Hi, could anyone please help me with it? I’m finding duplicate tags, pages and posts everywhere. I checked my websites SEO score and I could see broken links.

Duplicate – https://travelrealms/category/europe/tagdiv

How do I fix this? How can I remove “tagdiv” after every page, posts?

Hi,

I want to remove the “Advertisement” tags from my homepage. It seems that the “Posts Loop” is adding it, even if I disabled or enable the “Enable video pop-up” function from Article Video.

This tag is bad for SEO and it should be removed.
This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apGbYJ_8LSM is a great reference to what I’m talking about.

Hello,

I’m not sure I fully understand. Do you want to remove it?
You can edit the post with tagDiv Composer and select the element from the sidebar and with right-click, you can delete it.

If you do not mean this, please provide more information about your issue.

Thank you!

Hello,

You can apply a filter on each block as you want, to not display the same posts, you need to enable the option unique article, which checks if that post is showing in other blocks => https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qPztPvlx
This option automatically removes duplicate posts from the page.
Also, you want to have a category template -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/ from tagDiv Cloud Library and displayed all the posts from that category, so you can use the posts loop element => https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-loop/ or you can use Flex Block 1 and set the filter to “Category -Current category” => https://i.imgur.com/7P99qx0.png

Thank you!

UPDATE: I have deactivated tagDiv Opt-in Builder and was able to access the Theme Customizer afterwards. This is even though I did not remove the Leads element, which now shows unprocessed shortcode starting from the snippet posted below:

“[tds_leads input_placeholder=”Your email address” btn_horiz_align=”content-horiz-center” pp_checkbox=”yes” pp_msg=”SSd2ZSUyMHJlYWQlM…..”

Anyway, before disabling the opt-in builder plugin, I have also created a new homepage and imported the Magazine Pro homepage layout and then tried and replaced the current frontpage with this new layout, but I still got the same issue… so it is possible there is some conflict between the codes on the Magazine pro homepage and opt-in builder.

I’d love to know your thoughts on this.

Thanks again.

Hello,

I can’t seem to identify what may be the exact cause of this issue but the Theme Customizer returns a critical error when I try to open it.

The only Element that I could relate to the td_subscription php file is the Leads element I placed on the homepage once.

The homepage loads fine when viewed live ( https://paste.pics/EGF4Y ), whether I am logged in as admin, or viewing in incognito mode. It’s only when I try to go to Theme Customizer that the error occurs.

I already tried removing the Leads Element but still gets the critical error message and still unable to access the Theme Customizer.

For reference, these are the active plugins:
Envira Gallery Lite
Siteground Optimizer
tagDiv Cloud Library
tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Opt-in Builder
tagDiv Social Counter
WooCommerce
WPForms Lite

Below is the complete error message ( screenshot uploaded at https://paste.pics/EGF40 )

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in /home/customer/www/brwnfshwebworks.com/public_html/bwmstage/wp-content/plugins/td-subscription/includes/td_subscription.php:196 Stack trace: #0 /home/customer/www/brwnfshwebworks.com/public_html/bwmstage/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(303): td_subscription->{closure}(‘https://brwnfsh…’, Object(WP_Term), ‘category’) #1 /home/customer/www/brwnfshwebworks.com/public_html/bwmstage/wp-includes/plugin.php(189): WP_Hook->apply_filters(‘https://brwnfsh…’, Array) #2 /home/customer/www/brwnfshwebworks.com/public_html/bwmstage/wp-includes/taxonomy.php(4559): apply_filters(‘term_link’, ‘https://brwnfsh…’, Object(WP_Term), ‘category’) #3 /home/customer/www/brwnfshwebworks.com/public_html/bwmstage/wp-includes/nav-menu.php(891): get_term_link(Object(WP_Term), ‘category’) #4 [internal function]: wp_setup_nav_menu_item(Object(WP_Post)) #5 /home/customer/www/brwnfshwebworks.com/public_html/bwmstage/wp-includes/nav-menu.php(755): array_map(‘wp_setup_nav_me. in /home/customer/www/brwnfshwebworks.com/public_html/bwmstage/wp-content/plugins/td-subscription/includes/td_subscription.php on line 196

Please inform me how I can find an remove the codes that produce that error.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

is there any way to change the internal links which link to category pages?

I’ll try to describe my problem with an example:

I have a category “training”. The URL of this category is domain.com/category/training/. This is the default WP category page.
I have also created a page called “training”. The URL of this page is domain.com/training/. This is my self created page, which has the same purpose as a category page. Here you can find all posts that get the category “training”.

So far so good.

I would like to keep both pages, as both have advantages and disadvantages.
The domain.com/category/training/ is much simpler and if I want to send someone an overview of all training posts, I send this URL.
The domain.com/training/ page contains more text and I send it to people who also need the text.

The page that is important for Google is the domain.com/training/ and NOT the domain.com/category/training/.
The problem: Internally very often links to the /category/training/. For example via the breadcrumbs[1] or via the tags on the thumbnails[2].

