My social counter is 0 in facebook and google+, but is correct in Twitter. I have updated the template Newspaper and social counter. After clearing the cache follows the problem. What I can do?

Dear Sirs,
I recently updated the theme from Version: 6.7.2 to 7.2 and I am using the menu settings below;
Header Style: Style 7 – Hybrid Menu on right with logo
Top Bar & Menu – Off
STICKY MENU: Always at the top of the pages
I am also using the same CSS code you kindly sent to me on May 5, 2016 (see above), but the top of the menu displays a white space (please see: http://www.screencast.com/t/MwS9e8kc0). I removed the CSS code but the white space is still displayed.
However, on my local version of the site using the old theme (Version: 6.7.2), the menu is correctly displayed when I remove the CSS code (please see: http://www.screencast.com/t/M0cU45aF) and insert the CSS code (please see: http://www.screencast.com/t/neEI8pDOmyX).
Could you kindly let me know the best and easiest way to fix this?

Unfortunately, this type of plugin is not tested with our theme and we cannot say for sure if it will work 100% without any problems with the theme and therefore we cannot make any recommendation in this regard, sorry! Maybe with the latest update of this plugin appeared some conflicts with the core theme and that’s why will not working as properly. Being an untested plugin, we cannot provide support for it because this is not covered by our support. Perhaps, to make this plugin working as property with our theme is needed to make some adjusting in the code and this involve custom work and this type of services is unavailable at the moment, sorry! There is no activation code for slider revolution as it is a free version and only paid versions can be activated and updated automatically through the WP dashboard. The version we provide cannot be updated from WP and it cannot be registered as there is no activation code for free versions. W3 total cache was our recommended cache plugin for a long time but from a few updates back they changed their code completely and that caused issues with our theme and we could not keep hacking our theme code to keep up with their changes so we decided to switch recommended plugins.

I have an odd problem – today I bought and installed the theme (from a demo), and some pages were not updating with the new theme. I figured maybe it was my browser cache but after clearing it, it did not change. I went so far as to put CloudFlare into Development Mode and then pausing it, as well as removing the Leverage Browser Caching code from my .htaccess file to no avail.
Some posts have updated, but the majority are still stuck on the old theme and I’m not sure what else to do at this point.

Hi, my website recently had a problem with sections that were set to only show posts with certain tags, due to an update in the Events Calendar. I set the page blocks to show tags which I had used in event posts from the Events Calendar, but the Events Calendar changed their tag system, and those posts no longer show up in your search. I wish to use smart list 6 for my post in order of 1-10 Next Next pages.
I created the new post and had 10 headlines for each paragraph 1-10 and selected style 6.
But even after the update and save, all 10 points appear on the same page and post is not appearing like style 6 template in next next order.
Also, I have a starting paragraph which is an introduction and want it to appear on all 1-10 pages on top.
Pls guide what am I missing.

Unfortunately this is customization and there is no update proof way of altering the theme files. You hafve to do it on every update or use the patches provided in the theme package. If the files modified did not get changed, then you do not need to replace them. Every theme update comes with a patch of the modified files. If the files you modified are not among the ones in the patch, you do not have to re-apply your customization as you will not replace those files if you use the patch files.

My site switched to Newspaper in 2015 and found the set up of the theme pretty easy, using Visual Composer and other elements to design my homepage – http://www.tottenhamblog.com – and post templates – http://www.tottenhamblog.com/2016/07/12/done-deal-spurs-finally-sign-vincent-janssen/
I now urgently need to edit both my homepage and post template layouts but can’t get to the page where these can be altered. I’m not sure if it’s me just being incredibly stupid (extremely possible) or whether there’s been some loss of functionality.
The site is up to date with WordPress and on Newspaper 7.2. I updated Visual Composer yesterday also – which incidentally seems to have stopped my social buttons in the sidebar from displaying.
Can anyone help?

Unfortunately we cannot say for sure if the implementation you use is compatible with the theme or not. We only recommend our own Instagram widget: https://forum.tagdiv.com/instagram-widget/
If your implementation worked before, try to identify what was changed since then. Maybe a plugin you installed, an update you made (automatic updates are the worst as it could have been a plugin update that caused this but if your updates were set to automatic, then it;s hard to figure out which one broke it)
The best thing to do is disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test the Instagram feed again. Unfortunately if the problem is still there, I won’t be able to help as I have no idea of how you implemented the feed in the first place and customization is not part of the theme support unfortunately.

Hi,
The patch is used if you update your theme from version 7.1.1 to 7.2. You simply need to copy the files and folders from the patch overt to your main theme folder so not all of your files will be replaced. This is usefull if you have customization done to the theme files. If you don;t have customization then you can use the default update process and ignore the patch.

The block settings are not found in the visual composer plugin settings. They are found on the page edit itself. When you add a block on a page. Please access your page containing the elements and press the green pencil button that appears when you hover over the element: http://screencast.com/t/yKSSu8uJUQxt
The settings you want to change are page specific. The setting cannot be found in the general settings of the plugin.

You can try one more thing before scratching everything and starting over. Try to rest your database with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/
It will however delete any posts/pages or content, but reinstalling everything from scratch will have the same effect so it;s worth a shot.

Sorry about that, I’ve made a mistake in my previous answer. Indeed this filter http://screencast.com/t/KKXXxN7Cz1 displys most popular posts from last 7 days but does not take into consideration post’s published date. Unfortunately we don’t have a filter which combine post’s published date and post’s views at the moment. We may implement this feature in future updates but for the moment I can’t promise anything.
