implement a few options for it, but for the time being, there is no plan in motion.
Thank you for understanding.
If you want the logo bigger, try this code:
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap-full, .td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap, .td-header-wrap .td-header-main-menu, #td-header-menu {
height: 100px !important;
}
#td-top-mobile-toggle,
.header-search-wrap {
top: 23px;
}
.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height:100px;
}
.td-header-menu-wrap.td-affix {
transform: translate3d(0px, 0px, 0px)!important;
}
.td-header-style-6 .td-main-menu-logo img{
max-height: 100px;
}
}
Thank you!
Hello Ryansmccain,
Sorry but the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to change the menu icon from your mobile version, sorry! You should do it yourself through the code because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Jair Prandi,
Please understand that the main functionality of AMP plugin is to display the posts very quickly on the Google’s eye. Basically, when a client in on AMP version, he is not on your website (that’s why your visits were falling down more and more ) and the main goal is to redirect it to your own website. The AMP will have to be viewed as a preview to the posts pages of your website which are delivered by the Google AMP Cache. This is a proxy-based content delivery network for delivering all valid AMP documents. It fetches AMP HTML pages, caches them, and improves page performance automatically. For more information about this case and to better understand the operating system for this plug-in, please check the following useful manual from here -> https://www.searchenginejournal.com/difference-accelerated-mobile-pages-amp-mobile-friendly-pages/172967/
As a very good example, please check the official page of Seo Yoast and there you will see that they have not implemented the menu bar on AMP pages, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/OfzMGTLPQk
For more references and for a better understanding of AMP functionality please read the plugin documentation!!!
Thanks for your understanding!
Can I edit the look and feel of the mobile menu that pops up from the left? Right now it’s very basic.
That is because the mobile menu is in a different par of the code. And if you use the mobile theme plugin, it will be in a different file as well.
if no mobile theme plugin is used: https://www.screencast.com/t/DqUQh1NyCxyr
if you use the mobile theme plugin: https://www.screencast.com/t/z2q6wOp2O
Thank you!
Thanks.
Hello,
This does not happen on our demo though:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
When I set a transparent background on my end, there is no spacing on the right. all of the content backs up a bit to make room for the mobile menu: https://www.screencast.com/t/XNBYLBVHvDe2
Thank you!
I have tagdiv amp enabled and I cannot seem to edit the appearance of the for menu for mobile screens. The foot menu style i chose displays social icons. However it is all distorted. How do i fix this?
We created a mobile app using webview but we are having an issue with the menu header.
The header disappears until scrolling has stopped completely.
How can i change the behaviour of the header that it will always stay sticky in the webview app ?
As I mentioned that is not possible with the current functionality of the theme mobile menu. Not all themes have the same design and implementation, each is different.
That example you provided was meant to display the mobile menu like that, the Newspaper theme has a different mobile menu.
I want to remove mobile menu and choose the three main categories as main menu on desktop and mobile.
No hamburger, no modal and so on.
Regards
Hi,
That is how the menu is displayed on mobile by the theme. Once the hamburger menu icon is clicked a modal will appear displaying the menu, socials and login. Same for the search, with a modal window.
Something like that would not be possible based on the current mobile menu implementation.
Hi,
I want to remove hamburger menu on mobile theme and show it under website logo (on mobile menu).
My main menu has got only 3 buttons, so it can be shown in full on mobile template.
How can I do that.
Hi,
@kame Try something like this, see if it works properly for you
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xIdNFlH2Ut
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bmERGGn8byH
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap-full, .td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap, .td-header-wrap .td-header-main-menu, #td-header-menu {
height: 100px !important;
}
#td-top-mobile-toggle,
.header-search-wrap {
top: 23px;
}
.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height:100px;
}
.td-header-main-menu.td-affix {
transform: translate3d(0px, 0px, 0px)!important;
}
.td-mobile-logo.td-sticky-mobile img{
max-height: 70px !important;
}}
Thanks
Hello,
If you use the mobile theme plugin, then you can select a separate menu for mobile devices. If not, then the desktop menu will be shown without the mega menu sub-menus however.
Thank you!
Hi,
Do you mean the top bar? The theme displays social icons in the top bar or footer section.
The mobile theme plugin is optional, so you can choose not to use it, use the default responsive version instead. The socials that are displayed in the mobile menu will be the same, the ones you enter links to in the theme networks section

Any ideas?
thanks
My theme mobile in demo mode just has trending and article news
how can i make theme mobile menus like on PC?
help me please
Thanks for the response Simion. I actually wanted to try and change the social media buttons on the toolbar. Is that possible?
Also, I’m having another problem with the social buttons on my mobile menu. After I disabled TagDig Mobile Theme plugin, I only see the Facebook logo and no other social media buttons. Do you know how to fix that? Thanks.
Hello guys,
our website 24ora.com works completely fine on desktop .. but we are having a lot of issues with mobile.
For example:
– Slider is not working correctly
– menu & search button is not clickable
– We are also having some ads issues.
We have updated to the latest version 8.7.2 but it didn’t help. We also tried the mobile theme and still the menu button or search button is not clickable
Hi,
The mobile heme plugin is optional, you can choose not to install. There seems to be a problem with the slider on your website, it is not functioning properly, and there are errors in the page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/U8PP4UBgEL8O
The slider works fine on mobile as it can be seen in the live theme demo which uses theme version 8.7
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/
So the issue could be caused by a plugin you have installed conflicting with the theme (since the menu and search functions are also not working on your website) or maybe code you entered in theme panel sections or theme files. Please check if that is the case and let us know. Deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, temporarily remove custom code and theme modifications.
Thanks
Hi,
1. The same menu from desktop will be displayed on mobile, you can use a different mobile menu only when the mobile theme plugin is activated
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Or maybe hide the menu item on desktop like mentioned in this topic, if you should consider this a solution
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-top-bar-for-mobile/
2. You could try the solution for this topic to hide the social in the mobile menu
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-hidechange-mobile-menu-ikon/
Thanks
My main mobile menu works for everything but the About and Disclosure, which are I tested as both pages and custom links. The footer mobile menu does not allow either to work, as well. However, “home” which is also a page, does work.
In both cases when I click on About, it brings up a page that says “about” and that’s it. It’s the same type of thing for disclosure, too.
These work on the desktop.
However, when I look at the posts section of the dashboard (while mobile editing – I don’t usually mobile edit but I’m trying to solve this frustrating issue) and I click on “preview” THE SAME EXACT ISSUE happens, where it will say either About or Disclosure, respectively.
Now, I’ve spent hours reading about this and I have tried deactivating plug-in and etc. Nothing to this point has worked.
Please advise.
