Hi,
If you want to hide the page header section for this section, you need to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
.page-id-610 .td-page-header{
display:none;
}
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YLXFjYC2ocZ
Also, if you do not want to section, you can change the page template to default. Now, you are using the Pagebuilder title.
If you want to add Trending Now element, you sohuld add it via TD Composer, when you edit your homepage. For more information about our page builder plugin, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Since switching to Cloud Templates, the header ad (Google AdSense) seems to not be centering on phones. Is there a custom code or anything else for this that won’t affect other ads on the page that are fine?
Example: https://www.vitalthrills.com/2019/03/19/nicolas-cage-martial-arts-jiu-jitsu/
I am using the TagDiv Newspaper theme with GDv2.
I want to be able to use post layouts like the link below, in which the listing title is displayed over the featured image as a header.
One problem is that no matter which Template I select from: GD > Settings > Design tab, I get the default post layout in which the Post (CPT) title is displayed right and the top and cannot be styled.
Another problem is that the WpBakery Page Builder is not overriding the content area, so I am stuck with the normal boxed layout, which makes it impossible for me to use the page builder to make the headers that I want.
What I want:

What I have:

Hi.
I’ve deactivated all plugins. Same problem with ‘home’ page. (http://mrrwebdev01.org/wp-admin/post.php?post_id=29283&td_action=tdc&tdbTemplateType=page#/) (http://mrrwebdev01.org/wp-admin/post.php?post=29283&action=edit)
Also, there is no child theme in place.
Romania has been whitelisted.
I’m sending WordPress credentials in an email now.
Thanks again.

Hello,
I’ve got Cloud Template installed, but there are hundreds of templates to choose from. I just want my page size (on all pages) to be wider. What template would I need to choose to get this to work? The documentation you have sent me to does not answer my question which is just to make my site wider. I would really appreciate a full answer to this. I have to wait 24 hours between each time I ask a question which means I’m on 72 hours just to do something that would be incredibly simple with most themes.
Hoping to get a complete answer this time …
Thank-you,
Lisa

With Newspaper 9.2.2 all is working fine. When I upgraded to Newspaper 9.6 with the TagDiv Composer plugin update my home page is completely broken. I rolled back and all is OK again – please help.

That seems to work without the huge memory setting. The page still loads a bit slow on sites with a lot of posts, BUT… it loads, AND the button shows up.
You guys gotta get this released in the next update.
Thanks for the help. Note that a bunch of my other problems went away with this fix, so maybe tell your support team that this fixes the missing button problem and error 500 loading of cloud templates problem too (It might help others).
Thanks.
Hey,
We are having trouble with customization of the template.
We have paid subscriptions, and want to show visually that you need to subscribe.
We want a small ‘plussymbol’, just before the title on the home-page, when an article is published in the category ‘pluss’.
We tried several custom code, but did not manage this.
Any thoughts?
Paul
Hi Simion,
Thanks for your response, what I’m describing is a slightly different issue. I’ve head to change my header back to a predefined header template because it was really too awful with the background loading.
The issue I’m seeing is slightly lower down on the front page (the background colour around the grid). The most annoying however, is on posts (click on any posts like this one: https://nordsip.com/2019/03/08/norway-confronts-oil-risk/)
You can see that the background white box that is behind the headline is slow to appear and it means that the black header is seen against the picture, which doesn’t look good.
When I tried to change the site heather to a custom template, the background was also slow to load, and it just wasn’t good enough for me to leave it up.
I really hope you can help me!
Best,
Aline
Hi Calin,
I did manage to install the theme, however, I have so many unclear issues. First, the theme is different than the one in the demo. How can I design it similarly to the demo? Can I insert the four posts template at the homepage as it is on the demo? How can I find the video section and insert videos that are displayed on different posts? I get many categories that are not relevant to my site (recipes, lifestyle, etc). I want the theme to synchronized with my data. Another issue that I have is that the posts are displayed randomly and not according to the latest publication. Instagram is not updating, the author box appears in the middle of the homepage, your social icons and weather are not updating.
Please, I will appreciate if you can help me with that, I have traffic on my site so I have to fix these issues as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Hi,
Is there any way to copy the same black version as it is in the demo (except the angry birds’ videos which I cannot find! where is it)
Right now, I don’t like to template that I have – https://www.allinallspace.com/ and I find it quite difficult to design.
How can I control the homepage – The video section, the Instagram, the social media button at the sidebar.
Thanks,
Hi,
1. The link works – http://prntscr.com/mzxy3p but the page is empty. Please check if you entered content for the page in the mobile editor – http://prntscr.com/mzxz4t if the mobile editor for those pages has no content, they will be empty on mobile when the mobile theme is active – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
2. I believe you men this text – http://prntscr.com/mzy4qr Seems there is no setting for it, unless you use a cloud post template – http://prntscr.com/mzy5cc
For the predefined post template I could give you a CSS code – http://prntscr.com/mzy63t
.comments .comment-subscription-form {
font-size: 16px;
}
You can enter it in the theme panel custom CSS section.
3. We are currently investigating why the ads do not come in the desired size. Seems all 300px sizes will serve random sizes ads. A solution would be to use on mobile sizes that are not 300px. Try to create ad codes of sub 300px width and check if they appear properly. Let me know if possible.
Thanks
Hello,
I have just one simple question: Is it possible to get tagdiv slide gallery to another webpage with other template then newsnag? It is exist like separate plugin?
Thanks for reply.
Hi,
If I understand correctly you want to have the inline ads only for some post not for all of theme, if is so then in order to achieve this you can use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library and set in post content in ads the inline ads
https://www.screencast.com/t/ikoftopbR7
https://www.screencast.com/t/FIE435jmTgGw
After that set this template on each post that you want to have inline ads, if you want to can duplicate the template ( and change name of template ) remove the inline ads and set this template on the res of post, in this way you’ll have the same tamplate to all post.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no general settings like that, for posts/tags/categories you can use a template and do this in that template, for pages you’ll need to do for each one or you can use a custom css.
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/CDAV0r9Tn4zU
.page .tdc-content-wrap .td-element-style{
background-color: lightgray!important;
}
If you’ll remove the .page the code will apply to all posts/pages/categories … from your site.
Thank you!
Hi,
If I understand correctlly you want to show the Custom Post Types in author pages, if is so then you’ll need to use a cloud template for author, edit it and set a block, in filter block set the post type -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NBO8GS0t
Block settings guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hi @webcreativeng,
If you are using the Newspaper v9.5 or v9.6 you can use the header builder and you can achieve the header you want with all elements you want from composer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sd1O8qYGHnIA
If you want to have a global header you’ll need to set it in theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dnHozn7zH and all pages/categories/posts that do not have set an individual header will have that header set.
For individual header you’ll need to edit that page/post template/category template… and set in it the header that you want, and on this posts/categories templates or page will be set that header ( the individual will override the global header for that post/page ).