I could of course set up a 301 redirect from domain.com/category/training/ to domain.com/training/.
I could also just remove the category slug. But I don’t want to do that either.
Neither option is an option for me though, as I want to keep the /category/training/.

I hope you understand what I mean and would be happy about a solution.

Greetings!

I just invested in Newspaper and I’m loving it so far!
However I’m rather to new to WordPress and web design in general, so I have some quirks I can’t figure out by myself. They should probably be easy enough to solve – but not for a newbie like me. Also, I can’t really code. So any technical advice you kind people might have will probably fly over my head!

Hope you can help me out!

1. My logo gets blurry when viewed on my mobile
Viewed on a desktop it looks fine, but on my phone it looks blurry. What can I do about this?
This also happens when tried to create a mobile page. Site URL: http://www.cogitate.no

2. Blog post text gets aligned to the left in desktop- and landscape view on an iPad.
I would very much want it to be centered. For reference, I’m using the pre-built Art blog pro theme. Though I stripped this down to almost nothing. However there are still some empty columns that I can’t remove for some reason (?), so maybe it has something to do with this? This is what it looks like: https://i.imgur.com/9WpAm2a.png

3. How can I edit the text in the bottom bar
I think the one that comes with the Art blog pro theme is clean and simple. But I don’t want it to say “Newspaper WordPress Theme by TagDiv”. The name of my website alone would be preferred. I guess this could be easily solved? It looks like this now: https://i.imgur.com/1lR2ao7.png

4. Installing a new font
I bought a font from Commercialtype.com. It’s a .woff file, so I guess it should be fine. I thought I managed to install it, but it just doesn’t look right. This is the instructions that came with the font:

@font-face {
font-family: ‘Lyon Text Web’;
src: url(‘LyonText-Regular-Web.woff2’) format(‘woff2’),
url(‘LyonText-Regular-Web.woff’) format(‘woff’);
font-weight: 400;
font-style: normal;
font-stretch: normal;
}

.LyonText-Regular-Web {
font-family: ‘Lyon Text Web’;
font-weight: 400;
font-style: normal;
font-stretch: normal;

And these are my settings font settings in the Newspaper theme: https://i.imgur.com/Z7KAFnT.png
What am I doing wrong? 🙁

I appreciate having a forum like this where I can turn to when I have questions! Finding out all of these things by myself has proven to be very confusing.

Kind regards, Roger.

Hi,
By default the H1 tag on posts it is set on post title, this can be removed only from the theme files, the path it is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php -> https://i.imgur.com/m9akJXK.png
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi Support,

We are using Newspaper theme on the website http://170.249.236.146/~urboadmin/ with Tag div editor and running in the issues in sticky sidebar.

We are also using infinite scroll on posts and it works well, However when the scroll gets to second post or so it does remove the sticky from the right sidebar of the posts. Can you please take a look at this post http://170.249.236.146/~urboadmin/content/why-americans-refrigerate-eggs-and-other-countries-dont/
and help us to investigate what is the issue which is creating issue for Sidebar not to be sticky when new posts loads using infinite scroll.

We are having this issue on all the website where we installed Newspaper theme and tag div editor.

Please reply as soon as you can with the suggestion or fix.

Hello,

Please let me know what prebuilt website do you have installed.

2. To set the social links for the author, you need to edit the profile from Users => https://i.imgur.com/E7ILNl5.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Cewa9NO.png

5. You need to choose a Single Post Template https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single as you want.
6. For hyperlink underline please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/hyperlink-format/
8. To remove back to the top, please go in Theme Panel -> Template Settings -> ToTop button => https://i.imgur.com/31HFv5Z.png, but if you use mobile theme plugin, then you need to hide or remove it from the theme files => https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/back-to-top-3/
9. Unfortunately, you can’t remove that effect to loading.
11. Please try to deactivate the lazy load: https://forum.tagdiv.com/loading-image-effects/ and see the results!
12. If you have a Standard Prebuilt Website you can change the fonts from Theme Panel -> Theme Fonts => https://www.screencast.com/t/y4NljP3w2uao but if you have Pro Prebuilt Website, then you need to set the font with tagDiv Composer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQvA64uTLkI

For 1,3,4, 7 and 10 please provide a video or some screenshots and more details with your settings.

Thank you!

Hi guys.
I’m restyling my website using Newspaper.
I set up a category page using a template. For each category I set a description using the wordpress feature (category description) and teh content is dinamically pulled inside the template.
Bullets lists are using a different size and I cannot figure out out to fix it.
Can anyone help me? If i remove the bullet list, the size returns to its initial size (consistent with the post)

example without bullet list: https://www.staging2.massimobasso.com/africa/
example with bullet list:https://www.staging2.massimobasso.com/america/alaska/

Thank you

Hi, I have just imported the design of this website and it looks fantastic as well as being very fast loading. Can you please tell me:

1. How to remove the “ART BLOG PRO” LOGO header which displays on my Android but not on my desktop?
2. How to remove The Gallery and Secret of Portrait Paintings images in my posts’ sidebar on my desktop?
3. How to replace the Newspaper by TagDiv copyright notice with my own copyright notice?
4. How to replace the Art In Your Inbox: title that precedes the Subscribe box at the bottom of each page?

