Hello developers,
I would like to increase the thumbs size in mobile theme top grid. Because many of thumbs are cropped such method that image content is out of view.
I’ve done it with code:
.td_module_mob_2 .td-module-thumb {
height: 200px; }
.td_block_big_grid_mob_1 .td_module_mob_2 img {
top: -50px;
position: relative; }
And I’ve changed the cropping method in td_741x486 from array( 'center', 'top' ) to array( 'center', ‘center’ ) for the more appropriate visuality.
Everything is OK but on small devices (e. g. iPhone 5 with 320×568 screen) under the thumb images appears the gray field.
How can I slide, move or zoom thumb images with correct way? For example, scale from the center to fill out the whole space of the thumb.

@Zilhan thank you for the compliment. I use the TD Composer coz of its dedicated elements built specifically for the theme (like the new flex box and td multipurpose plugin elements). The advice given here is that you should not use td composer and visual composer at the same time because it will cause plugin conflicts. So, the best option is to choose one and deactivate the other. So, the choice is yours, even though the recommended plugin since version 8.5 o4 8.6 has been TD composer because it is being optimized for the theme specifically.
I purchased this theme because it has great visual composer (I really dont understand why you have two composer) and required minimum coding. But I am stuck at creating page.
As I said I will put many topics until I get response!

At the moment, our page builder has been designed to be used only for the page, sorry!

I put so many messages maybe That is why I am ignored but I am really heaving big issue. When I try to use visual composer there is no text with title element. Also I am having problems with editing existing elements. When I open it edit page comes blank.

I have the same issue and many others… I am going crazyyyy. I am thinking to start from the beginning after 1 week hard work!!! I thought main reason is the conflict between composers but I deactivated the tagdiv composer. Visual Composer is enough for me but it seems missing tagdiv composer causes problemsss. I started to feel regret about buying this theme

That issue happens when both composers are active (tagDiv composer and Visual composer). If you built the website with Visual composer and also used it on posts, please deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin. Then everything should display like before.
The tagDiv composer is automatically activated when the theme is installed or updated.

Please notice that Newspaper works with Visual Composer and TD Composer as page builder. Keep in mind that itțs impossible to make a theme to work with anything page builder, sorry! In the future, if you want to achieve best theme results, you should use our page builder.

Deactivate the td composer if you use wp bakery visual composer.
I am so fed up. I installed the TDs from Newspaper->Plugins
Install js-composer in the plugin folder because i really need visual composer to edit my woocommerce products.
And i get sever error 500

It seems there is an issue with the social counter. It will not appear as a widget or as an element in Visual composer unless the tagDiv composer is active. A solution would be to use the previous social counter plugin version (provided in 8.6)

We are very sorry for this inconvenience. All these issues are currently investigated, a theme update will be released as soon as possible.
If you want to switch to the tagDiv composer, you will have to recreate all pages with it. So the amount of work will be proportional to how many pages your website has. After you get some practice with the composer, it will get easier and easier to use

The composers should not be used together. Choose one and deactivate the other, there will be issues between them when both are active. The tagDiv composer is the main page builder now, however Visual composer will still be provided in the theme package.

Please notice that we do not recommend to use both page builder at the same time because could appear some conflicts. If you use visual composer elements on posts, you will not be able to use the tagdiv composer.

You are in the text editor. If you want to use visual composer you have to press the back-end editor button. Also please do not use both page builders at the same time. We recommend using the tagdiv composer as it is our own in house built composer.

Because i could use visual composer for any type of components i selected where as td composer there are no shortcode for the products type.

Make sure that all of your block elements have been made with TD Composer and not with Visual Composer because then could appear some problems. Also, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Most importantly, if you use Visual composer for building pages please deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin (active by default when the theme is installed or updated). Row layouts and specific Visual composer options and elements will be affected when the tagDiv composer is active. Deactivate it and test again, there should be no issues.

After update theme, how i can import TagDiv Social Counter in WPBakery Page Builder(Visual Composer), because there are no more Social Counter block?

@epickenyan I’m surprised at how the support team has been handling this as there have been multiple issues (including site speed) being caused by the update but support keeps telling paying customers to do the work. Seems they would go back to the update and make tweaks as this is the real cause of the problem.
I was using Visual Composer (WP Bakery) as it came with Newspaper but we created a page from TagDiv and will try during quiet time of weekend to try another update to see if that makes any change. We learned from last week to do full backup so if problem hits again, we’ve got it covered.
We’ve done all the steps you and others have mentioned to no avail so maybe creating fresh pages will do something, but at this point, anything is possible.

I’ve updated the theme to the latest version 8.7 and I found some issues when using visual composer. For example, I’m using a row that is 1/6 + 5/6 and that used to display correctly but after the update the 1/6 column is on top the 5/6 column instead of being left and right.
Have the padding or the margins changed with this update?

I purchased Newspaper theme from Envato Market a few months ago, which included the full version of visual composer to use a long side tag div however upon doing a recent download of it again from Envato I can not seem to get visual composer working. Visual composer (now WPBakery Page Builder) has not received any updates, the latest version is 5.4.5 which is included in the full theme package (plugins folder)

That issue you are having is most likely caused by having the tagDiv composer activated. This composer is activated by default when the theme is installed or updated. Please deactivate it from the plugins section and check the results.
