I just upgraded to 9.7 and all page templates are now moved from the theme to the td-composer plugin. Here is the relative path:
td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/
Prior to the upgrade, all page templates were in the root of the parent theme:
“page-pagebuilder-title”
“page-pagebuilder-latest.php”
I want to override this page template from the child theme:
“td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/page-pagebuilder-latest.php” – “page-pagebuilder-latest.php” –
I created a folder structure in my child theme as such: “td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/” but the page templates in my child theme are not overriding the legacy files in the plugin.
How can I override the moved files to the legacy folder in the td-composer plugin from my child theme?

I got notified from Envato that the update to Newspaper 9.7 is already available.
I updated my localhost version and tested my custom headerstyle-10.php
As expected it wasn’t working.
I figured out that the headerstyle-10.php is now located under plugins td-composer/legacy…..
I modified the “new” headerstyle-10.php there and now it seems to be working.
The thing is that my Childtheme is now unnecessary so I removed it completly.
The only problem that I got now, is that every time td-composer is updated, I have to manually replace the headerstyle-10.php in the td-composer folder.
Is there another steady solution?

Hi team! I am facing an issue with the TD composer plugin. Activating it doesn’t allow me to use the Ninja Forms plugin. The forms I have created keep loading and never appear. Although when I disable the plugin, the forms show up perfectly. Please tell what can be the issue and how I can fix this. Thanks!

I have again a problem with memory size when i go to edit a page in my site.
The memory limit is in 256 and it was working until now.
This is the message of the error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16384 bytes) in /homepages/18/d733391872/htdocs/clickandbuilds/DeportesAvila/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2007
Also, TD composer doesn’t work neither. It is allways charging.

Hello,
I worked on the homepage of the site with TD Composer.
The home page is displayed very well on the computer.
On the other hand, on the mobile version I only have the last block (the last articles).
I also have this problem for the contact page, which is displayed on the computer but there is absolutely nothing on the mobile version.

I have created a revslider and I tried to use the Element “Revolution Slider” to add to my page.
I can add but the design gets scrambled, the slider images get cut in half, very weird.
So, I tried to add the [revslider shortcode by myself inside a “Column text” element. IT WORKED. Slider shows perfectly.
But then, when I exit and reopen the TD Editor, I get error “Reply To: Error at rows: 7(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content”.
Then, I go to the WordPress editor, remove the shortcode I added [revslider… I can now edit the page via TD Composer, but I’m out of Revslider.
Not sure what to do.
I’m sharing the page below with the TD Composer slider code.
If you go to the second slide, you can clearly see that the image is cut in half.
Please advise.

How do I edit the header on a blog? I used the demo “Newspaper Travel Demo” and wanted to add a shadow to the bottom of the header.
When I open TD Composer and klik to the Header Manager, I could not edit the header of the demo results.

I recently added the AMP and mobile theme plugins, but now some of my pages’ content aren’t displaying on mobile.
I have tried using the TD composer but it is saying that “the current content hasn’t been created by the tagdiv composer”.
Am I right that the pages content will only be displayed if it has been composed using the TD composer?

I want to make the logo for header style 3 a little bit larger. I know ideally I would choose a different header style, but I don’t want a different one. I’m also not using tagdiv composer so I don’t think I can use the header builder. I found a topic about the same problem and you gave the following code to fix it:

And later

max-width: none;
}
But this doesn’t do anything for me. Could you have a look at my website and tell me with what CSS I can make the logo just a bit bigger?

Hello,
I am trying to insert an AdRotate Group in my Newspaper 9 theme but it is not showing.
I have tried adding the code into the theme panel then adding an Ad Box using the TD composer.
However, when using the same technique with a single AdRotate ad it is displaying fine.

That involves a lot of work as my previous twentytwelve based WP site was very content rich (with a lot of pages) and I was expecting to be able to simply tweak the pages to to fit a new layout. Your “column text” comment has cleared up a lot of confusion.
I guess i am going to have to re-create every page in TD, copy each of my pages and paste (as text) into a column text element.
I am getting the following message “The current content has not been created by TagDivi Composer”.
The theme is great and is probably ideal for sites being built from scratch – I probably would not have bought it if I’d known the implications of converting an established WP website.
Now I understand why web designers/developers that I’ve contacted (that use Newspaper) Were insisting on charging by the page… Knowing how WP works it didn’t make sense, It does now!

I strongly recommend using the TD Composer for posts if you want to make your post pages to be wide. You need to create your personal single cloud template using the Cloud Library according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

I did just notice that I am not seeing “edit page” or “edit with TD Composer” at the top. It’s showing on my other site. Not sure why it’s not showing here.
I had this problem after updating from v9.1 to v9.6.1, but we also experienced it after editing a page in 9.1 before updating — we’d edited the About page probably ~100 times, and after a routine edit, the page became broken and would no longer load in TD Composer. TagDiv really needs to include better error messaging for this sort of thing. Why are you showing an error message if no one, including your developers, can say for certain what it means or where the problem is?
The problem we had after updating came from our custom child theme code — We updated our child header.php based on the newest header.php in Newspaper but still had the super helpful “Error at zones: 5 (models) : 1 (dom)” message when opening a brand new Page in TD Composer. Turns out the existence of <div class="tdc-content-wrap"> in our custom footer template was enough to break Composer. Oops. Changing that to <div class="td-container td-footer-bottom-full"> fixed the problem and we could edit Pages again.
The About page problem was even more fun to track down. Long story short, my manager had edited a raw HTML section and not closed off a <div> with a matching </div> and saved the page. TD Composer then started throwing the “Error at zones” error and the page was no longer editable. The fix? Take the offending raw HTML string from the text editor, base64_decode() it, rawurldecode() it, fix the markup, rawurlencode() it, base64_encode() it, paste it back in the text editor, and save. Now the page is editable again. Seems like maybe not the greatest system.
