Shortcodes are not a general thing that works with every builder or theme out there. Visual composer has it’s own shortcodes. But if you use shortcodes from another page builder, they will not work with visual composer. Try to find shorcodes that work with visual composer and they will work with our theme as well. But if they are not compatible with the builder, they will not be compatible with our theme as well.
The shortcode plugins are not tested. some of them might work and some of them might not. This is the case with every theme out there. Not all plugins are compatible.

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

This error happens due to your untested plugins which are used on your side. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the result. Also, if you have a Google Analytics code, check to be right added with the script tag.

Please try to revert the theme to the default state, remove all untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.

It is possible to be used on posts as well but we cannot guarantee it’s proper functionality. SOme elements could not position properly.

There could be an issue affecting your settings that prevents you from changing the theme panel settings.
please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. First of all, check your Theme panel->Block Settings that your thumbs to be activated like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/I85cef0Ey4 Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Notice that our theme uses thumbs and the images are cut by these. So, if these are disabled, the theme will display the image at the original size and could look ugly. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.

only affects the news category. Other categories or subcategories will not have this class: .category-news
If you want to affect all the subcategories as well, you need to add all the category classes to the css code like so:
.category-news .author-box-wrap, .category-news2 .author-box-wrap, .category-video .author-box-wrap, .category-test .author-box-wrap{
display:none!important
}

2)Unfortunately css does not work like this. If you remove an item from one category it will not affect the subcategory or tag. The tags have their own css classwes so the code needs to be added for classes as well. You will need php modifications and conditions added to the code rather than lots of css rules but I cannot provide them as customization services are not covered by the support.

I do not know the name of your subcategories. You will have to add them to the code.

4) , 5), 6) I suggest you hire a freelancer to help out as you seem to require quite a bit of custom modifications and custom work is beyond what the theme support can provide you. We are here to help with any theme related issues or settings but we do not have a customization department and we cannot provide custom work at the moment.

7) The data shown in the meta is the published date.

8) no, the mobile theme will not use visual composer at all. The news ticker is only available through visual composer.

9)The category tag will show up on every category page indeed. I will addd this to our list for future upates and make a suggestion to remove the category tag from the current category .

Please keep in mind that the mobile plugin will not recognize the Visual Composer shortcode and that’s why if your homepage is created with Visual Composer, on mobile mode will not be displayed anything. Please notice that you should not buy anything version of Visual Composer. Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, the latest version of required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet.
