Hi,
This will be fixed in the next update. Currently shortcodes entered in the composer text elements will be rendered, you could follow this topic where a fix is provided
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/shortcode-in-text-element-convertered-to-html/
The next theme version will contain this fix. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hello,
We’d like to customize the default Featured Image Placeholder — but noticed that the default thumbnails are in the Newspaper theme folder (wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/no-thumb).
Is there a place that we can store default thumbnail images so that they will not be overwritten when we update Newspaper theme?
Thanks.

I did check the system, and I finally found my error in the modification of the plugin. So now it works!
I did notice that you still have to use column text or text with title to get the ShortCodes to both render and still be editable. When I tried HTML code or another of the element types, all I got back was a simple echo of the shortcode.
It would be nice if this was included in an update and that you added an external shortcode element to make it a little easier to use…
Best,
rvtravel.
Hello,
I checked the documentation on this link you provided, and everything is configured properly, but I am still getting the spinner when I want to update anything in the Theme Panel.

Hi,
In the past week or so the theme has been showing issues on Safari. On Chrome (my main browser) I have no issues, however, quite a few users have reported issues when accessing the website on Safari (or mobile). I haven’t changed anything in the them nor done any other updates, so not sure what’s the reason.
This is my website: https://mystartupland.com
Any help, it’s greatly appreciated.
Luca
Hello,
Thanks for your help. I’ve already done this update in the code.
But for example, I need to remove the H1 tag on the title “SéduireUnHomme.fr” for an H2 :
https://www.seduireunhomme.fr/
How can I do that?
Thanks,
Hi,
Please check to have the last version of tagDiv Composer and the status active, also update and active the the tagDiv Cloud Library
https://www.screencast.com/t/i3vNeeZ5ke
Thank you for your understanding.
Is WPBakery included in the latest newspaper theme update? Or it’s a completely standalone premium plugin?
Since updating to Newspaper 9.1, I have an issue with various plugins (all updated to latest). An example is LayerSlider WP which when you enter the shortcode, tagdivcomposer converts the shortcode to the following which in turn causes an HTTP error 500. It happens with some other plugins also. When I roll back to 8.8, problem disappears. <script type=”text/javascript”>var lsjQuery = jQuery;lsjQuery(document).ready(function() { if(typeof lsjQuery.fn.layerSlider == “undefined”) { if( window._layerSlider && window._layerSlider.showNotice) { window._layerSlider.showNotice(‘layerslider_1’,’jquery’); } } else { lsjQuery(”#layerslider_1”).layerSlider({createdWith: ‘6.7.1’, sliderVersion: ‘6.7.6’, allowFullscreen: false, firstSlide: ‘random’, shuffleSlideshow: true, skin: ‘v6’, navPrevNext: false, navStartStop: false, navButtons: false, showCircleTimer: false, skinsPath: ‘https://bikesamag.co.za/wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/static/layerslider/skins/’}); } }); </script> \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\\\

Hi,
Thank you very much for your appreciation. We try to add new features with each update, but we have to be careful what is added however, and also what will be the consequences.
1. Can’t say I know much about live blogging. I read some articles online to see what this presumes. The theme doesn’t have such an option at the moment, we haven’t made any tests with plugins that can offer the option unfortunately. As for plans to add this in the theme, I am not aware of them.
2. For implementing infinite scrolling in the post page there are plans. This is a much requested feature and a solution will be found to add this in the theme by default, as soon as possible.
3. For caching we tested the WP Super Cache (works properly with mobile theme plugin if used), but other caching plugins may work as well.
4. So something to compare items in a table like format or similar, that is not available in the theme or composer. I can’t make any plugin recommendations unfortunately, test the plugins you can find which can offer this functionality.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately we could not fix the issues until the release of update 9.1 , sorry for the inconvenience, we work on it, and the fix will come with the next update.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
The tagDiv Composer is make only for pages not posts.
In order to use Instagram on the post you can use a widget in sidebar and set it on post or a tagDiv Cloud Library that can by edit with tagDiv Composer if you want to make some changes.
1. with widget :

