Hi,
I have installed the mobile theme plugin. But when activating it, I get the following error:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Mobile_Detect in /usr/www/users/chekacqnpq/media/plugins/td-mobile-plugin/Mobile_Detect.php on line 29
Can I be assisted with this error?
Thanks
Seems like your mobile theme load js_composer style and js whats wrong ? Mobile theme does not uses visual composer thats great but why does it uses its assets?

Debug Mode with iPhone 3 as user agent

Hi tagDiv team,
First of all, the new mobile theme is superb and for that I really congratulate you for your hard work.
First- The update went without any issues, however I need to know how to change the top grid from Featured to the Latest, preferably from a particular category, if possible, if not the latest from all will do for now.
“top grid – displays 3 featured posts (posts included in the Featured category)”
Second – Do you still recommend to use WP Super Cache with your latest theme update v7.0.1? I have used the WP Fastest Cache and I had some issues after the update, it kept showing the Desktop version instead of the mobile version, so I had to disable it.
Third- The Speed Booster is not working when these and other plugins are active:
-Add Meta Tags
-Advanced Custom Fields
-Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode by SeedProd
-Disqus Comment System
-and other plugins
It would be great idea to make the Speed Booster compatible with all plugins and also add CDN and also other caching options and features, this will help speeds up the theme even more, and will also avoid experiencing any errors from other cache plugins.
Finally – how to edit the mobile template? Which file?
Many thanks for the great work
Hello Marto,
The implementation is correct, but please notice that the mobile theme is not displaying the google page level ads, sorry!
The code that I provided you above should apply and for mobile mode. Please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer.
Thanks.
Hi,
I think I need to add the code for Page-level ads in the head section for mobile theme and test it. Correct me if I am wrong. If not, please lead me to this file.
And the other thing is that I have already added this code in the place you told me, but the counter appears on mobile theme.
Thanks!
Hello kylemccoy,
I have tested again on my side and the drop caps are displayed fine on mobile theme. Also, I have checked your source page and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which could interact with our theme and might cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Please try this advice and let us know how it work.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
I have not tested this on the mobile theme, but the mobile theme does not use visual composer at all so this method is redundant: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks.
Hello kanstan,
I have checked your website again and I saw that your mobile menu is working fine. Also, I have noticed that you have the 6.7.2 version of Newspaper and above you have said that the problem happens in the latest version. Please try to switch the theme to the latest version and provide again your website URL so I can inspect it closer.

Hi,
All the elements need to be adjusted for the mobile theme including the ads and the pages themselves: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Use these ad slots: http://screencast.com/t/MrhJEX3w0
Thank you!
Hello Marto,
Please notice that the Page level ads implementation is not tested for the mobile theme and we cannot say for sure if it works as properly, sorry!
Also, if you want to hide the post view count, you have to use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS Area.
The code is ->
.td-post-views {
display:none;
}
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately the mobile theme cannot be re-written from the child theme as it;s implementation is different from the main theme. We will try to add child theme support for the mobile theme in future updates.
Thank you!
Thank you for your help, now it work for me and my site is loading faster very much.
Total size of my webpage is under 3 MB now, include adsense.
I had added this code to functions.php (desktop)
But is there bug if i add this code to functions.php for mobile theme?

Thank you for your reply. I’ve cleared my browser cache as well as the cache on the server and still no luck. The URL is http://coloradosportsnetwork.com. I have reenabled the mobile theme plugin so you can inspect it. I appreciate the help.
Hello taco_and_co,
Please notice that this implementation for page-level-ads is not tested for our new mobile theme and we cannot say for sure that will work for this, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
I have updated the theme, its looks great, but the ads are not showing in the mobile theme. Please help
Hello mixamex.com,
It is a little bit strange this. Please ensure that you have cleared all your caches and test it again. Basically, it is no link between the changing language to English in WordPress and the Mobile theme, though.
Thanks.
Hi,
Thank you for your answer!
I want to disable only views on articles but not to completely stop counting from panel. I have hidden it in responsive design by a css code but its shown on mobile, so i suppose I needanother css css code to add in Mobile theme->Custom css.
Also I have added the Page-level ads code and it’s properly shown in the responsive design, but it nos showing in the mobile theme.
Hello
Please notice that the drop caps shortcode is working fine on the mobile theme, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/wSyqy8bUG Please try to clear all your caches and test it again.
So, if you need more assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer.
Thanks.
Hello Marto,
1) Please notice that our new mobile theme do not support the Visual Composer and it only displays the Big Grid -> your desired text -> and the latest articles features. For more information about mobile theme, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
2) For more information about page level ads implementation, please check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/page-level-ads-problems/
3) Please notice that the mobile theme does not support adding the widgets. This was made to be very fast and clean. All information about this feature you will find in the above documentation. If you want to have widgets, you will have to use the normal mobile theme (responsive mode).
4) If you want to hide the back to the top button, you have to use a bit of CSS code to do it. Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area.
The code is ->
@media (max-width:767px){
.td-scroll-up-visible {
display:none;
}
}
5)If you want to show the footer menu, you have to change them from Theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/3QDthMdzkA
6)Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-mobile-footer-wrap {
display:none;
}
7)Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option for mobile font menu. If you want to change the font from the mobile menu, you can only do using a bit of CSS. For example, you can use the following code ->
.td-mobile-content{
font-family:arial;
}
Please notice that the font will have to be loaded from the Theme panel->Theme fonts, otherwise, the font will not be loaded. If your custom font is not loaded in our theme, you have to load them using ‘@font-face’ For more references in this regard, please consult here ->>
https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-font-issue/
8)I suppose that you are referring to the post view count for each post page. If you want to hide/remove it, please notice that you can do that from Theme panel->Post Settings, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/gBgk740e If is not what you mean, please provide more details.
9)As you can see, for the mobile theme, you cannot display the blocks for your sidebar. For more information about sidebar, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
10)Please notice that the mobile theme has been designed to be very basic/simple and clear just to be very fast. Yes, the modal image was removed because influence the speed optimization and that was the decision of our developers. Also, you cannot turn it on because you do not have any option to enable it.
So, if you are unhappy with the new mobile theme behaviour, you simply disable the Mobile theme plugin and the theme will be switched to the normal mobile responsive.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
This issue is caused by caching. You updated recently but the old style.css is still cached and served instead of the new file. Please clear all caches from the cache plugin, browser, a cdn server or hosting cache you might have.
As for the mobile theme, please read this topic to learn more about it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello scorpiock,
If you want to hide these elements for your mobile version, you have to use a bit of CSS code to do it. Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-mobile-footer-wrap{
display:none;
}
The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/Q2DfAgcla
Thanks.
Hi,
This will not work from the mobile theme. The author box is a visual composer element and the mobile theme does not use visual composer. You will have to re-create the author box for the mobile view in html in the secondary mobile editor. You can read more about the mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello ns85gs,
Using theme settings, please notice that you can only move the footer menu to be in place of the top bar menu, switching from Theme panel, as I can pointed you above -> http://screencast.com/t/4XXknJ3g6rLf ->for mobile version. If is not what you mean and if you want to implement another way, please notice that we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
If you want to have the same style and same content for the mobile theme, then simply deactivate the plugin and you will have the responsive version for mobile. The mobile theme was added as a minimalistic design to have as much speed as possible.
You can read more about the mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
