rates of speed are quite low, I don’t know how to raise them.
As I understand, the main problem is pictures. but how to change them? I load images with a weight of 50-80 kb
Hello bemibel,
I saw that you are using some full-width elements and you have some flashes when you load the website. Most likely, you are using the Speed Booster and you have some additional customizations through the code (CSS for example) and that’s why appears that flashes. You can refer to the following topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/header-style-8/ Also, if is not what you mean and if you need more assistance, in this case, please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it.
Thanks for the message!

Hi,
@jermyn7 As mentioned the speed booster plugin has a predefined internal list of plugins, if it detects other plugins installed it will deactivate. This is implemented because it could cause issues with various plugins.
This check could be disabled by editing the plugin, a solution is mentioned in the provided topic. Note that some plugins may not function well after doing this.
If you want to improve website speed there are multiple topics here on the forum containing advice and guides with good results. Some of them here

Hi,
I have these numbers in Google PageSpeed for my website https://news.ecoindustry.ru: desktop – 87/100 but mobile – only 72/100. I installed and set WP Super Cache according your recommendation. What can I do to make the speed better?
Thanks on advance.
Hi,
There is no documentation for setting Total cache, because we only tested Super cache. Try configuring it with similar settings if possible and check the results.
However based on previous user feedback, this caching plugin could cause potential issues with the theme. But you can make some tests and see how it goes if it is absolutely necessary to use it.
Here are some useful page speed guides that you can follow as well

Hello Jose,
I have inspected your website with Google Page Speed Insights and it seems to have a good page speed loading as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7NehW03RTuJB Also, if you want a better speed for mobile devices, you should try using the Mobile Theme plugin according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Usually, we recommend the developers from studio.envato.com because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
I want to optimize my page with the booster plugin for the pagespeed (google), but honestly … I do not understand a lot of programming.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Can you do this work on my website? Could you please provide me with a quote/price? my web is: https://goo.gl/ysx2ic
Thanks
@Catalin-l, thanks for your answer but my problem is not the speed of my website but the high number of outbound connections.
@neotrope, yes i’ve disabled the tagDiv Social Counter plugin but i still have a big number of outbound connections. I’ll try to disable the facebook like button… i hope it will solve the problem.

Hello culturezvous,
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/

Hello all,
If you want to follow the Google Algorithm you should simply disable the Mobile Theme and then, the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive layout and you will have the same content for any type of devices. Notice that the Mobile Theme is an optional plugin which gives you more opportunities to increase your page speed loading on mobile and also, gives you more option for your website on mobile devices.
Thanks for the message!

Hi! Thanks for your reply. ๐
If I desactivate Speed Booster, the problem persists. I think it’s not a problem with this plugin.
On some parts of the website I think it’s problem of the custom css, because first loads the original version and after a second it loads the custom one.
About the strange effect at loading the homepage, it happens on mobile and desktop, and I observed that first all the site is loaded boxed, and after a second it turns to full width.
As a conclusion, I think the problems are two:
1. The custom CSS
2. Plugin visual composer that loads boxed first, and then turns to full width
If I move the custom css to the theme original file, after updating the theme I will lose all the changes, because there is no child theme. Or am I wrong?
About the problem with visual composer that first loads boxed content, I don’t know how to solve it.
I hope you can help me. Thank you so much!

Hi, for my website I’m using the newspaper8 theme. When I started working with it, I tried the fashion and baby demo. Now I noticed that desktop users always see a kind of loading animation. The first thing to load is obviously a background image of a child which I actually never uploaded. At the same time an overlay (black/greyish) appears which then vanishes to the right side.
That loading animation does not only affect the loading speed, but also the usability. Please let me know how I can disable it without loosing all my content.
Link to the screenshot: https://ibb.co/giHfdR (which is hard to take as the loading animation is < 1 sec)
Thank you.
Hello TagDiv Team,
My website is very slow on Mobile, some images are not loading. Users can’t access to the menu, when I click on it nothing is happening… I don’t understand why. Plus my Pages Insight scores are pretty high: 88 Mobile / 92 Desktop: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmybeautifuleurope.com%2F&tab=desktop . My GT Metrix score is high too.
I checked this page: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and I still can do some improvements from this page. But I don’t understand why before it was working good ๐
Can you help me detect what is the issue on my website?
Thank you very much for you awesome work ๐
Hi,
Please try and test without the ad implementation you currently have. Remove all ads/plugins and test again. It seems that it takes a considerable amount of time loading the ads.
Then try deactivating or reducing the number of images displayed in the footer Instagram.
There is a guide for improving page speed available, test the website with the Google page speed tool and follow the recommendations
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
It seems to specify that the server response time is not adequate
– https://www.screencast.com/t/eZmOZsB6
There are many page speed guides and discussions posted by the theme users, with great results

Again … theme cannot fix your basic system setup stuff; you have to do that yourself, as with *all* WordPress themes and any website in general.
Using GTMetrix.com to test a post on your site will also give you specific examples of the things you can optimize with tips, if the speed guide I linked to above is no help. ๐

Hi,
Plugins can slow down the loading speed of the website. I see the issue with the socials is fixed, you could identify what exactly is causing this by enabling the plugins one at a time. Keep checking after activating each plugin.
Thanks
Hi,
I believe that is happening because of the demo, this contains custom design and automatically loads the demo style at first, then the other settings from theme panel are applied.
A solution would be to modify the menu borders (top menu and main menu) directly in the demo stylesheet, change them to your current color there
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yNRc6jMqei1S
These flashes are noticeable if it takes a longer period of time to load the website.
For the top menu and main menu backgrounds, please try and enter this code directly in the theme stylesheet
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-top-menu-full {
background-color: #f9f9f9;
}
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap-full {
background-color: #303030;
}
This will load the backgrounds together with the rest of the style, reducing or removing the flash.
You could improve the website loading speed, to try and prevent such issues. Even installing a caching plugin may reduce or completely remove the problem
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thanks
