My website gamingnation.in is showing some weird headlines on different platforms. How do I change the headline for the mobile version as it shows the default “Black Pro Version”. Please help.
Hi There,
I have tried with so many possibilities but I am not able to set the background image to the mobile menu.
Please check below snapshot:

Requesting support team to guide me to set up the background image for mobile theme (non AMP responsive layout)
Hello again Calin,
unfortunately I see that the only way that Teads code can be rendered and for the ads to be shown on mobile is only when mobile theme is deactivated.
In desktop it’s working fine. If I globally include the code in analytics/js script as advised shouldn’t it also be rendered in mobile theme too?
For your information this code is not an ad unit; it’s generating all ad slots in various in-article placements. I tried to add it as am ad unit in mobile ads but it doesn’t work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in regards,
Chris
Hello.
I have a problem customizing the theme for mobile devices:
I have selected the AMP theme for mobile devices in the newspaper theme panel but the settings I choose in the panel are completely ignored.
I can customize some elements by switching from Cloud Template but I cannot have some default settings for all the site.
Furthermore, I configured the site to have different headers according to the page and in mobile view the correct header is displayed for a fraction of a second and then it immediately returns to the default header. It always ignore any setting I configure in the newspaper theme panel.
Can you help me?
Thank you, appreciate your help. Updating mobile theme function.php solves my issue!
Hello !
It looks like you are using Mobile theme.
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
Thank you !
Hi @rajneeshhaldkar, Please provide me a link to your website, in this way I will be able to investigate the amp version and if it
Hi @Siddhesh please make sure that you are using mobile theme plugin with amp plugin and you have enable all the options for amp from WordPress -> https://i.imgur.com/J547TVK.png also make sure that you do not have some plugins that interfere with these settings, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you!
Thank you very much! But would be there a way to take the ad implementation code from the mobile theme and replace the code from the td composer in the desktop theme with it? Or would it be possible to make the current code static with width and height?
Greetings Kathrin

Mobile Theme with & AMP does not works properly. It has grabbed/cropped grid size which makes the site look awkward. You can see how bad it looks like.
How can I change the height of grid so that it looks proper?
Hi,
The mobile theme is using a standard post post style, using the desktop version you can choose between standard post style and cloud templates, now the cloud templates are made using dynamic elements, when the standard one is a file with static elements.
What you can do is to use one of the standard post style from tagDiv Standard pack, maybe this will solve the problem.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
I think that you want something similar with the search from mobile version -> https://i.imgur.com/xNJIuU4.png, if is so, then you can add that mobile live search on you cloud header using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/knczvWg.png
Thank you!
Hi,
The only version of amp that can be use with mobile theme is the one that is apply on our live demo form here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/ and I think that is the same with the one that you have.
Unfortunately for the moment there are only few settings for amp version and non of theme has the ability for what you need.
Thank you for your understanding!
Is there a way to remove the cumulative layout shift in the desktop version in connection with the ad blocks that have been inserted by using the cloud template/composer?
It seems that the ad slot in the mobile theme doesn’t produce any layout shift. So what is the difference betwenn the embedding between the ad slot for mobile and desktop?
Greetings Kathrin
Hi, on mobile theme author name is not showing even though i enable all of them.
Please let me know how to fixed it
Hi,
If you want to set these changes in mobile theme file style, you can do it in this file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/style.css search for “header .entry-title ” -> https://i.imgur.com/gVCaVSm.png hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi Topfgartenwelt,
Please check the answer from this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/to-high-cumulative-layout-shift-in-mobile-theme/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
If you want to remove them entirely, you need to go in Theme panel> Social networks> Social networks and remove from there the links -> https://i.imgur.com/TA3qaY8.png this will remove the social from mobile menu too.
Thank you!
Hi,
The mobile theme can be enable/disable on posts/pages using the option from Gutenberg editor -> https://i.imgur.com/FG8ZtS3.png also the mobile theme editor can be use only on pages, only these need to be rebuild using mobile theme plugin.
Also if you shortcode need to be set in functions, it can be a change to work with mobile theme too, just set the code in functions.php from mobile theme -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/functions.php
Thank you!
Hi,
I think That Google index all the pages get on your website, since you are using the mobile theme plugin and this has pagination this is indexed on google results. Unfortunately I do not know how to prevent this, but I will make some more investigation about this.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
That you can do is to make your full website amp, for this you’ll need to use mobile theme plugin and amp plugin and make sure that you check all the settings for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/3jxQM4n.png in this way all the users that are using mobile device and search your website on google will use the amp version.
Thank you!
Hi,
Indeed our theme has many options and you can do a lot of things, but as you said the animation for mobile menu can not be change.
I’ve added your suggestion to our list of improvements.
Thank you for your suggestion!
Hi thanks for your reply. Could you advise how to set responsive version on mobile theme for Posts (Not page) and also how to use mobile editors for Posts only?
I need to implement this for my new posts, and I am writing my own shortcodes in function.php.
thanks,
I know you are working hard on that problem. But it seems that the code you gave me and modified the min.js in the mobile theme worked. The layout shift is getting better and the test tool (plugin for chrome doesn’t show any layout shift anymore). So my question is: is there also a min.js file for the desktop version that I can modify in the same way?
In wordpress/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js I found the following file: tagdiv_theme_min.js (the same file that you mentioned for the mobile theme) and it includes this part: tdAffix.init({menu_selector:”.td-header-menu-wrap”,menu_wrap_selector:”.td-header-menu-wrap-full” After commenting out tdAffix.init(“.td-header-menu-wrap”) in the mobile js file as you recommended the cumulative layout shift was gone, but what should I do here? There is also contained menu_wrap_selector:”.td-header-menu-wrap-full…Thanks for your help!

Hi SvijetS,
You can use mobile theme plugin with amp plugin, in this way you can use custom css and you can set it in Theme panel> mobile theme> Custom code> custom css and if you’ll set the amp classes of element, then it will be apply only on amp.
Example of code that will apply only on amp -> https://i.imgur.com/8tbi8PZ.png
Thank you!
Hi,
The pages https://www.topfgartenwelt.com/page/1 …. https://www.topfgartenwelt.com/page/5 most probably are indexed from mobile theme version -> https://i.imgur.com/hiIAwrS.png not from desktop version, because you do not have there a pagination, this is present for these pages in mobile theme.
Thank you!