Thank you.

Hi findlay, is no need to uninstall it, this will be automatically uninstalled when you install the new pre-build websites. Also please notice that the current design with all pages posts and templates will be removed, so in case that you made some changes those will be lost. For more details and how to prevent to lost those changes please check our guide from here https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezaaE2VP7V8
I hope this will help you!

Hi,
If you are referring to the mobile theme plugin, then just disable it and this will be removed -> https://i.imgur.com/6RPZBm0.png in case that you are referring to a mobile page made with tagDiv Composer, then you need to set first on no mobile page https://i.imgur.com/d8A3G0b.png or no mobile template https://i.imgur.com/aUKt1xg.png and that will no longer apply on that category or single post template.
Thank you!

The breadcrumb schema I think that will always be loaded as long as there are breadcrumbs in the page. You could remove the breadcrumbs, and the schema for them won’t be loaded anymore. The setting from the theme panel – https://prnt.sc/qcen6b will affect predefined templates (post, category etc) For cloud templates you will have to remove the breadcrumb element from them, for example

Hi dansteeby,
The single templates can be assigned only for posts for pages the only page templates are those from dropdown https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ normal the pages are fully made using tagDiv Composer. If you want to set in an individual page a widget sidebar or remove it, just use those options -> https://i.imgur.com/N6zeYCG.png
Thank you!

Hello,

I have been a customer of TagDiv for some years now and love the theme! As of recently, I noticed some changes to my theme and its layout that I did not make. The first big issue I noticed is when a user hovers over the menu, for some reason the category on the further sides (the far left and far right) creates the menu to be shifted in each direction. This only happens when a user is reading a post and not on the homepage. Also, this issue occurs after you scroll down a bit and then scroll back up to make the menu appear.

Here is an example of what I’m referring to: https://www.screencast.com/t/AyrkwkLLeoB

Another issue I noticed is the lazy load feature. For some reason, my website just started doing this and I did not enable it. Is there any way I can remove this feature so all the content is loaded right away?

Here is an example of what I’m referring to: https://www.screencast.com/t/iESvufTieOv

I have tried everything I know and the issues still seem to be here. Can you please help me with getting this reloved? Thank you!

Suppress articles listed in Spotlight from the Feature Articles section
Theme: Newspaper (tagDiv)
Website: https://covertactionmagazine.com

Description:

1. In Edit with tagDiv, I have a Front Page with numerous Flex Bloc 1s.
2. One Flex Bloc is titled Spotlight and shows articles with the Tag:Spotlight
3. Another Flex Bloc is titled Features and shows articles with the Tag:Features
4. I want to be able to show articles in Spotlight, but not have them show up AGAIN in Features, on same Front Page.
5. SOLUTION: Tag articles appropriately with SPOTLIGHT or FEATURE. Sure, but this solution is time consuming to RE-TAG articles all the time, since articles are in the SPOTLIGHT for about a week.
6. DESIRED SOLUTION: 99% of all articles are always tagged FEATURE. Sometimes they are in SPOTLIGHT. For those also tagged SPOTLIGHT, set the FEATURE FLEX BLOC to <<NOT SHOW ANY ARTICLES THAT ARE TAGGED SPOTLIGHT>>. Then, I can rest assured there is not redundancy. And all I have to do is add or remove the SPOTLIGHT tag when alternating articles INTO THE SPOTLIGHT SECTION. The FEATURE section will not also display any articles in the SPOTLIGHT.
7. To do this, there is a feature which I tried to configure, BUT I AM NOT SURE OF THE SYNTAX.

DESCRIPTION OF EFFORT, BUT DID NOT WORK:
1. POST ID FILTER: yes this works, but is time consuming to look up each POST ID…etc.
2. Multiple taxonomies filter: put a “-” before the TAG ID (for SPOTLIGHT)

Among many other things I tried, this obvious one above (solution #2) did not work. I THINK I HAVE THE SYNTAX WRONG, or MULTIPLE TAXONOMIES FILTER does not filter for TAGS. (By the way, I tried both the TAG ID and the word “spotlight.”

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi totojisic100k,
So you want to use the H1 only on blocks ? Not on logo or page title ?
Then how it will be on posts ?
The theme do not have an option to remove the H1 tag entirely form the page, this must be set on logo or on the page title (depends on the page template that you have selected). Also to remove the H1 from those elements you must edit the theme files, for example if you use the default (path -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/page.php) or the page builder with the latest articles (path -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/page-pagebuilder-latest.php), or in case that you use the page with title template (wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/page-pagebuilder-title.php). after you remove the h1 from those templates that you use, then it will be display only the one set by you.
Thank you for your understanding!
