Hi,
@epictutorials
Yes, we have fixed this so it shouldn’t happen anymore. Please make sure your empty cache and also purge files if you use any CDN plugins as this is delivering the old file version.
Thanks
Hello after updating to version 4.5 because of mobile issues seen in this forum I now am having multiple issues:
Our taboola ads are not showing up. This is the code I had in previous loop-single.php and it worked great:
<div id="taboola-below-article-thumbnails"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
window._taboola = window._taboola || [];
_taboola.push({
mode: 'thumbnails-a',
container: 'taboola-below-article-thumbnails',
placement: 'Below Article Thumbnails',
target_type: 'mix'
});
</script>
<div id="taboola-below-article-text-links"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
window._taboola = window._taboola || [];
_taboola.push({
mode: 'hybrid-text-links-a',
container: 'taboola-below-article-text-links',
placement: 'Below Article Text Links',
target_type: 'mix'
});
</script>
Also the menu doesn’t snap to the top despite the option clicked. The menu words now have an annoying blue bar under it when mouse over, and the menu still doesn’t work on mobile. Thanks for your help.
Was this fixed as I just applied the 4.5 update and it has ruined my mobile version which now displays the wrong icons in the menu: http://epictutorials.com
It works fine on desktop version.
Thanks for your help

Hi
url: http://epictutorials.com
Since updating to 4.5 the web version has the wrong icons for the menu bar as pictured: http://www.screencast.com/t/Q7Cyf4dB1B3r
Also the slider no longer works: http://www.screencast.com/t/QfezjjrC6k
Could you help me fix this please?
Thanks
Hi there,
I have two issues with my site currently.
If you look at my test site here.
http://www.vitalstrengthblog.com.au/webdev/how-to-get-abs-top-6-ab-exercise-mistakes/
1) I have inserted small number images for each point. They look fine on desktop, but when viewed on mobile, they expand and fill the screen. I tried modal on and off, but I can’t seem to fix this. My site has so many if these images and I need a easy solution to lock these images to size. Is there a solution ?
2) I want use the default header style (logo + ad) + menu, as I want the mobile version of the logo to appear on mobile devices. But I need to push down the header space, so you can see my background ad. If I use a transparent image it doest work, if I use an image bigger than 100 px in height it pushes the page content area down or it doesn’t appear at all and the header alignment fix is not doing anything (in theme panel). If I use header style 3, with a transparent image of 240px (perfect height i need) it works, but i get massive clickable area on mobile devices that goes back to home page URL (not good) and i lose the mobile logo on the banner.
I have tried your custom css for inserting a background image in the boxed layout, in theme panel, but that doesn’t do anything with linking my 240px height x 2px wide transparent png. Please note I don’t want a logo on desktop, I need transparent space, bigger than 100px high using style 1.
Thanks for your help.
hi,
If you mean that you want to show the mobile menu on tablet screens if the menu doesn’t fit on one line unfortunately that is not possible.
What you can do is to style the menu via css and make the menu font smaller or use smaller names for your menu items.
Thanks
hi,
i have 9 items in the main menu bar, and in desktop view or mobile the menu working good, but in ipad landscape view the main menu split in 2 lines…
how can fix that problem?
i need if the screen width is smaller from my menu the menu change to mobile view id this is possible
thanx
Hey Lucian,
When using header style 3 I would expect the desktop logo not to be shown on a mobile phone and the mobile logo to be shown in the mobile menu bar.
This does not happen, works fine with style 1 on mobile just not style 3.
Thanks
Craig
Hi,
I’m not sure I understand, when using the header style 3 on mobile the desktop logo will be placed in the menu bar on mobile devices, more exactly the mobile logo will not be displayed when using header style 3 and 6.
If this is not what you wanna point out please let me know and provide more details about this and your site’s URL so I can check this.
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile icon itâs set to show up using js on click, some plugins may conflict with this and as a result this issue appears.
