Hi Simion,
Frankly speaking is not really my idea, but one of the co-owner of Jeumpanews site likes this theme concept which displayed on the Newsmag showcase 🙂 She reads The Guardian online and she likes the theme display. So when she saw this showcase on Newsmag, she keep asking me to make something similar to that.
Anyway I told her that we need to update the theme, but she keeps asking if the new Newspaper theme can be tune to something similar to that, I told her let me ask first. And that is how I ask you a couple of days ago.
I preferred new functions (Newspaper 8) but she preferred looks (Newsmag).. 😀
If you think with the new Newspapaper 8, I can make something similar to this look, I stick with Newspaper 8 all the way 🙂
I have to blame the person on tagDiv who puts this theme on Newsmag showcase … 😀
but I have to admit it is very nice 😉

I see where you posted on someones else’s thread that you could give them the previous version of the theme. Is that possible? Im 100% confident the latest update 8.7.2 has caused the slow loading times.
Am inteles. O sa mai astept atunci. Apropo, am renuntat la VC si acum folosesc pluginurile voastre TD composer + multicomposer. Se misca mult mai repede, fara cloudflare ca am observat ca fara e mult mai rapid. Felicitarile mele!

Iar pe pingdom de la 1.5s/2s acum variaza intre 0.4s/0.7s. Folosesc Cloudways + WP Rocket, puteti sa le recomandati cu incredere!

Si ce sa mai tineti cont la viitoarele update-uri la AMP este logo-ul. Se pare ca nu isi pastreaza proportia.
Cat despre plignul WP Give, am vorbit cu ei si astazi au lansat un update care a rezolvat incompatibilitatea cu tema iar acum apar setarile post-ului, stil etc.

Still doesnt help the speed. Before the update the speed was fine.
Hello, I updated to the new 8.7.2 from 8.6. Everything was updated through ftp and everything seems to work correctly with all my old settings on the theme panel. However, when trying to edit a page and selecting “edit with TD composer” from the top bar on the actual page weblink the page just turns white (blank) and nothing happens. Also, trying to go to the pages section and selecting a page, it no longer has the Blue edit with td composer button i can select. It just shows the raw info within that page. Any idea on what i can do to correct that?
Deactivate and delete the tagdiv composer (and tagdiv multipurpose if you use it) and then install the updated ones that came with the new theme version.

I do the backup and install the envato plugin. I get the info, that a update are
“Update Available”. If I click to this botton, nothing happends. Perhaps You have a idea.
If I download the new update and will upload via plugin I get a error information.
Is it the only way to go via FTP ?

Since updating last night, which by the way I REALLY despise the new TagDiv Composer “Have to Change”. It has done nothing but cause be headaches. I cannot use Tabs and now my responsive site is unresponsive. The slider, the second one since the top one only has one article, does not work. This is since the update to 8.7.
I DO NOT WANT TO USE TAGDIV MOBILE TEMPLATE. I want your stuff to work as should a responsive site and not you telling me the page info I should use because YOU want to make it faster.

Hello, after taking the newest update I am not able to disable td_composer without getting multiple WP_Booster errors. I have the site built on VC composer and the page will not render without td_composer being active. Since both are active some of the VC shortcodes are removed. How can I remove td_composer and remove the WP booster errors? Thanks so much.

Every time there is an update the theme wp-admin gets broken or? After the update, the wp-admin is there as I can view the source code, however it is not viewable for some reason. Last two updates I was able to fix it by uninstalling the theme through FTP then deactivate all plugins then upload fresh version and it worked. This time not so lucky. I uploaded the original theme I was using before I purchased this on which is simple and never any problems (WordPress twenty-10 theme). Not sure if it is my server I am hosted on (siteground.com) or the theme itself. Hopefully, somebody will give me some insight on this problem, if not I will just keep the twenty-10 theme until I come up with another theme I might want to try.

I have tried to download again and update to 8.7, but the same problem. I mean the items work but some things dissapear.

You can see the image, it is a food product item, and befor I have the border radious in order to make it a circle not square, and now even if I change this radious the image is the same (square).

Above “oportunidades internacionales” and above the other two items there were three icons in each sentence, but now nothing. Above “mi objetivo es ayudarte” there were 5 yellow stars, and about the testimonials there was one ” above each testimonial. It worked fine this afternoon but when I tried to edit from the backend a moment ago, everything began to mess up. I have updated to the latest version of WordPress (4.9.4) and Newspaper Theme (8.7.2).

The mobile plugin is not updated for a long time. The site was working fine with the mobile plugin before. But now after the recent WordPress update, the mobile editor behaves very oddly. This is happening in the mobile version of the site, not in the responsive version. The content created inside the <div> tags is getting a <p> tag automatically and it is giving me a layout issue. I use a Newsletter plugin. I inserted it using the shortcode in the mobile editor. The form has some hidden fields and the hidden fields get a p tag automatically and occupy a large white space in the middle of the form. Please check it and give a solution. The form can be found at the URL: https://www.catholicgallery.org/mass-readings-today-drb/. In other pages, the test inside the div tag should be aligned inline. Instead, it takes its own line.

The theme by itself does not have an auto-update option, that is done through an Envato provided plugin

That is a plugin provided by Envato which can be used for other themes as well, not specific to theme.

Hi,
The theme licence can be used on one website according to Envato specifications. As long as the theme is installed and activated on only one website, there will be no problem.
The theme has an option to reset the activation in the theme system status, in case you want to switch domains or websites

So simply reset the key, install them theme in the new location and activate it again. There will be no problem in this case.
Please download the latest theme package (8.7.2) and install it. There were many fixes and improvements made in this version

I’m not talking about categories. I’m talking about the post it self.

There are a couple of plugins that do this in WP, but I couldn’t get it to work with this theme.

That is most definitely not due to the latest update of the theme.
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hello, made a few name changes in the theme i would like to know where in the code i can comment out your autoupdate and add mine. into the theme. so the client can update the theme .. but the name changes stay the same in the theme.
