Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and check if you still have this issue.
If you don’t have this issue anymore, activate your plugins one by one to see which one cause this. Usually this issues are caused by plugins that are in conflict with the theme javascript.

Try to create your Tabs in a page, then copy the shortcode to your post content. The theme renders the shortcodes also in the post content:

I see that you use old version, please upgrade to the latest version of the theme using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and update also the plugins provided with the theme(Visual Composer, Social Counter..).
If you use an older version that 4, I recommend to do a clean install and recreate your homepage and check all the new theme features, blocks, modules. Please note that the Newspaper6 is practically a new theme, the whole code was rewritten, so old files customization or custom css will not works and you need to adjust it.

The tagdiv blocks were designed to work with default post types so you have many options to filter your articles on block(by category, multiple category, tags) as you can see in the docs – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Regarding your issue to filter articles and events into the same block, I can recommend to try filter by tag option, so posts and events with the same tag will appear on your Big Grid block.

We did not any similar reports so we cannot provide an exact answer regarding why this issue appeared. I’m not sure about all the settings of the plugins you use to tell you exactly if one of them could cause a similar issue, as we did not tested all of them(just those recommended – http://screencast.com/t/lPbFyRjROibI ).
I recommend to do more investigations regarding this, a start can be to ask your host about this. I’m sure he can offer more information on why those files were deleted(user action or plugin).

Do you refer to the classic pagination(numeric)? Or to the next/prev block pagination?
If you are referring to the numeric pagination also the url should change when you click next – http://screencast.com/t/3FPHjsFDWAV so if it doesn’t change please re-save your permalinks from WP Settings.
For next/prev pagination please disable all the plugins except of Visual Composer and also check the browser console for errors. This issue appears usually when it is a conflict between a plugin(or more) and the theme’s javascript.

Please clear all the caches, also check this only with Visual Composer and Woocommerce active and also check the Woocommerce settings for this. Also you can check the Woocommerce documentation – https://docs.woothemes.com/documentation/plugins/woocommerce/ as the theme supports Woocommerce, there are just few implementations for templates(for example add custom sidebar in Theme Panel..), the theme doesn’t alter the plugins settings.
So if you use cache plugin I suspect that it is the problem.

Please also check your custom css, if it is added properly even a unclosed bracket could cause issues and also like I said above check the smartlist structure.