Unfortunately your CDN plugin may cause this as ut;s delivers cached files so please make sure you also empty cache and purge files.
Deactivate speed booster also, this may cause something like this also when used in conjunction with other plugins.
Thanks
Hi,
I have checked your site and seems like this happens on all mobile devices and this is because you use the header style 3 with the classic blog stack. Please use this custom css to fix this: http://screencast.com/t/WKT0vHkRs1r or change the header style to use the full width text logo.
@media (max-width: 767px){
.blog-stack .td-menu-wrap #td-top-menu {
display: none;
}
#td-top-search{
right: -20px!important;
top: 3px !important;
}
.td-menu-header .span11 {
width: 85%;
display: inline-block;
}
}
Thanks
Using 4.4. When using header style 3
Mobile phones using the mobile menu incorrectly use the desktop logo above the header which looks wrong and not the mobile logo inside the mobile menu header.
Please advise thanks
Hello again,
yesterday i updated to newspaper v.4.5., i don’t know if the bug was already in v.4.4 but now the menu on a iphone5 looks like that:
http://mobiletest.me/iphone_5_emulator/#u=http://histaminentzug.de/
the menu entries appear on the posts and step out of the actual menu
i am using the classic blog css style, maybe it’s because of that?
i tried already all versions of the menu (normal,sticky,…) with no success đ
my website: http://www.histaminentzug.de
Thank you!
I uploaded our logo using header 8 and it is not fitting on the menu. The correct sizes have been uploaded. The mobile version works perfectly. This problem is only on the desktop view.
Hi,
Please make sure you update the theme right: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/
Also please make sure you do not have any js errors in the console also empty all cache/purge files and try again. This should work fine.
Also check this without any plugins active.
If nothing works please send an e-mail at contact@tagdiv.com and give us wp-access so we can check this.
Regarding the mobile menu the improvements made to it are related to it’s functionality and not its look, note that it has been completely rewritten.
Thanks

Hi,
Yes, you recall well, unfortunately the “Menu Swipe” on mobile feature it’s no longer available, we have removed it since theme version 3.6.
Thanks for the message1
Hello,
If I remember correctly then you had an option of ‘Swipe to Menu’ have you removed it? I can’t find it anywhere.
Hi,
I’m not sure what are trying to do, the mobile menu it’s build based on the menu structure you have set from appearance > menus: http://screencast.com/t/mJLhBJLnLSAh
In this case when you set a category as a mega menu it looks like this: http://screencast.com/t/7mgZhv374St8 that’s why it works like that on mobiles.
Thanks
Lucian,
Thanks for that, I know the mega menu does not work on mobile and the slide menu works there. It’s just weird it adds 4 of the subcategories correctly just not all of them to the slide menu. Just knowing where that bit of code was would allow me to increase the subcategories instead of doing the workaround.
Thanks
Craig
Hi,
The menu loaded on mobile screens itâs different in appearance and functionality from the one used for the tablets and desktop screens so the mega menu dose not work on mobiles. In order to have an category with itâs subcategories you will have to add them like this: http://screencast.com/t/y9FnwtA0g which will be displayed like this in the mobile menu: http://screencast.com/t/lh5kwtedaaUP
A workaround would be to add the category twice in the menu from appearance > menus, once to display the subcategories as a mega menu and once to to add the subcategories as sub-items then use custom css to hide one on desktop/tablets and the other on mobiles.
Sorry about the inconvenience. You can also follow this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/changing-the-mobile-menu/
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
I have a parent category in my mega menu menu item with 5 subcategories and only 5 of them are showing in the slide out mobile menu.
Please let me know if this is a restriction in the slide menu items and how to increase it
Thanks
C
Hi,
Sorry for the delay but unfortunately that is not possible, we have tried it but without success, sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks for understanding!
Hi,
Is there any way to make the mobile menu appear on ipad portrait and landscape instead of the usual menu?
Sorry for all the questions but trying to get the site live today
Thanks
