Missed the second issue,
Your version of visual composer is too old to work properly with version 4.5 of wordpress. Please update your visual composer plugin by disabling and deleting the current installed plugin files and install the new version from the theme panel here: http://screencast.com/t/YXbwFSVR

What version of Visual Composer you’re using? Please make sore that you’re using V 4.11.2 of Visual Composer which is included in theme’s path: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ then test again.

Hi,
Unfortunately I can’t say for sure what and how you customized the template and what you added or removed. If you are the one that customized the template, you should undo your last modification to restore the file to it’s previous state. Unfortunately when it comes to modifications, you have to be always have a back-up of your work as there is no update-proof way of altering the theme files.
If your customization is not made with code and it;s just visual composer you have trouble with, please provide more details and a link so we can inspect so I can provide a better answer as I can;t say much based on what information you provided.

We made a general presentation for mobile theme which includes both mobile responsive and mobile theme plugin. The video was intended to be a general overview of the theme’s mobile features.
We will update the documentation in shortest time possible with another video only for mobile theme plugin.

i see that when we use caching plugin, the view is not getting update, this is due to the calculation is happen on pageview basis..
i’m thinking to use WP-Ajax to send the page ID to a page (which not cached) in order to grab the pageview..
can you give me a clue of which script that handles the view calculation which field did it use to store ?

There is not a simple way to achieve that. If you change thumb’s size you have to also change the size of container where will be placed. This may not be required in each situation but sometimes layout may be affected by a higher value so you have to update it.
Each customization involve some coding skills and if you’re not aware of the steps you have to take in this regard my advice is to look for someone who can help you with implementation as we can’t offer custom work at the moment, we can only point a way of how to achieve the desired rezult.

if you say you modified the theme code, it is possible you did not replace all files when updating to not lose your customization? Please make a back-up of your modification and replace all the theme files and check again. you need to make the update properly. If the problem is still there after a clean update and the theme tested in it;s default state, without other plugins or customization, then you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can investigate this issue. What type of version do you are using now? To be sure, first of all, you will have to make a full backup to all your data and then you can try to update it. Regarding on your CSS, you can simply copy and paste from your Custom CSS area and if you have made some customizations through PHP files, you will have to be aware of all of these and which types of PHP file you have made these modifications. Please try to update your social counter to the latest version of it (and the latest version is 4.1). So, if you are using the latest version of the theme Newspaper 7.1.1, your will have to deactivate/delete your old version of Social Counter and then just install it from Premium plugin area, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/6Tf7rcQkO Try to clear all your caches and check the results.

That happens because speed booster moves the css generated by the theme in footer. When the page is loaded first time is called the css from style.css file then is loaded the css from theme panel. To avoid that delay you can insert all css generated by the theme and also your custom css in style.css file.
That css can be found in page’s source here: http://screencast.com/t/ECrMO343o Now you have this custom css moved to footer http://pastebin.com/k9rwZA4x so try to paste it in style.css then test again. Note that if you make any changes in theme panel that css will be changed and you have to update it again. The css changes when you modify colors or fonts.

I want to change font size and type for article titles on modules and blocks. I cant access the settings for the same in the theme panel. There is no drop down for “Module and Block article title”. the other font settings are opening fine. Request a solution. I just updated to you most recent newsmag release
Is there a way to add some code that will open “Source” and “Via” URLs in a new window. I don’t want to lose readers from the site, chasing a good story.
Preferably in a custom CSS so that I don’t lose changes in an update. Happy if this is a rule across all URLS on site.
Secondly,
On the mobile theme, the block quote text is horrible colour / size for my readership. It reverts to default.
Is their a way to customise it like I can in the fonts on desktop. I would like to Bold it, change size, and colour, as well as state the font to be used.

Please upodate your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and also update your theme plugins by disabling and deleting files for your current plugins and installing the ones provided inside the theme package
If the problem is still there after the update, please also disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.

We had no reports of this yet as the method we used on both http and https allows for both loading methods but if this is the case and google can no longer provide the fonts with this method, we will fix it in a future version. if your method works fine, use it and I will add this on our list for further investigation and if we find that it needs fixing it will most definitely get done.
As for the update, unfortunately there is no update proof method of modifying the theme files.

Yes, that is what i thought like i said, but again, does it mean if we have deleted our old themes after installing Newspaper 7 we are unable to retrieve all time count. For example, my old theme, (free version) don’t have count_views code and plus i also deleted it. I thought with activating Ajax Views Count, post views are retrieved from server, as it says in description: Enabling this feature will update the post view count using ajax on both pages and single post page. This feature is best used if you have a caching plugin active (yes i have from first day). On pages it will retrieve from the server the correct post view count. On single post page this feature will also increment the post view counter. Anyway, tnx for your support and help but i couldn’t make this work, i will just turn it off.

As I replied in the other topic, the issue is a caching issue. It does not seem to be the case anymore. As for visual composer, please update your plugin to version 4.11.2 by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Please also update your social counter plugin as well because the old version from newspaper 6 does not work in newspaper 7.
