Hellow,
In the latest newsmag updaet you include the visual composer 4.9. Is it ok? because the 4.9.2 has already released with corrections.
Thank you
Hello mabaro,
I suspect to be a problem that might be caused by the plugins in conflict. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. This odd behavior occurs when some untested plugins interfere between them and with the theme. Also, please ensure that your title of the sidebar does not contain a strange character (unknown symbols) but only letters and numbers. Check your sidebar after you have done this changes and see if your problem persists.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello MyNarrabri,
I have checked you website and your page source and I noticed that you use a lot of untested plugins with our theme. Your theme behaviour is very strange and I suspect it might be caused by conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and thus rule out the plugins in conflict. We have a list of tested plugins and our theme works fine with these -> http://screencast.com/t/nI0FIV4fN Check the theme without your untested plugins used and see if your problem persists. Also, then you can reinstall your plugins one by one and see wich plugin interfere and could cause this problem in our theme.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello,
1) You will need to specify for what element you need the fonts changed as different parts of a page is controlled by different font settings here: http://screencast.com/t/tZgkJgLnIFB
2) The theme has a custom excerpt system but unfortunately it does not control the excerpts in visual composer. The excerpts on a post grid for example come from visual composer but there is no option for length.https://wpbakery.atlassian.net/wiki/display/VC/Grid+Builder You can however add custom excerpts on the post itself in which case both the theme and visual composer will use that particular excerpt you set.
3)In our theme you can only add a featured image on posts. There is no option for pages. You can do it however by altering the theme files. To add this functionality you have to insert this code in functions.php file: http://screencast.com/t/E9FpfjvDm9On
add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails' );
4)Please provide more details as to what gaps and margins do not work properly.
Thank you!
Hello lvargas,
There is so strange behaviour. Unfortunately, this issue does not come from the theme. Please ensure you have entered the correct Twitter ID and you have followed the right steps in this regard. Also, please make sure this problem does not come from the plugins in conflict. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and check it again and see if your problem persists. Please check this tutorial because it should be more useful for you -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Hope that helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello bhadrabalaram,
I have tested on my side and the colour wich I set it from the panel it is not applied on site until you do not save it. The theme has been designed to use this functionality and also, this button is placed there because has this function. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and check it again…it is not likely from plugins but you could try it and see the results.
Hope this helps!

Hello Navneet,
I suspect to be a problem caused by plugins in conflict. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and checked again if your problem is still there.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes after this advice.

