Hello there,
Everything was going fine ’till I installed “ad insert” plugin, then the ads stopped appearing on mobile browser when I visit my website.
But on computer browser everything is good and the ads appear normally.
I’ve deleted the codes and inserted it again in the fields, but nothing changed.
Her is a screen shot: https://snag.gy/M7gEB2.jpg
PLS help me.
My website URL: http://www.autathya.com
Hi Calin,
Yes, we are using the plugin you advise to use.
So really it’s a bit of a poor reply, I’m sorry but you have all these loyal users that are experiencing the same issue.
So your response is, we are never going to get the issue fixed, we have to continuously clear the cache whenever the problem arises.
Do you honestly think thats fair? To have visitors use our site and then next day they visit they get the mobile theme pushed to them and we have to KNOW our self the issue they are experiencing and clear the cache only to wait for it to happen again.
Very poor support.
Is there not anything you can do? As I will have to change theme, I am not putting up with a ridiculous issue like that, especially when I am using the plugins you advise.
Hi,
Maybe this is happening after the 9.7 update changes – https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ if it used to work before.
So the problem is not happening when checking with just the mobile theme, but it is happening when you access the AMP and mobile theme? Also does it happen if you test while having only theme plugins, AMP, and the thrive plugin active?
I found some cases online where it is caused by either a caching plugin, low wp-memory (we recommend 256M), or old PHP versions (we recommend 7, 7.1 or 7.2). You could check those as well.
I can’t provide a definite solution for such a problem because we haven’t tried or tested the plugin you mention, up to this point.
Thanks
Thanks for reply. Did you notice how the link having %BD%bd%bnab%bbd%bhh%hhahd% which is not understandable and when shared, it gives expression as if some span/virus contained content is posted. Whereas when you open the same news in mobile and the news in Whatsapp using mobile link looks exactly correct. Please let me know the reason for it and ways to correct it.
Hi,
Those screenshots work fine. Regarding the header question It is possible to choose what appears in the sticky header mode. You can use a cloud header template
– https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Using such a header, you can design a header for normal mode, and one for sticky mode, with the tagDiv composer. Simply enable the sticky mode and add elements in it (for sticky mode)- http://prntscr.com/noamf6 –
So if you want the same elements to appear in default mode and sticky mode, you can do it in a cloud header template. With the predefined header templates it can’t be done by a theme setting.
The header background color when the mobile theme plugin is active, can be set in the mobile theme section of the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/noaqzn
Thanks
Hello !
I’ve inspected your page and you do not seem to have any issue since the related posts tab is avaialable on mobile and desktop too: https://www.screencast.com/t/eTbV0Wz3h7Ix
If the problem persists please provide more details about it maybe a screenshot.
Thank you !
There seems to be a conflict with the tagDiv Mobile plugin (Version 1.2) which I have got installed and ThriveLeads (lead generation plugin).
When I launch the AMP version of my site, I’m getting the following error “Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0” and my website is totally blank. It works fine for the non AMP version of my posts.
I have a ThriveLeads email footer opt-in widget which is located at the bottom of my posts for both AMP and non-AMP posts.
I’ve contacted ThriveLeads and they’ve looked into the matter and they seem to think the issue is with the tagDiv Mobile plugin. When they deactivate the plugin, the page loads fine using AMP.
This has always worked in the past and it seems to have stopped working with the tagDiv Mobile plugin (Version 1.2) (please note: I have the latest version of the Newspaper installed Version 9.7.2).
I wonder if you can advise on this please?
Thank you
Hi,
I have checked again your website but I do not see your overlapping ad, sorry! You need to take a look over the following topic from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-menu-issue-2/
Thank you!
Hi @bilalbzd,
The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.
If you do not have the featured category, you’ll need to add some posts in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured
Let me know if you have more questions!
Hi,
I see the problem, there seems to be an error related to the theme font responsible with the icons – http://prntscr.com/no9ef4
But it happens only in the mobile homepage, in a post it works – http://prntscr.com/no9ep4 also in mobile category pages.
Could be caused by plugins maybe, you could try as a quick test to deactivate all non-theme plugins, especially any caching plugins or minification plugins. Then check to see if the problem is solved.
