The same way how you install it the first time you bought the theme,for updates you just have to overwrite the old files with the new ones from ur FTP …Smh

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have a style like that. We will consider this for future updates if more people request this. Note that we have over 150 feature request on our list and we have to pick very carefully what we implement.

Removing that code from the header file does indeed remove the duplicate og:image tag, for those who care about that.
And so Mr. Kronos is not crazy after all … 😉

Hi, folks
minor issue with latest version of theme; where a duplicate open graph image tag is being inserted into the head, which should not be there when using a separate SEO plugin.
In header.php, lines 17-26 seem to be the culprit, and are not needed for those running something like YOAST SEO, which already inserts og:image tag:

}This is the only code I could find with quick search which may be the culprit of adding duplicate og:image tag above the YOAST SEO (or other) plugin section. I would presume the query is dropping in an echo, regardless of whether it’s a video or not (in my case no videos at this time).
I will go so far as call this a bug, since it’s not an optional choice. I am going to try removing that block and see if it fixes issue. More later.
Well, the new update fixes bugs and customer requests for the theme framework which has nothing to do with VC. But of course you can look at the changelog to see what changed.
I believe the hold up on new version is the various requests folks have made for things related to VC specifically which need to be tested, as well as overall compatibility with WP 4.0 which will be out any day now.
I’m wondering the same thing as well,because the last update i’ve not touch because there was no VC update as promise…

Looked at your site and pulled the source – your OG tags are present and look to be in good working order. The problem you’re having sounds more like the Facebook app setup is erred. Make sure you have your domains and content type setup correctly in your Facebook app, as that can give you the error described.
Also remember that the Facebook debug tool often requires several refreshes with newly scraped data to update the cache on Facebook. Try five or six times and see if that helps. In either case, Newspaper is doing what it should. Also try to repeat the process on several posts and see if any differences are found in the results.
No, I’m actually getting the same thing as you, duplicate og:image tags that both point to the featured image. And I’ve actually dropped Yoast on my primary site thanks to the numerous issues the plugin has. SEO Ultimate is working nicely. But I’ve tried both to see if this issue is affected by it, no dice.
Facebook is working perfectly. Also using Jetpack publicize. Until this last theme update the google plus posts were excellent, as were Facebook and twitter. Now, the latter two are fine but google is missing the featured image. Even more strange, to me, is that when manually posting to google it only shows my logo, an ad, and the author image as options. That’s whether I post to google via my ESSB plugin or manually from my google profile.
My point is, if it’s google having an issue then that was some pretty fantastic timing that the issue started on the post immediately following the theme upgrade. No clue how that works out, if it is the theme, but I gotta go with a plausible theory in this case, not some far-fetched coincidence.
Hey guys, after the 4.1 update we were promised a VC update with the next update. Then 4.2 was released with no VC update included. Now with 4.2.1 we STILL have no update for this plugin.
I request you either release the new update today, as promised and flaked several times already, or explain what problems the new version of VC is giving you to make it work with the theme. Don’t leave your customers in the dark and don’t fail to follow through.
Keep in that you’ve recommended to several users here not to purchase the full VC plugin because of the compatibility work you do to port the plugin to the theme. Leaves us little option to get around being blown off…
Have I mentioned the stacks are great yet? Could use a couple more honestly. Thanks.
Having the same kind of problem since the 4.2.1 update, Chris. Mainly on Google+ sharing. Using Yoast and Easy Social Share Buttons from Code Canyon the image attached to the share is my logo, not the featured image. All posts get a featured image and this started happening immediately following the latest theme update.

First of all tagDiv Social Counter Version 2.2 cause massive loading time. When is activated the main page have big latency. Here is my test with the plugin on:

Also on the main page the navigation have disappeared after the update. I use nginx on Ubuntu vps server.
