By a theme option that would not be possible. With a translation plugin that could be possible. We made tests with the WPML plugin, this allows the theme ad spots to be translated (chnage their content by language).

Maybe it would be possible in other ways, like using a plugin that has ad options by language, together with the theme ad spots or entirely with the plugin.

Select the socials you want and check them, I will use Facebook in the example

I know how to do it with WPML, with Polylang did not exactly try it. Check in the string translation settings of the plugin, there should be a footer page field. This is how it’s done with WPML

That is unusual, I don’t know why that happens unfortunately. You could set the language menu where it shows, in the top menu. That would be the only way if in the main menu it does not appear.
I have not made any tests with that plugin. qTranslate or WPML should work, but with WPGLobus I have no idea, sorry.

That would work I have tested it multiple times. The only way the string would not appear is if there are problems when saving after you select the string. I had this problem previously, I believe I fixed it by increasing the max-input_vars

Higher than minimum or recommended is usually better if possible.

From what I know the website URL or permalinks would not be affected by WPML. WPML would only add additional parameters in the URL when viewing translated pages

The /blog may be forced in the wp-config or website database if not defined in WordPress settings. Maybe contact your hosting for assistance as well.

If you use that setting there will be problems with the composer as you try to edit the translated pages. The other two settings should work.

Never tried that plugin unfortunately, however if you are certain it does not work with the theme you could use other language plugins. Try qTranslate, Polylang these would be free, or WPML this would require you to purchase it.
