Hello cadarmarius,
First of all, you should remove all of the untested plugins used by you because this is the first step for WordPress debugging. I saw that you ar using the wp-rocket which is known to be a problematic plugin which might cause a lot of unknown issues through the theme. Try to clear all of the caches and compare the results with our demo preview regarding on slider element. If you will bring some differences between these, please let us know and also, provide some useful screenshots so I can see the problem.

So, the plugin works, but it is still concerning that I can’t display my regular WordPress post categories in a hierarchy format. It would be extremely beneficial if someone could log into my admin panel and take a look at my site to see why I still can’t using standard wordress and woocommerce widgets to see hierarchy for categories in sidebars or in the footer area. I have been able to successfully display post categories with hierarchy inside the body of a page, but still can’t display hierarchy correctly in sidebar or footer widgets.

Is it possible for someone to connect and review?
Under Newspaper > Theme Panel > Post Settings, then Default post templates (site wide):
I have selected default for the default site post template.
All other options in this page except the two boxes in Featured Images are turned off (for the purpose of testing).
I go to Posts and click Add New, then verify that the Post Template selected is “From Panel.”
In scrolling down, I notice that there’s a lot of stuff in my Visual Composer.
I go back up and select the Classic Editor and notice a bunch of short code on the page.
Without adding anything at all to the post, I click on Preview. What I see appears to be three columns of post previews. On the third column, a sidebar is covering the column with other content.
Clearly, I have something fouled up in the setup (and it was going so well).
No matter which template I select in the Post Settings panel, I still get three columns of post previews with the third column covered by a sidebar containing ads.

To make a normal post, I can delete the short code and start with a blank page. then and only then do I get a post that’s what I expect to see. I also notice that I can make other changes using the backend editor if I want to add to the content in some pretty significant ways.
Any thoughts would be appreciated as to why I can’t seem to control the default single view post template like the documentation says I should be able to do??

It should fix this problem you are having with the excerpts, please try it and see if it works for you. However that is a huge amount of text to have as an excerpt. The excerpt is meant to be as a preview for the post content

Hello,
I think you are not saving your changes before pressing the view button. The eye button in the page builder is not a preview button as you do not need a preview when editing live. You are already editing in a preview. The eye button will show the page in it;s final form. You have to save changes before otherwise you will not see any changes on the page itself.

Yes, the all three review types are available using that version of the theme. A review can be set for a post using one of these styles, as shown in the guide.

when activating the Plugin Progress Map, the “Post Settings” options (General, Smart List, Review) in the backend of WP posts disappear (while Smart Lists & Reviews still work on the posts´ frontend).
Do you know the problem? Would be great if there´s a workaround.

Since I updated to the latest version of the theme I’ve noticed that the image for the Style 6 layout isn’t displaying correctly. It looks like the image is being shoved to the left hand side.
It displays correctly on some posts, but not all. Hopefully you can help.

Please keep in mind that the SSL should work as properly with our theme. As an example, you will have to check our demo preview, because it was made on SSL and still working fine. Check here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

I am having the same problem as above. In short, my single product page and shop page have lost their left margins and are all over the place. They were working fine but out of the blue appear to have gone to sh*t virtually overnight. I just updated to WordPress 4.8 but not sure if that’s a culprit.
In reviewing your post above, I still appear to have the correct code on the product page which is similar to your example. See below.

I turned off all plugins except for Visual Composer and WooCommerce and the problem still exists. I tried a different theme which did appear to resolve the issue. When I go back to Newspaper 8, the problem returns. So there appears to be an issue between the theme and WooCommerce. I also updated to WP 4.8 which plausibly could have contributed.
I’m quite experienced with WordPress after nearly a decade of using it, but this one has me stumped and frustrated. Would welcome any help you can provide.

I tried what you suggested but diidn’t resolve the problem.
Now I made this test:
– I create a new page
– Insert only a text with title element
– Save the page and exit from TDcomposer
– I open the preview in wordpress and the page has lost formatting
– I re open TDcomposer and it show me “the current content page hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!”
Maybe a problem of theme’s templates setting?

The demos are created custom, each demo is a customized version of the default theme. The demo contains custom code, it’s own settings for the theme panel etc. These will be imported automatically when the demo is installed.
It is considered that one will install the demo that looks best and is appropriate for the website and every aspect will look exactly like the demo preview. You cannot use parts of a demo, this can only be achieved by using the same custom code that it uses. Even like this it may not work properly in all cases.

I have installed the woozone plugin, and imported a few affiliate products from Amazon. Please let me explain the problem i am facing using an example:-
1) Open the product link:-

3) Try searching with this 9780785184447, using both the website search as well as the woocommerce search is located in the sidebar of the “Shop” page. No result comes up.

I still cannot activate my theme, your customer service has been of no help to me, I am still receiving the same message when I try to activate my theme in wordpress- API is down cannot activate theme. I will assume this is a scam and write a review on rip off report regarding my experience. Your customer service sounds like an automated response and not an actual person – it is a very simple question I am asking and I cannot get an answer. The customer service person just leaves a first name and first letter of their last name as a signature, I am not giving them my login information when I don’t even know who they are. Their impersonal response feels like I am talking to a robot and not an actual person. I cannot activate the theme I paid for and other consumers need to be aware of the risk involved making a purchase with your company. I told you on this thread and I told the person via customer service that emailed me that I cannot activate my theme because it says the API is down, they keep telling me to manually activate it and I have been trying everyday. IT DOES NOT WORK AND SHE KEEPS REPEATING HERSELF LIKE A ROBOT TELLING ME TO DO THE SAME THING AND IT SHOULD FIX THE PROBLEM WHEN I HAVE SENT HER SCREEN SHOTS AND SAID I HAVE TRIED IT A MILLION FUCKING TIMES AND IT IS NOT WORKING. I updated to Newspaper 8 and installed tagdiv composer. When I tried to use VC after that it has stoppe dshowing up in the backend and gives me this message ‘You have an outdated version of Visual Composer Design Options. It is required to review and save it.’
I have the latest version of VC (licensed) 5.1.1 and have tried to follow advice elsewhere on the forum but to no avail.
Is this a known issue and can you point in the right direction to fix it.
Also, can you confirm I can still use VC with ver. 8

I made some tests:
1) every box “text with title” in the pages of my site lost formatting with activation of tagdiv visual composer
2) If I create a new page with tagdiv composer and I insert a box “text with title” I saw the box:
– correctly formatted in the preview of tagdiv composer
– without formatting in the preview of wordpress
– without formatting in the online published page
3) If I deactivate the tagdiv composer in the plugins section, the boxes “Text with title” in all pages (old and new) has shown with correct formatting
4) clear cache pages doesn’t recolve the problem

It seems you have reviews for the posts. If posts have reviews this will be displayed on the block modules replacing the other meta data. The reviews are present on your page but they are hidden

I have been playing around with the homepage layout, however when I preview the design the latest articles section (News demo) is still there. I have tried to adapt this section but I am unable to select it in the page builder.
Basically I need to update the “Stay connected” social stats but I have no way of selecting them. Is there any way this can be added/re-added into the page builder if it has been taken out?

Another problem encountered, when changing the number of products to display in the functions.php solved the problem from displaying 4 products to 20, however, this also applied to the related products.

This is a product, when you scroll down to the related products section, you see 20 products, whereas, it should display only 4 products.
I guess I am confused. Why does the sidebar, when enabled, crop all images to the portrait style? Also, is there a recommended size so that the images display at full resolution on the slideshow preview?
And, by the way, thank you for your patience with me on this issue.