Thanks
Hi,
If you re-downloaded the theme and updated again, now deactivate the mobile theme plugin and delete it. Install it again from the theme plugins panel and activate it
– http://prntscr.com/no923m
Then AMP should work correctly. Let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
For amp version you can try this custom css
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/AAKVZ0xTbPm
You need to set the code in Theme panel>Mobile theme>Custom code> Css
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/jRnAmBMWPbr
Thank you!
Hi,
Please notice that the only single way to affect the font and color for mobile is to use the media queries CSS for that. You need to use the Inspector browser functionality and try to create your own custom CSS code. Use media queries to target mobile devices. You can take a look for these rules here -> https://www.w3schools.com/css/css3_mediaqueries_ex.asp
Hope this helps!
Thank you!
Hello !
Usually when the mobile version appear on desktop are some problem with cache plugin, browser cache, please clear all cache and try again.
We recommend using WP Super Cache -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ Make sure if you have followed the steps from this guide if you want to achieve good theme results.

Hi,
The bottom element/block of the front page of my blog doesn’t show the way it should in Microsoft edge and Firefox.
It looks completely weird, like a dropdown list on the bottom right-hand side, just before the footer.
In chrome and mobile, it shows really good though.
To notice the difference, first, go to the blog on chrome and then, see it on edge. You’ll see the difference.
Remember to go to the bottom right-hand side, just before the footer to see the issue.
Here is the blog: https://askgerireilly.com
HERE IS WHAT I MEAN: http://oi63.tinypic.com/2evs09g.jpg
Please help ASAP!
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Boris
When I go to Newspaper > Theme panel > Post Settings (Layout Settings) and enable “Show Related Article,” the related articles do not appear below posts on desktop for some reason. They appear fine on the mobile version of the theme, however.
I would like for Related Articles to appear on Desktop.
An example post: https://personacentral.com/persona-5-original-art-book-english/
The default official AMP plugin from Automattic works great with the theme and has since day one; so that is obviously a good fallback for mission critical sites to work with AMP.
Of course no AMP plugin will fix issues within content that are pre-existing and not AMP-compatible (like inline HTML in some cases, inject javascript or other code where not supposed to be; rogue plugins, et al.).
Some sites moving away from AMP, as Google now trying to make it a “publishing platform” to monetize for showing content as an application, vs traditional web formats. For many folks, simply having mobile friendly optimized responsive site may be better choice unless very high traffic with ads non-blocked via AMP when cached on Google cloud.
For “most” bogs, AMP has no benefit for the user or site owner.
My two cents anyway; having been using it since it was in BETA and following Google’s latest zig zags with trying to get people to adopt this format for their entire sites, which is impractical and perhaps stupid to buy into a Google concept that might be abandoned at some point while traditional responsive pages will work forever.
Is it possible to make the sticky menu use everything from the orange/secondary design line color and up so that everything shows. Also on a mobile the logo shows the blue back around it but the header is staying all black unlike the blue on the desk top.
Is there a way for us to see what we have not gotten answers to. This is difficult to track a support issue when you have to go through pages to see that something is still a problem and not answered or fixed.
I never know if these links work or not:

Hi,
thank you for your answer. However to reproduce the issue you have to open the mobile navigation menu. I have tried it with an IPhone 7 and the behavior is still like you can see on my screenshot.
I have managed to change the main website font and colours though adjusting the settings, including the Blockquote formatting. However, I can’t see how to adjust this in for Mobile/AMP.
I suspect I might be able to do it with some custom text. Is the right? If so can you give an example of the code I could add to be mobile styling?
Basically, I don’t want it to be in capitals and like it grey and not a bright red.
Thanks
Hello,
My site contabilidad.com.do, for some reason is loading the mobile version of the theme, but in the PC… it is not supose to happen..
What do you think is? , or what part can i review in order to know why this is happening?
Regards
Hi,
Thank you for your kind words and we are happy hearing this from you and we are glad if you are happy and like this tool. If you want to customize your Mobile Menu and Sticky, you need to enable this functionality from the Header Manage, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/mTUMbYoxED4y After you have enabled these options, it will appear the header ROW on sticky mode and for mobile devices and also, you can customize it as you wish.
Hope this helps!
Thank you!
Thank you Vlad. The reason I wanted to add additional custom ads was to be able to control which ad sizes appear on desktop vs. mobile devices. Using the Ad box, is there a way to only show that ad on desktop and tablet, but not mobile?
