I have disabled it via theme panel yet it still appears, when you click a post you go at bottom you can see there is an infinitely loading square loop. kindly tell me how to disable it or change the way it behaves such as colour looks.
Second question How to change the colour of the “Page UP” button at the bottom right side of the page?

The ad is set in the Ad box and is an image, and you can remove it, edit with tagDiv Composer, select the Ad box element and with right-click you can delete it => https://www.screencast.com/t/2GfCVx9BCAw7 or with drag & drop place it into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page.
The ad box has 3 sections for ads: using theme panel ads -> https://i.imgur.com/KFa9ibl.png, using images/banners -> https://i.imgur.com/MfAPTaE.png and custom code -> https://i.imgur.com/2rh8SuD.png save it and will appear on the post (you can set a shortcode like a shortcode from adrotate plugin or other plugins)

Hi all,
I’m trying to change the font size on an inline text element.
We really like the Gossip header, and we are building a site using the Newspaper theme with it. I have the latest upgrade.
Client wants a SEO adjustment – a text field replacing the header weather element and I achieved this using the inline text element (which I didn’t see before, is it new to this upgrade? – anyway, thanks).
I matched the Montserrat font to the date font, but with no text adjustment available I matched the 11px date element font size with an html style to the description. For instance, <div style = "font-size: 11px; padding-bottom:0px;padding-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-top:0px">SOCIALIST PARTY</div>
But this created space below the text, (see image) and moved it above. On inspecting the source code of the page in view, I found <p></p> beneath the div, and that is the cause of the extra space below the Words. so is not a good method.
Any ideas?

I just updated to Newspaper 10.4. Beside the theme I have 45 different plug-ins.
After installation I had to manually purge the cache for WP Super Cache.
Apart from that no issues so far. Here is the change log:

As per your link, I have enabled Unique Articles with Post Limit Start to 6 and offset start from 7, this setting removed the duplicates but the issue is that our latest published date articles are not coming first.
I have also tried disabling the unique article feature and just using the offset but the same duplicate issues come.
Example Today on 12 March – IN the Latest Articles Infinite section we would have 12 march articles first then 11 march then 10 march and so on but its showing old articles.
On the block settings, I have enabled the sorting filter to LATES

What other solution is there WITHOUT fixed height?
We were running Newspaper theme 6.X.X and updated to the latest version.
So far the update has been just one big headache. Thrive Comments was working so well for our needs before the update. We were using Thrive Comments as the Newspaper theme comments feature does not operate well enough to suit a real newspaper’s workspace and our legal requirements.
We require that the user provides their full name, first and last. Basically, we HAVE to get Thrive Comments working again OR we need to have much more control over the Newspaper theme comments feature.
We need Newspaper Theme to allow us to:
1. Add custom text above the comment area – to explain to the reader what information is required in order to publish their comment.
2. Change “Leave a Reply” to “Leave a Comment”
2. Modify the Name field, to say “First and Last Name”
3. Remove the “Website” field
4. Modify the bottom line to read “Save my name, and email (remove and website) in this browser for the next time I comment.
We are incredibly disappointed in the theme update and its prevention of allowing other plugins to work. WordPress is built on plugins working, and Thrive Comments is a Premium very-well functioning plugin that we are now unable to use since the theme update.
Who do you recommend for customization to get the Thrive Comments plugin working? Is there not a code snippet you can provide to disable the Newspaper Theme comments and allow us instead to use Thrive Comments? The current Newspaper comments is hurting our business, and costing us a lot of time.
Please help to put this right.

Hi, does anybody know how to remove the 3 latest posts on the mobile homepage (not the latest articles at the bottom, but just the top 3 that appear below the header).
I don’t mind adding/deleting some code if I have to do it every time there is an update or I can add CSS.
I have been seeing for a long while inconsistencies in spacing in my front page page when viewed in different browsers. I raised it several months ago and was told it would be on the list. Can anything be done? It makes my front page in some browsers look unprofessional. The site is https://jazzjournal.co.uk.
The problem is in desktop view and occurs in column 3 at the top right of the front page. I’m using Flex Block 1 and Safari. I adjust the column 3 depth using “Layout/Modules bottom space” to add or remove space and line up the bottom of the column with the bottom of the column 2 photo. The spacing is retained live in Safari. But view it live in Firefox or Chrome and column 3 has a vast space at the bottom. 2.Please make sure you have set the youtube API like in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/youtube-api-key/ and check after if the problem persists.
3.tagDiv Composer is a page and cloud builder, it can be used only for pages and cloud templates, therefore you can use it on a single post template from tagDiv cloud library to adjust the layout, but not to write the post content, for this, you need to use the WordPress editor.

I’m using Block 9 on my site, which uses module 8, and I would like to have the first 15-20 words of the post included in the block instead of just the title, author, date and category. Is there an easy way to add this? Or is there an easy way to remove the image from another block? I’m just wanting the title, author, date, category and first 15-20 words of the post without an image on my home page for my site.

If you use a Pro Prebuilt Website, the settings from theme panel not apply for breadcrumbs. I have the default top/bottom/inline article ads appearing across the site, but they are appearing on Obituaries. I would like to disable them only for this category. Is that possible?

I wrote the above post and instead of removing the whole post I made some adjustments. I had installed an older version of WPBakery plugin thinking I had to do so for the theme to work correctly. I deactivated the WPBakery plugin on a dev site and noticed that is did not affect the layout of the site.
I deactivated the WPBakery plugin on the live site and no change happened to the layout, because it looks like WPBakery is packed into the theme.
So I went ahead and removed the older WPBakery plugin from the installed plugin screen and when the plugin was removed the vulnerability issue also went away.
Bottom line is. Do not have a seperate plugin for WPBakery active when the Newspaper theme is in use. Because WPBakery is baked/integrated into the theme.
Which means the last comment and this comment is just meant as information for whomever comes across it. There is not actionable item for support to handle.
Meaning the issue can be closed.
