- NewsmagRequirements for Newsmag
Dear Support,
I m using WP Super Cache on my website.I think that this plugin it works ok but I have this error below in newspaper theme system status :
No caching plugin detected – for best performance we recommend using WP Super Cache.
Is it normal ? I make test on cache test and everything works ok.
Ps: Scalahosting said me : That issue shouldn’t be caused by a server configuration. At least no errors or anything else related is being logged on the server. Maybe you could try to contact the plugin’s author in case there are any server requirements.
Could you please help me?
Thanks in advance
Best Regards
Andreas

Hi,
So I understand that you are not able to upload images to the media library. Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the mentioned parameters if necessary, according to this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks
all is fine at system status and everything is green. Its working on staging version on the same server , we are using a dedicated server with 16 gb ram
Hi,
1. This is probably just a temporary problem with the Envato server. You should simply wait for little while and try again to activate the theme.
2. Those are the steps you should take to try and solve the problem. Check the permissions on your upload folder as suggested. More information here
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/
The second step is to make modifications to these parameters if needed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
The last step if you have made all the above mentioned changes and the result is the same, is to contact us at the mentioned email address and provide all the necessary information (admin login, FTP access). Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thanks

Hello joaquinh,
Please keep in mind that the first step in WordPress debugging is to disable all the untested plugins which might interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. You should disable all of them and make a new clean install from scratch, via FTP way and check the results. Also, consult your system status panel and check if the parameters are according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Rob,
This could be either a caching problem or memory allocation.
Please make sure you only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and make sure you follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Let us know if you still encounter problems.

Hi,
You can simply de-register your theme from the current domain from the system status
– https://www.screencast.com/t/uChS68YT52
And then you can activate it on the new domain using the same key.
Thanks
Hello aberniz,
I think this is because the theme has not been properly installed, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ First of all, try to make a full backup to your database and then clear all the caches and install the latest theme version with this method and check the results. Hello,
What version of php are you using? what plugins are you using? There are many factors that can influence this.
If slow loading is your problem I would start at the memory allocation. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Also the recommended version of php is 7.0
Then you will have to optimize your site loading speed using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thank you!

Hello ervatne,
Please notice that our demos are too easy to install. You should consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-installing-demos/ Also, if the problem persists, you should check the system status to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and then you should check if you have some permission for installing at your dedicated server. All of these things should have to be discussed with your hosting provider.
Hope this helps!

Same here with Greek language. I am loading the translations and some times it gets stuck to the loading icon after pressing Save Settings and nothing happens. Some times it saves the settings but no translations are loaded in the fields below. Not using CDN too. System Status is Ok.
Any solution?

I’ve been changing out logos, background images, etc. Sometimes they take, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes only on one page and not the others. Very weird. I’m using WP-Engine. Also looking at the theme system status. Says WP Memory limit could be increased from 40MB. Or max_input_vars is low. Would any of this be effecting this?
