Hi,
@blichbaum If you plan to use Visual composer please make sure the tagDiv composer is deactivated. Settings in Visual composer and certain elements are affected by it.
Also make sure there is no background color or image set in the theme panel, this will make the website boxed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/
Thanks
Hello blichbaum,
1)Unfortunately, the Stretch with Content does not exist for Newsmag, sorry! You should try using the Visual Composer. Try to clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
2)Unfortunately, the theme has not been designed to use dynamic width, sorry! Please refer to the following topic here for more information -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-make-website-full-width-on-desktop/
Thanks for the message!
After activating the mobile theme, my page contents are not showing. Pages like contact us, privacy policy retrieves the blank page. Also didn’t use Visual Composer to create these pages.
Please check this page via mobile: https://techlog360.com/contact-us/
All other page links in footer show similar error.
Unfortunately it does not work for me 🙁
I added a new row and set it to stretch to full-width with no paddings: https://snag.gy/Ss9L5r.jpg
I added single images to it, but it is still limited to the site width: https://snag.gy/aWeCcL.jpg
Also, the Full height row option does not work either. This is VERY frustrating as we bought your theme to make use of Visual Composer’s flexibility.
Please advice asap.
I have already uploaded the images to an external and free server. To be able to visualize what I say. In pictures.
There is a problem, especially with the ENTRY titles. In desktop it looks very good, but in MOBILE, the text covers almost the entire image. Please see the screenshots.
BIG GRID 2:
https://image.ibb.co/nDy06b/Big_Grid2_Desktop.jpg
https://ibb.co/f1s4XG
Desktop: OK.
In MOBILE… wrong:
https://image.ibb.co/ji5PXG/Big_Grid2_Mobile.jpg
https://ibb.co/fjtYRb
As an example, in the image, below, you can see how the title would look good on mobile. But it does not adapt the Big Grid 2 … since it does not have this configuration option.
Please, tell me how I can do, since all the Big Grid have the title on the photo for MOBILE. That’s why I wanted to use the BLOCKS, but there’s no possibility that they cover 100% of the desktop width.
In short, a big problem. Please help.
Ok there I uploaded the images to an external server.
Please see…
1º) Block1 : Empty space in the right.
Image:
https://image.ibb.co/ekF2Kw/Block_1_Empty_Space.jpg
https://ibb.co/bvVrCG
Why is a space left blank?
2º) Block2:
A “more” note appears on the side, alone. Because it does not occupy 100% of the width with the Block2 format ?.

3º) Block3: Again, a note “ghost. The block does not occupy the entire width.

4º) Block 4: Again.

