We are using Video News template of Newspaper 8.5 theme, video on the post page are showing up at the bottom instead of the black panel at the top as shows in the actual demo of Video News template.

Click on the any video on the link http://latidune.com/?cat=399 and go to the post page.

Is it a featured or header image issue where the theme is handling it differently ? Please visit the sites and let us know if we should do any config changes or CSS code updates.

I want the contributors / authors to be able to see the post settings options on post pages so they can do things like choosing what template to use and what the subtitle should be. I’ve tried using a WordPress roles editor, but it looks like post settings are linked to publishing posts and I still don’t want the users to be able to post things straight away.

Is there any way to do this using custom code?

since a few days the “Post Template” Settings below the posts editor are totally missing. Also the window in which you can insert the Video-Link is not there anymore.

I just installed the newest Version of Newspaper but nothing changed. Any idea what happened here?

I’m having some “problems” with the Speed Booster plugin. I state that i’m not a newbie to this template and its plugins.
Said that, what follow is my problem: as you can see from the screenshot below, if i run the Google Page Speed for my articles, there’re two files that delay the render of the page (above-the-fold) only on the mobile version (i’m not using the dedicate mobile plugin because the theme is already mobile friendly).
I’ve added those files in my Speed Booster config file, but seems that isn’t working.
The second problem is: why the mobile pages needs 5 round trip to be loaded? (0 on desktop version)

Hello,
I’m experiencing some issues with the template. However, I think it depends from some configuration of my site and probably are caused by the same problem.

1) When I save an article, I can’t change article layout (eg. changing sidebar position, featured image position, etc.)
2) I can’t use the tagdiv composer (when I click on the tab, a second window will open, but it loads forever)
3) Under ‘appereance’, I can’t open, delete or modify widgets.

Can you please help me to solve these issues with my site?

I use cloudflare.

Both sites use the same plug-ins.

Any idea why this is hapening?