Hello,
You can set up your page in visual composer and filter the blocks you set by a specific category. Please check this link for block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
You can also use this tutorial on how to use visual composer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss-BEobegAw
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hello,
This is the main reason why the images do not appear on your website: http://screencast.com/t/KvxvZgfttR
You have JS errors in your console. Probably a plugin conflict. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer and check your site again. One of them is conflicting with the theme. The lazyload animation is causing this error because it is the first to break on js errors. If you remove this option your images will reappear but there might be other parts of your website affected as well. Best to find the root of the problem.
Thank you!
Hello Adelle,
You can always replace the plugin that causes issues. Plugins are not unique. There are a number of plugins out there that do the same thing as the other one.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer and clear your cache.
Thank you!
Hello,
This issue is caused by the photon feature of jetpack. The photon feature is known to cause issues with our theme so please disable it.
If you are not using photon then please try to disable all plugins except visual composer and clear cache. If the problem goes away then you need to figure out which plugin is causing this issue.
Thank you!
Hello emirbalin,
1) There is about Permalinks. If you want to change it, you can set the structure of this by setting from panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/ueI0m3Z2zW As reference, please consult this link -> https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks
2) I suspect this issues it might be caused by conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the plugins in conflict.
3),4) Unfortunately, our theme does not have such option. Please try to search some plugins with these functionalities and test it on your side and see how it works for you or you can hire a freelancer/developer to implement these functionalities in our theme because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
5) Please make sure you have these requirements before further investigation is required:
a) Please make sure you have the latest theme version: 6.6.4. If not, you need to follow this guide to update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
b) Having the latest version of the theme is not enough if you do not update the social counter as well. You need to remove the current version you use: http://screencast.com/t/4jvRwNzK and then install the version of the plugin that comes with the 6.6.4 theme: http://screencast.com/t/9AKKURjTjX
You can recognize if you have the correct version of the plugin when you see the new app key settings: http://screencast.com/t/CIXxklBanNl If you do not have these settings in your social counter it means you do not have the correct version.
c)You need to follow this guide to get the requirements from facebook:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Please keep in mind that the social counter is not a live count. It will update once every few hours. Please try with other Facebook Id, as example cocacola or envato and see how it works.
Once you followed all the above steps properly and made sure you have not missed anything, (and the social counter still does not work), then you can send an email to contact@tagdiv.com with your login information so we can further inspect the issue.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Please ensure you have disabled all the active plugins except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Hello moor,
I have checked you website and saw the problem with your Big Grid displaying on mobile mode. Also, I notice you are using an RTL mode. Our theme has not been designed to work in RTL mode and this could cause some errors in the theme. Please check our demo preview and see that this feature works fine without problems, like this-> http://screencast.com/t/wh3urhM4A3y We suggest trying to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello ebisps,
We have disabled the Frontend Editor from Visual Composer Plugin because this option generated some incompatibilities with our theme and we have decided to move out of the theme. If you want to enable this, you should remove/comment this snippet of the code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/7ivn03klZWv
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello Lars,
Unfortunately the border option in visual composer does not work properly.
The border can be set with css if you like:
First add a custom class to the row: http://screencast.com/t/3mADQrcKmz8
And then use this css to target it:
.customborder{
border:1px solid black;
}
Thank you!
Hello,
I have checked your website and saw the issue. This problem is caused by a plugin incompatibility that produces a js error. The lazyload animation is the first to break on a js error so the images stay with opacity 0. There are 2 ways to go about this. The first would be to disable the lazyload animation and your images will display again but it will not make the js error go away. It could break other parts of your website.
The second thing you can do is disable all plugins except visual composer to and check your site again. Now your images should display properly and you will need to figure out which plugin causes it by reactivating them one at a time. This is the best thing to do in order to find the root of the problem and to replace the conflicting plugin.
Thank you!
Hello benigno,
I have checked you website and your search option and seems to work as expected, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/3yYUbjchHg Have you solved in the meantime? If your problem returns, please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. This kind of problem it might be caused by the plugins in conflict and following this advice you rule our the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello vskaarthi,
Until now, we do not have any reports with this kind of plugin, Thumbnail Upscale. We recommend to our users to use the functionality of this plugin. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer and Thumbnail Upscale, clear all cache and check if your problem is still there. I have installed this plugin on my side and works fine. Or, it is possible to have some errors with other plugins wich could produce this issue. Also, you can try to disable your lazy load function and see how it works. -> http://screencast.com/t/DskJqTaBr4Lc

User roles are managed by WordPress, not the theme. You may need to use a plugin to manage advanced user roles if not wanting to use default settings from the link @catalin provided above.
I think the user role “editor” works for adding embeds — oembed is a standard feature on posts in WordPress. Embeds work if it’s a supported format, and if you enter that on the correct editor tab.
Meaning, sometimes if you paste a Video URL from MS word on the visual editor, for example, it won’t embed because it’s wrapped in HTML when converted; so that has to be done on the text editor tab.

UPDATE – pushed to live server so the link is now http://staging2.bitesizepixel.com/high-resolution-free-images/
Please let me know if you can look into this and find out what is wrong. I checked with the support of VC and they said :
The issue is because there is an inbuilt version of Visual Composer (or the related code) present in your theme which is overriding the standalone plugin version and hence causing the issue. You will have to get rid of it. I would advise you to do so with the help of theme author, otherwise you might loose the extra elements added by him. Once this is done, you can install the standalone plugin and it will work fine. Kindly check.
