Hi,
We will add an option for disabling the advertisements in the next theme update. There will be a setting added in the theme system status panel. The update will be released soon. Please let me know if that is alright with you.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please check if this code is missing from your .htaccess: https://www.screencast.com/t/iN0R93dD3p from our requirements https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ this requirement is not displayed in System Status.
Usually, after you set the code in .htaccess the WP editor works well.
Also, please check this guide about deny code https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/ ->
Please do a test using only tagDiv plugins and try to open the WP Editor.
Please check the console https://imgur.com/bRYwbvE if you have any errors when you try to open the wp editor, maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.
Thank you
My host provides Lightspeed cache but in my system status, you recommend WP Super Cache. Does it matter which one I use?
Thanks
Everything is set up correctly here, there are no errors or warnings on the Newspaper system status page
Hello @oposum !
Please check if all points are green from Newspaper -> System status. Check that you only edited the correct htaccess file and that you don’t have any other files.
Thank you!
The system status in my theme panel says You should use PHP 7 (recommended: PHP 7.2.2). When I check my C-panel for PHP versions everything up to version 7.4 is at the end of its life. However, PHP versions 8.0 and 8.1 are available.
Do I need to use version 7.2.2 or can I use version 8.0 or 8.1?
Is setting a featured image the solution to this issue? What about posts that do not require images? It’s concerning that the tadDiv team does not seem to have a proper support system in place.
What is the status of the investigation into this issue? It’s disappointing that there is no resolution yet.
Hi,
If you use a plugin like Wordfence, please set it in learning mode.
Please make sure you have the latest version of the theme, 12.3

Hello,
If you get a message like this“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” ,then you can solved this problem in this way:
go in Newspaper> System status and replace the url from: -> https://i.imgur.com/WlRnszw.png
admin.php?page=td_system_status
in
admin.php?page=td_system_status&reset_registration=1
And try after that to activate the theme.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin login (to can login in WordPress admin zone) and the license. We will take a look at the problem and we’ll fix it. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello,
I checked system settings:
WordPress 6.1.1
Apache
Current PHP version: 7.4
memory_limit: 256M
Everything has green checkmark on the system status screen.
I deactivated all plugin, and after activating only the TD composer plugin, the website has the following error (it is translated from Hungarian):
“There has been a serious error on our site. Check the mailbox at the administrator email address for details.
Learn more about WordPress debugging.”
Thank you for your help
Its very obvious that all requirements are at place and server is properly configured with mentioned PHP plugins too. I can see all green in the system status.
As said earlier, the issue is specifically for the Travel guide demo version. Or else I would have got error in other demo formats too, which isnt the case.
Hi, I am unable to install prebuilt demo as shown on https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_travel/ however didnt find any issue in installing the “Default Pro Demo”. There is something wrong with the the design name “Travel Guide”. I am unable to install it. During the process a popup occurs saying
“tagDiv Importer detects that your server is not properly configured.
Don’t worry, the importer will continue to install the demo after you click the OK button.
Steps to verify:
– Please go to the SYSTEM STATUS tab and check if all parameters are green- Verify the permissions on your upload folder
– Contact our support via email contact@tagdiv.com (please provide your product license key)”
Kindly help!

Hi,
I am seeing the following error whenever I try to use the tagdiv composer:
Error at zones: 6(models) : 5(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
It’s also not working.
Everything is up to date on the site, we are using theme version 12.1.1 and we have all green boxes on the system status page.
Can you please let us know how this can be fixed.
Thank you
Hello,
About 2 years ago, I activated my license on a 1st domain.
Recently, I created a 2nd domain on which I assigned this same license as on the 1st domain.
On this 2nd domain and from wordpress, if I leave the default permalink type, I can install prebuilt websites and have my license recognized without any problem.
From the moment I change the type of permalink, I can no longer install prebuilt websites, my license is no longer recognized from the “My license” submenu.
Why am I having this problem on this 2nd domain and not on the 1st domain? It seems to me that I can’t automatically update the theme if my license is not recognized, right ? and at the same time, I don’t want to use the default permalink type on this 2nd domain, just to get updates of theme.
On this 2nd domain, I followed the recommendations here, the system status is perfectly OK.
What are your recommendations for my theme to remain stable regardless of the type of permalink selected with an activated license on this 2nd domain ?
Thanks
Hi!
We are trying to use a key we purchased at envato
Activation seems successful and theme appears registered but at my license section there is message:
No domains associated with your license key
At updates:
An issue has been encountered while trying to validate your license key
Please reset the key from the System status tab and try to activate it again, or contact our customer support team at contact@tagdiv.com.
Is it a problem of communication between our server and tagdiv server?
Thanks!
Why am I seeing this as I have already purchased the NewsPaper theme? Need your urgent support?
Please reset the key from the System status tab and try to activate it again, or contact our customer support team at contact@tagdiv.com.
If you don’t have a valid license key, you can get one now and continue to enjoy the full benefits of this great product.
Hello @LinkBaits7 !
When you update the theme, please disable all extra plugins, and after doing the update.
Please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hello,
Our site has been getting infected all the time http://www.westfaironline.com. I have worked with our hosting system wpengine to have it clean. But every time they clean it, it gets infected again. Here is what they have to say:
Ok so the main issue here is that their Newsmag theme is very outdated:
Warning: Vulnerable tagDiv Theme Newsmag theme found at ./wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/tagdiv-config.php – Version: 5.2.3 – Please update this theme or switch it immediately: https://wpscan.com/vulnerability/038327d0-568f-4011-9b7e-3da39e8b6aea.
Sadly with this malware if the vulnerable code is present then the injection comes back right away after cleaning it. The theme needs to be updated.
I checked the version info from within their wp-admin panel and it reported that there was an issue with their license key. The theme is also quite outdated (they are using 5.2.3 but they need to update to version 12 to get this patched).
So I’m afraid that the client is going to have to either contact TagDiv and get their license key issue sorted out or, alternatively, switch their theme:
—-
Please reset the key from the System status tab and try to activate it again, or contact our customer support team at contact@tagdiv.com.
Can you please let me know how I can get this resolve.
Thank you
Dan V.