Thank you for your understanding!
I have a question about the pre-defined category elements in the template builder. I am creating a category page template that needs to serve multiple category landing pages. The design calls for design elements that work great if you’re using the normal post elements on regular post-based templates, but not for category pages.
The category elements available to use are all grid related with very limited customizability. I need to be able to pull elements onto that page that have the functionality/flexibility of post elements but pulling category content. Correct me if I am wrong, but all the post elements need a category assigned to them, and I need them to be able to pull the currently queried category instead.
I am able to use post elements and filter to a specific category, however, to do it that way means I would have to create numerous page templates—each one set to a specific category, which is a ton of work.
So, my question is whether there is a way to get more editable/flexible category elements within Newspaper that I’m unaware of. For instance, I’d love to have the flex box elements but that would pull category content in instead of post content.
Hi Catalin,
I modified file header-style6.php
<?php if (td_util::is_ad_spot_enabled('header')) { ?>
<div class="td-banner-wrap-full td-container-wrap <?php echo td_util::get_option('td_full_header'); ?>">
<div class="td-container-header td-header-row td-header-header">
<div class="td-header-sp-recs">
<?php if ( ! is_single( array('1027', '67707') )) {locate_template('parts/header/ads.php', true);} ?>
</div>
</div>
</div>
I used the code you provided And the ad still shows….but doesn’t this statement above mean, if you are this page, then load this Ad.php… how do i make it so that it loads that “ads.php” file unless is NOT, the page ID’s i want to exclude from?
Can i use something like this:
<?php if (td_util::is_ad_spot_enabled('header')) { ?>
<div class="td-banner-wrap-full td-container-wrap <?php echo td_util::get_option('td_full_header'); ?>">
<div class="td-container-header td-header-row td-header-header">
<div class="td-header-sp-recs">
<?php if ( ! is_page( array('1027', '67707') return false);
else {locate_template('parts/header/ads.php', true);} ?>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<?php } ?>

Hello,
i followed the steps to create a new custom post type in a child theme called td_projects. i also created a Single Template for this specific cpt single_td_projects. when i tested the post, i got this message on the page:
wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: tdb_template_7141 is not set.
/home/…/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_api.php
and this one:
wp_booster error:
td_api_base::get_key : a component with the ID: tdb_template_7141 Key: exclude_ad_content_top is not set.
any tips to resolve this?
I have a number of other issues reported, but I think I’ve tracked down the overall problem with Cloud Templates.
On some sites Cloud Templates loads just fine and shows the “Add New” button.
On some sites Cloud Templates loads, but do NOT show the “Add New” button.
On some sites Cloud Templates just errors with error 500.
I tried the advice you provided on another ticket to increase memory, and I found that when I increase memory, the more I do that, the more sites starts working. In fact, the memory required increase proportionally to the number of posts I have on my sites.
- Site with 100 posts seems to always work, and the Cloud template page loads fast.
- Sites with 100-8000 posts works with 256M
- Sites with 8-1000 posts can load the cloud templates at 256MB, but does not show ADD NEW button until memory is increased to 512M, then the Add New button appears. Note that at 386M the button does NOT appear
- On a site with 65,000 posts, I don’t have enough memory to get the button to show up, but at 4096M I can get the Cloud Template page to load.
So, The FIRST thing that works as I start adding memory is the page starts loading again. As I add more memory, the “Add New” button starts working again later.
So, clearly, the amount of memory required from the Cloud Templates depends on how many posts the site has, which is a huge problem. If I was to guess, it’s because your “used on” column checks all the content, but inadvertently uses a TON of memory.
If you can fix this in a new release I think you could solve a bunch of other problems I have (And others will have), where the Cloud Templates won’t work on large sites.
UPDATE: If I set the memory limit in PHP to 2024M, then it loads without an error. But that’s obviously an outrageous amount of memory. It also takes about 30 seconds to load the page, and I only have ONE template in there…
Same for me when editing ‘Home’ page: http://mrrwebdev01.org/wp-admin/post.php?post_id=29283&td_action=tdc&tdbTemplateType=page#/

Hi,
This is our list with tested plugins with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cmPkh9jba4sZ
You can add the search bar using tagDiv Composer also using tagDiv Cloud Library you’ll have some more elements -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HDLlswGK
Thank you!
Hi,
Numbered pagination is available for the loop element – http://prntscr.com/mzi2jr But the loop does not have any filtering settings, just an exclude posts option.
Or if you use the page template with latest articles – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Blocks do not have a numbered pagination method, only ajax pagination
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
