Hi,

You can use this option from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/7VkRbat.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/ or if you want to apply only on amp you can use this custom css
#td_social_sharing_article_top{
display: none;
}

The code need to be set in theme panel> mobile theme > custom code> css.

Hope it will help you!
Thank you!

Hello !

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC

Thank you !

Hi worldinsport,

If you are using the responsive version, then the results will be present on mobile too, but the sidebar will be after post content because the width on mobile is very small and it do not had space to be set in the right.
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then the sidebar will be removed from mobile version.

Thank you!

Resetting the style didn’t work. Deactivating the plugins I realized that the one with the problem was tag Mobile Theme.

Ultimately, I recreated the entire header from scratch and the problem went away, so not sure what happened, but it’s now fixed.

Hi – I’ve not been able to get a background image to show up after installing the Fashion demo. I just get the white space background. I attempted to do so via Theme panel >> Theme background >> Upload. Am I missing something here?

Posts, Categories and Mobile Menu backgrounds all work fine.

Hello,

I do not want to use the mobile device builder. I would like for the desktop version to
just be used for the mobile device display, like the older versions of the Newspaper theme did.

How can I accomplish this?

Thank you for your detailed replay, well, i did all what you’ve explained to me, and the page loaded correctly, however, when i tried to use the “Mobile + AMP” option the problem will appear! Also, when i try to analyze the website to know whether it is using AMP or no using this tool “https://search.google.com/test/amp” it shows that the main page isn’t AMP, however, it uses this URL https://www.techonnect.com/?amp
which shows even more errors -> https://i.imgur.com/ySbrCLZ.png

Also, as you can see i can’t change the menu background nor the colors whatever colors i pick on the mobile theme setting -> https://imgur.com/a/cFbO4wl

Is there a way to disable the mobile theme for all pages? When we check the box to disable in the editor, it works, but then when we use the TD Composer, it resets that setting.

Hi, I installed the demo Black PRO on http://www.ciclismo.live but the feature pictures are not showed in the mobile version. Is someone having the same problem? It does the same with the Sport PRO, other demos work okay

Hi,

TagDiv Composer is the core of the theme -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/
Please use the amp plugin with the mobile theme plugin as in our documentations from here :
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Use one of these options for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/xM75y2R.png in this way the invalid markups will be solved and the amp will work better.

Also you can use the settings from theme panel, these will be apply for amp and mobile theme too -> https://i.imgur.com/6QXJvFR.png -> https://i.imgur.com/mi0qdQf.png

Let me know if the problem persist!
Thank you!

Hi,

Indeed is look that this option is not apply on mobile theme plugin, as a quick fix you can use this custom css:
.td-social-sharing-button{ border-radius: 50px;
}

The code need to be set in theme panel> mobile theme > custom code> css.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

This can be done if you are using a cloud template from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it with tagDiv Composer, set the phone viewport and select the menu you want to have on mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/KhhD1Dl.png or using mobile theme plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/8qPPQRr.png

Thank you!

Hi,

Please note that these are not bugs.
1. If you are referring to featured image that should appear on social share, then please use Yoast SEO and enable the open graph meta data -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/

2. Indeed using mobile theme plugin the sidebar will be remove, that is because the mobile theme plugin is a separate theme only for mobile versions.
But you can use the responsive version of Newspaper theme and the sidebar will be display (will not be display as in desktop in the right or left because on mobile the width is smaller, it will be display at the bottom of the main content).

Thank you!

Hi,

Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png

Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.

Thank you!

yesterday I did a site migration from one of my staging site staging2.yoloqueen.com to https://star-7dz.com/

So far everything looks good, except on mobile, (even though all setups are [seems] identically) the home page doesn’t use the mobile theme grid… any idea?

1. Pls I have been searching on how to deactivate the infinity scrolling on single post view. It keeps loading next post when the scroll get to footer.

2. How do I use the mobile theme yet with the desktop grids view. I don’t like the mobile grid view. On google page load it scores 28/100 when mobile theme is deactivated and 57/100 when activated. How can I increase the homepage load speed without the mobile theme activated atleast to a score of 50/100

In the Google Search Console I always get the serious mistake that the webfont should be visible during the loading. Affected is the following webfont:

wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/images/icons/mobile-theme.woff?9

It should be solved be adding “font-display: swap” or “<link rel=”preload”>”

What should I do? Do you have any solution?

Greetings Kathrin

Hi,

Usually this is set in mobile menu or if you are using a pro demo and responsive version, you can edit with tagDiv Composer the cloud header and set a button or you can use html raw -> https://i.imgur.com/2VKXaJA.png or column text and set the html in text section -> https://i.imgur.com/uSzeDMv.png using these elements you can set the html code, but the js need to be set in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/weCrR1w.png

Hi Calin,

Looks great. I’ll do it. The only thing I’m not sure about is the installation of the mobile theme. Can it be done through the plugins tab, install the mobile theme, and activate?

Appreciate if you can give detailed instructions on how to do it.