5º) Again… right and down…

Please, help, the blocks are not shown as they should be.
I put some of the blocks as an example, but the same thing happens with all of them.
Thank you, regrats.
Hello,
So if I can’t use visual composer for posts and tagDiv can’t be used for post, what can I use for posts if I want to continue using tagDiv for my pages?
Thanks
Dear Tag Div team,
I am just starting with your theme, so sorry if this is naive. I am a bit confused with two Visual Compisers (js and yours) working together and I am struggling with setting up site width as well as row background colors.
Please look at the screenshot: https://snag.gy/E3KpkH.jpg
1) I would like to have the black background applied to the header and main grid only. Therefore, I want 1) to be white. In order to do this, I changed the background colour in Theme Options. But now 2) is also white. Normally, I would use WP Bakery Visual Composer to stretch rows and content and apply black background to it. But sadly it does not work. Can you advice?
2) Where do I change the global width of the website?
Thank you!
Hi,
I could’t say at the moment if this will happen, might at some point in the future. Visual composer was never intended in the first place to be used on posts, in the theme.
So for the moment either use Visual composer further, or recreate the posts which would not easy in most cases. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hello Tagdiv,
At least add minimum support on Posts when using Tagdiv Composer. I have created several posts using Visual Composer. When I switched to Tagdiv Composer, the post created with Visual Composer have layout issues. I recreated every posts without Visual composer. But in some posts, the use of some blocks are mandatory. Kindly add some support for using some shortcodes to some blocks in the future updates. Also two columns support for adding two images side by side. Thanks.
Hi,
Visual composer was never supposed to be used on posts, this is mentioned in the documentation
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
That is why it is initially disabled for post pages. The tagDiv composer can only be used on pages, it cannot be enabled on posts.
The best way would be to continue using Visual composer further in this case. Posts containing Visual composer elements will not display properly when the tagDiv composer is active.
Thanks
Hi,
What you are trying to do could be possible with then tagDiv composer. I see that you are using Visual composer, this has some options as well.
There is a setting that would allow you to hide columns on specific devices
– https://www.screencast.com/t/9sPFL11K
You could add block 3 that looks as you want on mobile in a column below block 12. Then hide block 12 column on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DcZzTqUL356r
And block 3 column on desktop
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MtYsoudx
That way block 12 is visible on desktop, and on mobile blocks 3 will be visible. Use the same sorting on the blocks to display the same posts. This would be a solution if you should consider it.
There might be a way to make block 12 similar to block 3 on mobile with CSS, but maybe the above solution would be better.
Thanks
Hi,
That probably means you used Visual composer on the posts. This is happening because of the tagDiv composer introduced in version 8 of the theme.
This composer will be automatically installed and activated when the theme theme is installed or updated. Please go in the plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer. Everything should display properly then.
Thanks
Hi!
I am trying to use the accordion element from visual composer in a page, and it works. But, in the moment that I open the same page with tagdiv composer, the accordion is distroyed and only appears the full text that was inside the accordion. I mean, it is impossible to combine the accordion from visual composer and then use tagdiv composer in order to add an element or do whatever and I need to use it.
So the problem is that in tagdiv I don´t have the accordion element and I can not use it from visual composer and then go back tagdiv because the accordion will be break.
So, do you know some plugin, some html code that I can put in a column text in tagdiv composer o some solution for that? I only want a sample accordion like in the following screenshot.
https://screenshot.net/es/5l1n2td
Pd: I also would like to congratulate for the last update!! With the accordion element just would have been perfect, haha.
Thank you in advance 😉
Hello,
We know of 3 possible causes for this issue.
1) The wp super cache setting to cache page. Please only use these settings in wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use any other cache plugin, make sure you do not cache pages for known users or for logged in users depending on the plugin setting.
2) Do not use this setting in seo by yoast: https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh
3) Editing a page that was previously built with another page builder.
You need to edit the page with the builder it was initially created with. Do not edit a page with tagdiv composer if it was not originally built with it. If you created your page in visual composer and then switched to our own page builder, you will have to re-create that page
Thanks
Hello,
Please disable the tagdiv composer if you do not use it. IF you want to use visual composer you should disable the composer. If you do not know what the tagdiv composer is please check https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ but you should NOT use it together with the wpbakery builder as it will create layout issues.
Thanks.
Hi,
If you plan to use Visual composer as the page builder, please deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin. The composers have a different functionality for single images which could produce such issues.
Thanks
Hi,
There would be no need to use actual shortcodes to create pages. Simply place the desired element in the location you want. This is for Visual composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
And the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Those shortcodes can be be used on posts, to create a playlist or smart list. Button shortcodes have been moved in the formats section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/70ffjR9ql4
The tagDiv composer builder cannot be used on posts. Visual composer can be enabled if absolutely required.
Thanks
Hi,
If you are referring to the page design, that is built with Visual composer, an older version of the theme is used it seems.
The top part would be a search form set on a row with a background, below that a block 3 followed by multiple single images and text elements.
Please correct me if I misunderstand.
Thanks
Hi bro, but in other instance of my network without your theme visual composer is working good, pls review again your theme, visual composer and multisite instance, because i need this clear and working urgent
Tnks a lot
Stay alert
Hello chrizzim,
Unfortunately, the Visual Composer has not been tested with post pages and that’s why we do not recommend to use it for that kind of pages, sorry! Try to use the theme only with
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Maybe you used HTML or CSS in the post content, check the post content in the Visual tab there could be inline styles such as text formatting set. This could force the text to display without line breaks.
Thanks
Hello,
I think it’s great that you want to create your own page builder, especially if it is lighter and faster than Visual Composer. Here I want to share my opinion about tagDiv Composer and give you some feedback, if it is OK.
I think that you have a lot of work to do until you reach the level of Visual composer. I my opinion your backend editor is not so user friendly and here are few examples:
01. Native theme elements are visualized great, but others, like “Widget Sidebar”, are poorly visible. You can make the height of this element bigger, because now it is something like 20 px and it is difficult to grab & edit.
02. Rows, Columns and other main elements are hard to understand and edit. In VC is a lot better – bigger and clear editor elements and controls.
03. Text block element is not working for me, when I hit “edit content” text editor pops up with loading circle element, which never load. There is a hidden error in an iframe:
“Warning: require_once(/home/***/public_html/files/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.phpwp-load.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/***/public_html/files/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.php on line 13”
“Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/***/public_html/files/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.phpwp-load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php7.0/lib/php’) in /home/***/public_html/files/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.php on line 13”
04. Text written in Cyrillic is visualized as symbols and take a lot of space in WP content editor. Example of such text: 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
05. Why you don’t have 1/2 + 1/2 columns in build-in elements? It is confusing.
Other than that everything is working great with latest theme and plugins updates 🙂
p.s. I can not understand why this topic is not viewing correctly?!
Hello Xana,
This happens in the latest version of WP when using visual composer on posts. Please do not use visual composer on posts as this was never tested. Please only use it on pages as mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Thank you!
Hi,
From previous similar cases, this issue happened when Visual composer was used to place a single image element on a page, while tagDiv composer was active.
The composers have different functionality for single image elements.
If you are going to use Visual composer as the builder, deactivate the tagDiv composer from the plugins section.
Please correct me if that is not the case, and also provide more details about the element you use, the configuration and what is happening.
Thanks