update and see the results https://www.screencast.com/t/hcdMTT4b

Hello DJJones,
This issue happens in particular cases and is tied to a specific server and PHP configuration. There are a few steps in solving this issue, however.
1. Check file permissions: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/
2. change PHP version on your host and check security modules.
3. comment out the check for the error from the WordPress code:
https://scotty-t.com/2011/03/28/fix-for-the-plugin-does-not-have-a-valid-header/
4. Install the plugins via FTP: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-manually-update-wordpress-plugins-via-ftp/
Hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hi,
Either manually enter the verification code in the theme main header file, between the HTML head tags (can be done in a child theme)
Or easier, simply enter the code in this section – https://www.screencast.com/t/rMkLP4yW
It will be loaded in the theme header if entered there. The code will also not be lost after a theme update.
Or maybe use a plugin that can insert or load code in the header. But this would not be necessary if there is a theme panel section that can do that.
Thanks
Hello drang,
I guess that you are referring to the Image Light Box on the Modal image, right? So, if you use TD Composer just copy the image URL (https://www.screencast.com/t/ajO2CZqGlgK) and paste it in the Single image > General > Image link https://www.screencast.com/t/yCBE2COZI
If you make it simple post after add media and choose your image click on it (on image) and click on edit button Click the Modal image on and select from the tagDiv image style Center Full width and click update https://www.screencast.com/t/krhUdxXs2mts.
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you.
Hi,
There seams to have something that block the AMP.
Please try to deactivate all plugins that are not tested with our theme, update AMP, re-save permalinks, clear all the caches and check the results.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you.
I deleted the M1 section on my page that listed the most recent posts with a list of categories at the top to click and update the list (with the “load more” option at the bottom), and now I just use the regular post loop option and I think that fixed it.
Something was preventing M1 from updating posts on my page on mobile devices (iphone/fire tablet). I also added Nginx Helper plugin that purges cache, maybe that had something to do with it (?). But it should have worked with your WP Super Cache plugin settings you provided to begin with. The website is https://distresssedvolatility.com. I used to be able to show multiple categories next to the latest news title, which was cool because it would load the most recent posts for each category. Now I don’t do it.

Interesting thread, I’ll follow up in case of updates.
Any idea when this will be fixed, it wasn’t done with the latest update? It’s been nearly 2 months and it is causing UX issues and SEO issues since it’s not making it any H tag at all.
Thanks for your help!

Just mark it as fixed and ignore. Or else, put your site on maintenance mode using a maintenance mode plugin next time you update the theme (and so on).
Hi,
I submitted the application for adsense. On submitting they presented the page having the code which they are asking me to paste between <head> and </head> tags on the homepage of website. The screenshot of their instructions is here. http://www.screencast.com/t/cX6nqknOOZo
This is what they are instructing
//
Connecting your WordPress site
If you’re new to AdSense, one of your first tasks is to connect your site to AdSense. This requires you to copy the code on your AdSense homepage and paste it into the HTML of your page, between the <head> and </head> tags. To do this in WordPress, you can either:
Use a plugin to insert the code. You can use one of the plugins that lets you make changes to the “header” of your site
Or, place the code through your WordPress theme settings. We recommend not editing theme files directly. If the theme you edit is updated, your changes will be overwritten.
Your existing plugin or theme may have a feature for inserting the code. Here’s some additional resources from partners that you may be already using:
Genesis themes (see documentation)
Insert Headers and Footers plugin (see documentation)
Advanced Ads plugin (see documentation)
Ad Inserter plugin (see documentation)
Be aware that not all themes and plugins allow you to insert code into your site’s header. Note that Google is not responsible for malicious third-party themes or plugins.
//
Is there any option in newspaper theme that I can paste the code between <head> and </head> tags so that I can complete the adsense application process?
Thanks
Vineet
The slidehsow / list problem was on desktop.
We were using option 1, but that didnt work properly it is buggy.
So now using option 6 and 7, that seems to be working.
Once the mobile error appears again will take a screenshot.
Could be w3 cache problem too, but that is the only one that is loading the website quickly. As the theme is very heavy. Even on a 6 core CPU and 6GB ram server.
Hope the next update makes the theme light and nice to load.
Also, when is the infinite article load option coming?
Regards
Sorry. Just checked. Still not working.
I update the theme using the Envato Market plugin.
I don’t upload the theme via FTP.
Should I be doing that? Would that possibly overcome the issue?
I am creating my website just now since 2 weeks with Newspaer Theme – updated to 9.1
Some days ago I noticed that suddenly the very improtant Responsive check consisting of 4 small icons left site changed.
Only three of them are now visible: Desktiop viewport – Landscape viewport – Portrait viewport.
So its not possible anymore to check and edit proper the results I composed with the Composer.
Please find a screenshot here: https://ibb.co/bFuKtL
What can I do to fix this problem because its not possible to go on with the work.
And I do not want to loose the whole work.
Thank you for your help.
